There are two reported ways to get the Legendary Kiwi Kiwi in Adopt Me: hatch it from a Basic or Crystal Egg bought with Tickets, or trade with a player who has one. A Crystal Egg has a higher reported Kiwi chance per hatch, but costs ten times as much as a Basic Egg; neither hatch is guaranteed, and the exact Kiwi-specific odds are not officially confirmed. Before spending Tickets, check the current hatch pool in the Nursery.
How to get Kiwi Kiwi
Guides updated in August 2026 report Kiwi Kiwi as available from Basic Eggs and Crystal Eggs at Jane’s Ticket Exchange, as well as through player trades. The official egg update confirms prices and overall Legendary-pool rates, but does not expressly identify Kiwi Kiwi in the current egg pools. Because pools can change, confirm the live Nursery hatch pool before buying an egg.
- Check the Nursery: confirm that Kiwi Kiwi is shown in the current hatch pool for the egg you plan to buy.
- Choose a route: spend Tickets on eligible eggs for a chance at the pet, or look for a player willing to trade one.
- Plan around uncertainty: an egg purchase is a chance, not a promise; a trade depends on finding an offer you accept.
Which egg is better for Kiwi Kiwi?
The official Adopt Me update published February 20, 2026 lists these prices and overall Legendary rarity-pool rates. Those rates describe the chance of hatching a pet in the Legendary category, not an officially verified chance of Kiwi Kiwi specifically.

AllThings.How and NerdsChalk report the same Kiwi-specific percentages as the official rarity rates, but NerdsChalk notes that the Kiwi figures are not in official patch notes and that community estimates differ. Treat them as estimates rather than confirmed odds. On those reported estimates, the Crystal Egg offers a higher chance per attempt, while the Basic Egg costs one tenth as much per attempt. Neither option makes a Kiwi hatch reliable or guaranteed.

Choose based on your Ticket budget
- Consider Basic Eggs if you prefer a lower Ticket cost per attempt and are comfortable with a smaller reported chance each time.
- Consider a Crystal Egg if you want the higher reported per-egg chance and can afford its higher cost.
- Do not infer total cost to obtain Kiwi Kiwi from a per-egg percentage: the official rates are category-level rates, and the Kiwi-specific figures are unconfirmed estimates.
Trading for Kiwi Kiwi
Trading avoids the randomness of hatching, but it is not a fixed-price shortcut. The value players assign to Kiwi Kiwi can change with demand and current offers, and the available guides do not establish a stable fair-trade price.
- Review several current offers before deciding what you would give up.
- Set a personal limit in advance and trade only pets or items you are comfortable losing.
- Do not treat an old value list or a single offer as proof of a current market price.
Hatching trades Ticket spending and chance for repeated attempts; trading trades that uncertainty for negotiation over your items. Which route is preferable depends on your available Tickets, your collection, and the offers you can actually find.
