Mortal Shell II has 53 achievements on Steam, according to Valve’s Steam Community list in 2026. The list gives exact objectives for some entries but shows no objective text for others. The game is also listed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the Steam count does not establish that the console trophy lists are identical. Route and missable advice from community guides may also change with patches.
What the 53-achievement list covers
The Steam list spans story progress, Shells, weapons and sidearms, upgrades, collectibles, beacons, Shell Memories, and completing the game. Use the official Steam Global Achievements page as the checklist for the Steam version. Where that page does not show an objective, this guide marks it as objective not shown rather than guessing.
Steam lists Mortal Shell II on Steam; the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store list PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. Those storefront pages establish platform availability, not the full trophy or achievement checklist for those platforms. Check the live list on your own platform before relying on a cross-platform roadmap.
Before you start: protect your achievement run
- Do not equip the Slayer Seal casually. Independent references report that equipping it disables achievement progress on that save, and one reproduces an in-game warning. The official pages cited here do not independently document the rule. Read and heed the game’s prompt before confirming: MortalShellDB’s achievement reference and All Things How’s guide.
- Treat missable warnings as provisional. Independent guides identify possible prologue- or route-sensitive achievements, but do not agree consistently about what is missable or whether New Game Plus resolves it. No definitive missable count or fully verified route can be established from the available platform list.
- Keep a record of hidden objectives. If an entry below has no public objective text, consult its live in-game or platform description rather than inferring the task from its name.

How to plan a completion run
The official list confirms the categories and some end conditions, but it does not provide a step-by-step route for every unlock. A practical approach is to keep broad goals in view as you explore, then use the exact in-game descriptions for entries whose Steam descriptions are hidden.
As you progress through the story
- Track story-location milestones, including reaching Marrowkeep and entering the Festival.
- Look for Shell unlocks and Shell Memories as separate goals: the list has achievements for first and all Shell Memories, as well as individual Shell unlocks and unlocking all Shells.
- Do not assume a story milestone can be revisited or that a missed interaction is recoverable in a later mode unless the current game build confirms it.
While exploring and upgrading
- Keep separate notes for Map Fragments, Ova, and Tarstones; each has its own listed achievement.
- Track weapons and sidearms independently. Individual unlock achievements sit alongside “all Weapons” and “all Sidearms” achievements.
- For the two explicit upgrade-related goals, the list specifies maxing a Weapon at the Tarforge and reaching a Shell’s maximum bonding tier at the Shellkeeper.
During cleanup
- Review every achievement still locked in your platform’s live list; do not use an undocumented name as proof of a particular task.
- Confirm the status of “Cleanse All Beacons,” all Lute Tracks, all Shell Memories, and each all-collection or all-unlock achievement.
- Before beginning another playthrough or relying on New Game Plus to fix a missed objective, verify that behavior on your current platform and build. The independent references do not establish one universal cleanup route.
Which achievements are missable?
The evidence available here does not support a definitive list of missables. Community guides flag possible route-sensitive or prologue-related risks, but differ on the affected achievements and on whether New Game Plus provides a reliable recovery. Treat specific missable claims from fan guides as leads, not guarantees, and check a current guide tied to your platform and game version before committing to a route. The official Steam list supplies achievement names and some objectives, not missability or recovery rules.

Are the PlayStation and Xbox trophies the same as Steam?
That is not established by the storefront evidence. Steam’s official page lists 53 achievements, while the cited PlayStation and Xbox store pages confirm the game’s availability rather than publishing a complete, comparable trophy-by-trophy list. A Steam achievement count should not be presented as a verified console trophy count or as proof that names and conditions match.
Is there a physical PS5 edition?
The official Mortal Shell II website describes a PS5 Revered Edition with an artbook, steelcase, art prints, and digital extras, but says it is sold out in most territories. Availability can vary by region and change over time. This edition information does not alter the digital platform achievement list.
