Start by finding out whether the failure is the Galaxy A57, the other device, or the service. Test another device on the same Wi‑Fi, try a second Bluetooth accessory if you have one, and check the phone’s mobile-data signal and carrier status. Then restart the phone, install any available software update, and troubleshoot only the connection type that is failing.
Samsung’s available guidance is general Galaxy support rather than instructions verified specifically for every Galaxy A57 running One UI 9.0. Samsung’s A57 support listing identifies the Galaxy A57 5G (model SM‑A576B/DS), but it does not establish that every regional handset is already on One UI 9.0 or that menu wording is identical. Follow the labels shown on your phone; Samsung says screens and menu names can vary by model and software version.
First, isolate the failure
A quick scope check prevents you from resetting a phone when the router, accessory, or carrier is actually at fault. Write down what you see: the network is missing, the password is rejected, Wi‑Fi connects without internet, a Bluetooth device is not discoverable, pairing fails, or mobile data shows no service.

| What fails | Test to run | Likely next owner |
|---|---|---|
| One Wi‑Fi network | Connect another phone or computer to that network. | Router or internet provider if the other device also cannot get online. |
| Several Wi‑Fi networks | Try a different known-working network near the phone. | Galaxy settings or software if the A57 fails everywhere. |
| One Bluetooth accessory | Try another accessory, or try the affected accessory with another phone. | Accessory maker when only that accessory fails. |
| Mobile data | Check the signal indicator, enable Mobile data, and test after a restart. | Carrier when coverage, provisioning, or the account is involved. |
| Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data together | Restart, check for updates, and then consider a network-settings reset. | Phone software or Samsung Support if the problem follows the phone. |
Restart before changing settings
Open the power menu and restart the A57. If the phone is frozen, Samsung also documents a button-based restart in its Wi‑Fi troubleshooting guidance. After the phone comes back, test the failing connection before changing another setting. A restart clears temporary radio and network-service states without deleting personal data.

Check for a software update
Open Settings > Software update and install an available update when the phone can download it. Samsung recommends checking software currency while troubleshooting Wi‑Fi. If you download the update over mobile data, Samsung cautions that your carrier may charge for the data.
Fix Wi‑Fi that will not connect or has no internet
Wi‑Fi problems fall into three different symptoms: the network does not appear, the phone cannot join it, or the phone joins but cannot reach the internet. Work through the matching branch instead of repeatedly entering the password.
When the network is missing or the password is rejected
- Open Quick settings or Settings > Connections > Wi‑Fi and confirm Wi‑Fi is on.
- Move close to the router. Range, walls, and interference can prevent the network from appearing reliably.
- Confirm the router is powered and its internet service is active. For a locked network, re-enter the exact password; Samsung notes that passwords are case-sensitive.
- Restart both the A57 and the router or modem. Wait for the router’s internet indicator to settle, then select the network again.
- Connect another device to the same network. If that device also cannot access the internet, Samsung says the network service may be faulty and directs you to the internet provider.
If other devices work normally but the A57 still cannot join, continue with the phone-side steps below. Avoid changing router security or channel settings until you have established that the phone is the only failing device.

First, compare the result with another device on that same network. If every device is offline, the router’s internet connection or the provider’s service is the problem. If only the A57 is offline, turn Wi‑Fi off and on, restart the phone, and reconnect to the network. Confirm that the router itself has not lost its upstream connection even if its Wi‑Fi signal remains visible.
A network can also be usable locally while its internet service is down. Do not interpret the word “connected” as proof that websites or apps can reach the internet; it only confirms that the phone associated with the router.
When a saved network will not reconnect
After a router password or security change, the A57 may retain an obsolete connection record. In Wi‑Fi settings, select the saved network and use the available forget or remove command, then select the network again and enter the current password. The exact command label can vary on One UI 9.0.
Recently installed third-party apps can also interfere with Wi‑Fi. Samsung suggests testing Wi‑Fi in Safe mode. If the connection works in Safe mode but fails during a normal start, a downloaded app is a plausible cause; remove or disable recently added apps one at a time and retest after each change.

Reset Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth settings only after basic checks
If the A57 fails on multiple known-working networks, use the Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth reset option under Settings > General management > Reset if that path appears on your phone. Some software versions describe the same operation as a network-settings reset. This is not a factory reset, but it removes saved network connection information. Have your Wi‑Fi passwords available and be prepared to pair Bluetooth accessories again.
Factory reset is a last resort
Samsung places factory reset after ordinary troubleshooting and support options. It deletes device data and cannot be undone, so back up photos, messages, authenticator data, and other important information first. A factory reset is reasonable only when persistent phone-wide failures remain after updates, a network-settings reset, Safe mode testing, and Samsung Support guidance. It is not an appropriate first response to one router being offline.
Fix Bluetooth pairing and connection failures
Bluetooth failures are often accessory-specific. Keep the accessory close to the A57, make sure it is charged, and put it into its pairing or discoverable mode according to its maker’s instructions. If another accessory pairs successfully, focus on the original accessory rather than repeatedly resetting the phone.
Forget and pair the accessory again
- Open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and confirm Bluetooth is enabled.
- Find the affected accessory in the saved-device list and choose the available forget, unpair, or remove command.
- Restart the accessory and place it back into pairing mode. Some devices leave pairing mode after a short timeout.
- On the A57, scan for nearby devices, select the accessory, and confirm the pairing code when prompted.
- Test audio, calls, notifications, or the relevant function immediately after pairing.
Removing the old entry matters when the accessory has stored a previous key or has been paired with another phone. If pairing still fails, try the accessory with another phone. A failure that follows the accessory points to its firmware, battery, pairing procedure, or hardware.

Use the accessory’s companion app when required
Some accessories do not complete setup through the Bluetooth menu alone. Samsung gives Galaxy Wearable as an example for compatible earbuds and watches. Install or open the accessory maker’s support app, grant the permissions it requests, and complete setup there. Do not assume that a device appearing in the Bluetooth list means its full features are configured.
When a third-party accessory still will not connect
Samsung advises consulting the third-party manufacturer when its accessory remains unusable after forgetting and pairing again. Check that maker’s instructions for a pairing reset, supported operating-system version, and any required app. If several unrelated accessories fail with the A57, use the Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth reset option under Settings > General management > Reset, if present, and then pair one accessory again.
Fix mobile data that is unavailable
Mobile-data failures usually involve the radio setting, signal coverage, account provisioning, or carrier configuration. A Wi‑Fi connection can hide a mobile-data problem, so turn Wi‑Fi off briefly when testing cellular service.

Confirm Mobile data and signal
- Open Quick settings and make sure Mobile data is enabled. You can also check the corresponding control in Settings > Connections; wording may vary.
- Look at the signal indicator. Move outdoors or to another location if coverage is weak, then wait for the phone to register on the network.
- Turn Wi‑Fi off temporarily and open a webpage or another data-dependent app.
- Restart the A57 and test mobile data again. Samsung’s mobile-data guide recommends testing after each troubleshooting step.
If the phone shows no service, emergency calls only, or a persistently weak signal where coverage is normally available, the carrier may need to investigate an outage or account issue. A recent carrier change while keeping the same phone is especially important to mention.
Reset network settings when mobile data remains offline
When enabling data and restarting do not help, use the network-settings reset offered under Settings > General management > Reset. Samsung’s exact label can differ by model and software. This operation resets Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and other network settings as well as mobile-network configuration. Afterward, reconnect saved Wi‑Fi networks, pair accessories again, and retest mobile data with Wi‑Fi disabled.
Contact the carrier for coverage or provisioning problems
Contact the carrier if mobile service is still unavailable after the reset, particularly when coverage is weak, the account was recently changed, or the SIM/eSIM was moved between phones. Samsung says the carrier may need to reset the device on its network. Give the carrier the location, time of failure, signal behavior, and whether calls and text messages work; those details help separate an account or coverage issue from a handset setting.
What a network-settings reset changes
A network reset is less destructive than a factory reset but has a real cost: it removes stored Wi‑Fi connection details, Bluetooth pairings, and other network settings. It does not serve as a repair for an offline router or a carrier outage. Before selecting it, make sure you know the passwords for important Wi‑Fi networks and have charging cables or companion apps available for Bluetooth accessories.
- Use it after restarting, checking updates, verifying the router or accessory, and confirming that the problem follows the phone.
- Expect to reconnect each saved Wi‑Fi network manually.
- Expect to forget and pair Bluetooth devices again.
- Retest one connection at a time so you can identify whether the reset changed the symptom.
Because One UI 9.0 menu wording can differ by region and model, search the Reset screen for the option that explicitly mentions Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, or network settings rather than assuming every A57 displays the same text.

When to escalate instead of resetting again
Contact the internet provider
Escalate the Wi‑Fi issue to the internet provider when another device also cannot get online through the same router, or when the router’s upstream service is clearly down. Have the provider check the line and service status before making changes on the A57.
Contact the accessory manufacturer
Escalate Bluetooth troubleshooting when only one accessory fails, the accessory cannot pair with another phone, or its required companion app reports a firmware or compatibility problem. The manufacturer can provide the model-specific pairing reset that Samsung’s general Galaxy guide cannot.

Contact the mobile carrier
Escalate mobile data when signal and service remain unavailable after a restart and network reset, when coverage is poor in a known service area, or when you recently changed carriers while retaining the handset. Ask the carrier to verify provisioning and whether the device is registered correctly.
Contact Samsung Support
Use Samsung Support when the A57 fails across multiple Wi‑Fi networks and Bluetooth accessories, or when all connection types started failing together after an update. Samsung’s own mobile-data guidance says to contact Samsung Support if the listed steps do not resolve the issue. Tell support the model identifier (SM‑A576B/DS where applicable), region, software version, exact symptom, and which tests already succeeded or failed.
Important One UI 9.0 qualification
The available Samsung articles are dated general guidance: Samsung UK’s mobile-data page was updated 5 October 2026, Samsung India’s Galaxy Wi‑Fi guide was updated 21 May 2025, and Samsung US provides a Bluetooth troubleshooting page without a publication date shown in the supplied material. Samsung’s Saudi Arabia A57 support listing identifies the SM‑A576B/DS model and surfaces a One UI 9.0 lockscreen-policy topic, but it does not provide A57-specific Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, or mobile-data procedures.
That means the troubleshooting logic is applicable to a Galaxy phone, while a particular button name, reset label, or screen position may differ on your A57. Follow the labels visible on your handset and stop before any reset that would erase information you have not backed up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why won’t my Galaxy A57 connect to Wi‑Fi after One UI 9.0?
Check that Wi‑Fi is on, move within range, confirm the case-sensitive password, and restart both the phone and router. Test another device on the same network. If every device is offline, contact the internet provider; if only the A57 fails on several networks, continue with Safe mode and a network-settings reset.
Why does Wi‑Fi say connected but have no internet?
The phone may be associated with the router while the router has lost its internet service. Test another device on that network. If it also cannot browse, the provider or router is responsible. If only the A57 is affected, toggle Wi‑Fi, restart, forget the saved network, and reconnect.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesHow do I reset Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth without erasing my phone?
Use the Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth or network-settings reset under Settings > General management > Reset, if that option appears. It does not perform a factory reset, but it deletes saved Wi‑Fi details, Bluetooth pairings, and other network settings. Have passwords ready and expect to pair accessories again.

Why won’t my Bluetooth accessory pair?
Confirm Bluetooth is enabled, forget the old saved entry, restart the accessory, and place it in discoverable mode before scanning again. Some earbuds and watches require Galaxy Wearable or another companion app. If the accessory also fails with another phone, ask its manufacturer for a pairing reset or firmware help.
Why is mobile data not working on my Galaxy A57?
Turn Mobile data on in Quick settings, turn Wi‑Fi off while testing, check the signal, and restart the phone. If service remains unavailable, reset network settings and test again. Contact the carrier if coverage, provisioning, an account change, or a recent carrier switch may be involved.
Will a network reset delete photos, messages, or apps?
A network-settings reset is not a factory reset and is intended to clear connection settings. It does remove saved Wi‑Fi networks, Bluetooth pairings, and related network configuration, so you must reconnect afterward. A factory reset is different: it deletes device data and cannot be undone without a backup.
Should I buy a new router, Bluetooth adapter, or cable to fix this?
Not as a first step. The official troubleshooting path is to test existing equipment, restart it, reconnect devices, update software, reset network settings when appropriate, and contact the provider, accessory maker, carrier, or Samsung. The symptom tests should identify the failing service before any purchase.
When should I stop troubleshooting and contact Samsung?
Contact Samsung Support when the A57 fails across multiple known-working Wi‑Fi networks and Bluetooth accessories, or when Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data began failing together after an update. Provide the model, region, software version, exact symptoms, and the tests you already completed.
The Bottom Line
Isolate the fault first: compare another device, network, accessory, or carrier signal before resetting the A57. Restart and update, then use the connection-specific steps. A network reset can clear persistent phone-side faults but removes saved connections; a factory reset is irreversible and belongs only at the end, after backups and support.
