A Landroid Vision that will not start, connect to the app, or dock usually needs a setup correction rather than a replacement part. Start with the mower on a powered charging station, charged, switched on, and unlocked with its PIN. Then follow the display’s Start/OK prompt. For app problems, use a secured 2.4 GHz main Wi‑Fi network with the mower docked and at least 50% battery. For a docking problem, check battery level first, then station orientation, the clear approach, QR-code visibility, contacts, power, and firmware. The station identifies the mower by its QR code; it does not communicate with the mower over home Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth.
Use the symptom to choose the right fix
Do not treat every failure as a dead battery or a bad charging base. The Vision has three separate systems: the startup and PIN sequence, the internet connection used by the app, and the camera-based process used to recognize and approach the charging station. A mower can be online but unable to dock, or able to dock while the app is offline.
| What you see | Start here | Why this check comes first |
|---|---|---|
| The mower is off, in standby, or ignores Start | Put it on the charging station, let it charge, power it on, enter the PIN, then follow the displayed Start/OK or mowing-zone confirmation. | Vision’s normal startup is a sequence, not a single button press. Worx’s startup instructions begin at the station. |
It shows St:En during first setup |
Leave it at the station, let it explore and return, then press OK to save the map. | An unconfirmed map is not saved and the setup error can return. Worx’s St:En guidance also requires at least 2 m of clear space in front of the station. |
| The app cannot pair or the mower is offline | Use a secured 2.4 GHz main network, dock the mower, charge it to at least 50%, and pair through the app with the phone, mower, and router close together. | Guest/public networks and unsupported setup conditions prevent pairing. See Wi‑Fi setup requirements. |
| It says “Can’t find charge station! Press START to reset.” | Take the mower to the base if its battery is too low to return. If it has power, inspect the station’s edge position, orientation, approach, QR-code view, contacts, and power. | The message can indicate insufficient energy, not necessarily a failed base. The owner’s manual gives the low-power instruction. |
When the mower won’t start
Complete the normal startup sequence
- Place the mower correctly on its charging station and allow it to charge. Starting from the station removes uncertainty about its position and battery state.
- Switch the mower on.
- Enter the mower’s PIN when requested.
- Press Start.
- Read the prompt on the display and confirm it as instructed. If Vision does not recognize its location, it can ask you to confirm the mowing zone; make that confirmation rather than repeatedly pressing Start.
These steps follow the sequence in Worx’s Initial Start-Up and Operation guide. If the mower starts only when it is physically on the station, continue with the battery, contact, and station-power checks below instead of assuming the control panel is defective.
Resolve first-time setup and the St:En message
St:En is associated with the initial exploration and map-saving process. Use this procedure:

- Begin with Vision at the charging station.
- Ensure there is at least 2 m of unobstructed space in front of the station for the mapping run.
- Allow the mower to explore the mowing area and return to the station on its own.
- When prompted after it returns, press OK to confirm and save the map.
If you skip the final confirmation, the map remains unsaved and the setup error may recur. The complete procedure is in Worx’s St:En mapping instructions.
Check the physical charging connection
A mower that repeatedly powers down or never gains charge needs a physical inspection before software troubleshooting. With the mower safely stopped, check that it is seated on the base, that the charging contacts can meet, and that dirt, grass, stones, or soil are not preventing contact. Also inspect the station indicator and supply as described in the E1 procedure later in this guide.
When the mower won’t connect to Wi‑Fi or the app
Meet every pairing prerequisite
Vision’s Wi‑Fi setup has specific conditions. Confirm all of these before opening the pairing flow:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- The router is broadcasting a secured main network, not a guest or public network.
- The network is 2.4 GHz.
- The mower is docked on its charging station.
- The battery is at least 50% charged.
- Your phone, the mower, and the router are close enough for a strong setup signal.
These requirements come from Worx’s current Wi‑Fi requirements page. A phone connected to a 5 GHz-only network, a guest SSID, or a mower below the battery threshold can make a correct password appear to fail.

Pair through APP-Link
- Keep the docked mower and your phone near the router.
- Open the Worx app and start its APP-Link procedure for Landroid Vision.
- Select the intended secured 2.4 GHz network when the app displays available networks.
- Enter the network credentials in the app.
- Wait for the mower and app to display the success state before moving the mower or closing the pairing flow.
Worx describes this sequence in Connecting Vision to the Internet. Do not confuse this network connection with station recognition: the station’s QR code is read by Vision’s camera, and Worx says the station itself does not communicate by Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth. The separate base-recognition process is explained in Charging Base Not Found.
Fix an unstable connection after pairing
If pairing succeeds but commands seem delayed, check the Wi‑Fi signal where the mower is parked. Worx says an instruction sent while Vision is in a weak or absent Wi‑Fi area is carried out when the mower returns to an area with a good signal. This can look like a failed command even though the request is queued.
- Verify that the charging station is within stable Wi‑Fi range, not merely that the router works elsewhere in the house.
- Move or reconfigure the network so the station area receives a dependable signal.
- Try the official firmware-update path from the app.
- If the app update cannot complete, use Worx’s manual USB update method for the applicable model.
See Worx’s unstable Wi‑Fi guidance for the signal and firmware recommendations. Keep the mower docked while attempting an update and follow the model-specific prompts shown by the app or support documentation.
When it cannot find its way back to the charging station
First distinguish low battery from navigation
If the display says “Can’t find charge station! Press START to reset.”, the manual says the mower may not have enough power to return. Carry it to the base, place it on the contacts, and allow it to charge. A low-power return failure is not evidence that the camera, map, or base has failed.

For a low-voltage battery error, switch the mower off and place it on the base for emergency charging. If the battery error remains after that emergency charge, the manual identifies the battery as damaged and says it needs changing. A replacement battery should therefore be considered only after this exact persistent-error condition, and it must match the exact WR model; the manual does not establish one universal battery SKU for every Vision model. Put the station on the correct lawn edge
Vision searches for its base along the lawn’s right edge. The station’s position and facing direction therefore matter. Worx’s base guide says the charging contacts and QR code should point clockwise toward the work area, while Vision moves counterclockwise during its approach. A station that is on the wrong edge or turned the wrong way can leave the mower circling or passing the base even when the base has power.
Compare the installed position with the diagrams and requirements in Charging Base Not Found. Correct the orientation before buying parts.

- Remove obstacles that narrow the mower’s approach to the station.
- Keep the required path and the area immediately around the base level and accessible.
- Make sure the camera has an unobstructed view of the station’s QR code.
- Check that grass, mud, or debris is not hiding the code or the charging contacts.
- Confirm that the mower can physically reach the base without a lip, stone, soil mound, or uneven patch stopping its nose.
Vision recognizes the base through the QR code, so a clear camera view is a separate requirement from Wi‑Fi coverage. If the display says Camera blocked!, the owner’s manual attributes that message to a dirty or covered camera; clean the camera and try again. Do not use an abrasive or wet cleaning method that could damage the lens. The error message and remedy are listed in the owner’s manual.

Inspect contacts, power, and firmware
Once orientation, access, and QR visibility are correct, inspect the charging contacts for dirt or damage and verify that the station is powered. The base guide lists contact detection and firmware among the factors that can affect a return. A firmware update may correct recognition behavior, but update only through the official app path or the documented USB fallback.
Station power and ground checks (including E1)
For an E1 power-or-grass issue inside the mowing area, Worx gives a simple supply test:
- Look at the station’s indicator.
- If the indicator is green, restart the mower and test again.
- If the indicator is off, reconnect the station’s power supply.
- Try another wall socket.
- Remove stones, soil, and uneven patches around the station so the mower can approach and sit flat.
These checks are from Worx’s E1 instructions. If the indicator remains off after a known-good socket and a secure reconnection, document the result for Worx support rather than repeatedly resetting the mower.

Charging-temperature and battery safeguards
The owner’s manual states that charging is prevented when the battery temperature is above 45 °C or below 4 °C. Move the mower to a temperature-controlled location or wait for the battery to return to the permitted range, then place it on the station again. Repeatedly forcing a start while charging is inhibited can make a navigation problem look like a startup failure.

If a low-voltage error persists after the manual’s emergency-charging procedure, the manual says the battery is damaged and must be replaced. Verify the exact WR model before ordering a replacement battery; a generic Vision battery listing is not sufficient evidence of compatibility.
What to do when the mower is locked
Vision’s Lock Function can require the Wi‑Fi network that was originally paired with the mower. If the mower is locked after that Wi‑Fi condition, reconnect it to the originally paired network. If that network is unavailable or the lock cannot be cleared, contact Worx Customer Service. Changing to an unrelated network first can leave you unable to satisfy the lock requirement. This behavior and the prescribed response are in the owner’s manual.
When a replacement part is—and is not—justified
Battery
Use a replacement battery only when the manual’s low-voltage error persists after switching the mower off and placing it on the station for emergency charging. Confirm the exact WR model and its approved battery specification before purchase. If the mower merely reports that it cannot find the station, first carry it to the base and investigate low charge, temperature, contacts, and station power.

A new base is not the default remedy for a docking failure. First establish that the station is correctly located on the lawn’s right edge, oriented with contacts and QR code clockwise toward the work area, reachable, clean, powered, and visible to the camera. Also check firmware. Only after those checks reveal physical damage should you investigate a replacement base or component, and any part must fit the exact mower model. Worx’s return guide does not state that most docking failures require a new base or provide a universal base part number.
| Possible purchase | Evidence to have first | What is not established |
|---|---|---|
| Replacement battery for your Landroid Vision | Persistent low-voltage battery error after emergency charging, plus verified WR-model compatibility. | No universal battery SKU for all Vision models. |
| Replacement charging-base part | Confirmed physical damage after orientation, QR visibility, access, contacts, power, and firmware checks. | No universal base part number or claim that a new base fixes ordinary setup errors. |
If the same error repeats in one area
The owner’s manual says a recurring error in the same lawn area can indicate a working-area setup problem. Revisit the installation instructions and inspect that location for an obstacle, uneven ground, a narrow approach, or another boundary mistake. Record the exact on-screen message and the location where it occurs. This is more useful for support than replacing a part based only on the symptom.
A complete recovery sequence
Use this order when several symptoms appear at once:
- Put Vision on the powered station and allow it to charge; check for extreme battery temperature.
- Power it on, enter the PIN, press Start, and confirm the displayed prompt or mowing zone.
- If
St:Enappears, provide at least 2 m of clear space, let the mower explore and return, and press OK to save the map. - For app trouble, confirm a secured 2.4 GHz main network, docked status, at least 50% battery, and close phone/router/mower placement. Pair through APP-Link and wait for success.
- For docking trouble, determine whether the battery is too low to return. Carry it to the base if necessary.
- Check the station’s right-edge placement, clockwise orientation toward the work area, clear approach, QR-code view, contacts, and firmware.
- Check the station indicator, reconnect its supply or try another socket if it is off, and remove stones, soil, and uneven ground around the base.
- Clean a camera that reports Camera blocked!; if a low-voltage battery error persists after emergency charging, verify the model before replacing the battery.
- If the mower remains locked, reconnect it to the originally paired Wi‑Fi network or contact Worx Customer Service.
When to contact Worx
Contact Worx after documenting the exact display message and completing the relevant checks when the station has no indicator despite a secure supply and alternate socket, the battery error persists after emergency charging, the camera remains blocked after cleaning, or a correctly positioned and powered base still cannot be recognized. Include the mower’s exact WR model, whether the failure occurs in one location or everywhere, the battery temperature conditions, and whether app firmware updating was attempted. That information helps separate a setup correction from a confirmed hardware fault.
