To complete “The Convoy,” clear the bridge defenders, lower the bridge from its control room, escort the convoy, defeat the Reaver, then clear the lower deck and defend the upper control room. The chapter ends when Trench appears during the final defense and the cutscene begins, leading into “Desperate Times.”

Clear the raised bridge
Advance between cover and prioritize the Locust operating the mounted miniguns on the second floor; their fire can pin your squad. Eliminate the remaining defenders. Once the area is clear, the blue door opens.

Lower the bridge and repel the counterattack
Go through the blue door and activate the control console. Return outside along your entry route and fight off the Locust counterattack. You can use the mounted minigun, but fire in short bursts because it overheats quickly.

Move the convoy
Go down and speak to Tai, then walk with the lead vehicle. The route ends at a dead end, where a Reaver ambushes the convoy.

Defeat the Reaver
Shoot the glowing weak points on the Reaver’s body until it is defeated. This clears the convoy’s immediate obstacle.

Drop to the lower deck and return by zipline
After the bridge finishes lowering, use the opening on the left to drop through the floor. Clear the Locust below, then take the zipline back up to regroup with the convoy.

Lower the barriers and hold the control room
Near the barbed wire, climb onto the small truck to reach the upper control room. Activate its console to lower the barriers, then defend against the final Locust wave. Trench’s appearance triggers the ending cutscene and completes the chapter.

One guide spells the final surname “Gabor”; two others use “Garbor.” This walkthrough uses “Garbor.” The three-item total is reported by NightlyGamingBinge in 2026 and is also reflected in guides from GamersBeacon and TechWiser.

Published chapter guides give conflicting totals: NightlyGamingBinge reports six Hard Cases, Patch Crazy lists five, and AllThingsHow says there are none. The total is therefore uncertain based on those guides; treat the following as reported landmarks rather than a confirmed complete list.
- At the convoy return.
- Down the steps in the left courtyard.
- Under a military truck near the control room.
- On the bridge before the drop to the lower level.
- On crates along the lower deck.
- Inside the upper control room, after climbing through the window.
Patch Crazy corroborates several early-bridge and lower-deck locations, but its list has a different count and appears to misidentify the final COG Tags entry as Rudy Bartholomew.

What opens the route and ends the chapter
- Clearing the first bridge encounter opens the blue door.
- The first control console lowers the bridge; a later console lowers the barriers.
- Defeating the Reaver lets the convoy move past the ambush.
- The lower-deck encounter ends with a zipline back to the upper deck.
- Trench appearing during the final defense starts the cutscene that closes the chapter.
