Start with Rickman’s shop in Rostok: open his trade window and look for the Self-Loading Infantry Carbine (SIC). If it is not in stock, check traders at the Water Treatment Facility and Chief’s Bunker. These locations are reported by current guides, but stock is not guaranteed in every player’s game.

Rickman in Rostok

Confirm Update 2.0 is installed. The standard SIC is one of the weapons associated with that update, and the cited guides say it does not require the Cost of Hope expansion.

Search the trade inventory for “SIC” or “Self-Loading Infantry Carbine.” Older Update 2.0 references used “SKP” for the same weapon, so that name may appear in older guides.

Check Rickman first, then inspect the Water Treatment Facility and Chief’s Bunker traders. The guides report these locations but do not establish a guaranteed stock schedule or comparable availability odds.
The standard SIC and expansion-specific unique weapons are separate acquisition cases. Do not assume that buying the expansion is necessary for the standard rifle, or that a hidden unique variant is a guaranteed substitute.

Nerd’s Chalk’s Aug. 21, 2026 guide describes the SIC as a semi-automatic designated marksman rifle and lists its ammunition as 7.62×54. Its stat card reports the following in-game values; they are figures reproduced by that guide, not an independently confirmed dataset.
