Start with the ATP Tour’s official TV Schedule. Find the tournament under the correct tour tier, then match the listed geographic area to your country. If the ATP has published an event-specific “how to watch” page, use it to confirm the regional options. Finally, check the broadcaster’s own live schedule for the channel or stream and access conditions. Recheck shortly before the match because rights, channels and schedules can change.
Why finding the right ATP broadcaster takes more than a channel search
An ATP tournament can have different official broadcasters in different countries. A provider listed for one territory may have no rights in the next country, and a broadcaster associated with one tournament tier may not carry another. The ATP’s listings also contain event-specific qualifications, such as a provider that applies to Masters events in Canada only. Treat the country, tournament and tier as a three-part match.
Search results, old articles and television listings can remain visible after rights change. The ATP Tour’s own schedule is the best starting point for the tour’s published broadcaster information, while the broadcaster’s current schedule is the final practical check for a particular match.

The step-by-step method
1. Identify the exact tournament
Write down the event’s official name and edition. Several tournaments may be played in the same month, and a city can host different events in different seasons. If the event name is commonly shortened, confirm the full name on the ATP Tour website or the tournament’s ATP page.

Also identify the tour tier:
- ATP Masters 1000: the highest regular tournament tier below the year-end ATP Finals.
- ATP 500: the next tier, with its own rights listings in many markets.
- ATP 250: the third regular tier, which may use different regional partners.
Do not assume that a broadcaster listed for an ATP 500 also covers an ATP 250 in the same country. The schedule is organized by tier precisely because rights can differ.
2. Open the ATP Tour TV Schedule
Go to the ATP Tour TV Schedule. Choose the section for the tournament’s tier, then read the geographic-area headings and the broadcaster names beneath them. The page includes notes for particular tournaments and territories, so read the complete row or paragraph rather than stopping at the first provider name.
Use your browser’s find function for the tournament, country or area label. If the page is long, first jump to the relevant tier and then search within that section. Record the exact wording of the entry, including qualifiers such as “Canada Masters only” or an area grouping that names several countries.

Read geography literally. A listing for “Canada” is not a listing for the United States, and a regional heading covering several countries does not automatically include every nearby territory. If your country is not named, look for a clearly defined regional group; do not infer coverage from language, neighboring geography or a provider’s general availability.
When you use a virtual private network, roaming connection or an account registered elsewhere, the applicable rights can still depend on your actual location and the provider’s terms. The ATP listing is territorial, so use the country where you will watch.

4. Look for an event-specific “how to watch” page
Search the ATP Tour site for the tournament name plus “how to watch.” An event page can provide a cleaner list of regional broadcasters than the general schedule and can reflect a particular edition’s arrangements. For example, the ATP’s Rome 2026 how-to-watch guide, published in May 2026 according to its search-result metadata, presents broadcast options by worldwide area.
Compare the event guide with the general TV Schedule. If the two pages appear different, favor the newer event-specific information but check the page dates and any notes. The schedule can be updated as rights information is confirmed, and an event guide may be limited to that tournament edition.
5. Verify the broadcaster’s current event schedule
Open the provider named by the ATP and search its schedule for the tournament, date and round. This check answers practical questions that an ATP rights list may not: which channel carries the match, whether the feed is television or streaming, whether a separate sports package is required, and what local start time is shown.
Provider schedules can use a different event name or list a session rather than an individual match. Confirm the date, venue and round before concluding that a listing is missing. Access requirements and prices are provider-specific and are not established by the ATP schedule, so consult the provider directly for those details.
6. Consider Tennis TV, but confirm availability
The ATP describes Tennis TV as its official live and on-demand service. Its TV Schedule states: “Live stream the ATP Tour on Tennis TV, watch matches live or on demand in full on your computer, mobile or smart TV.” Read that as a description of the service, not proof that every match is available in every country.

Check the current event listing for your territory before relying on Tennis TV. The ATP’s apps page provides the official service description, while the schedule at https://www.atptour.com/tournaments/tv-schedule contains the quoted service wording. Regional broadcast agreements can affect whether a particular event is offered there.

How to read an ATP broadcaster listing

The most important habit is to keep all three identifiers together: event, territory and tier. A broadcaster name by itself is not enough evidence.
Territorial exceptions you should not overlook
The ATP schedule explicitly marks Rogers Sportsnet as “Canada Masters only” in the relevant listing. That wording has two limits: it points to Canada, and it applies to Masters events. It does not establish coverage for ATP 500 or ATP 250 tournaments, nor does it establish coverage outside Canada.
Apply the same discipline to every qualifier:
- Country restriction: use the provider only in the named country or region.
- Tier restriction: apply the listing only to the tier shown in the schedule.
- Event restriction: an entry may be valid for one tournament but not the rest of the calendar.
- Edition restriction: rights can change from one year to the next, even when the event keeps the same name.
If a provider appears in a neighboring territory or under a different tier, return to the ATP page rather than filling the gap with an assumption.
Using an event-specific guide: the Rome 2026 example
The Rome 2026 guide demonstrates why an event page can be useful after you find the general schedule. It organizes the tournament’s broadcast information by worldwide area, allowing a reader to look for the country or regional group that applies to them. Use the guide as an event-level cross-check, not as a permanent list of ATP rights.

- Open the Rome guide and confirm that you are reading the 2026 edition.
- Locate your country or the exact regional heading that includes it.
- Note every provider named for that area, including any channel or platform wording.
- Compare the result with the tier listing on the general TV Schedule.
- Check the named provider’s own schedule for the Rome session you want to watch.
The same process works for another tournament when the ATP publishes a comparable guide. If no event-specific article exists, use the general TV Schedule and the tournament’s official ATP page as your primary references.
A tournament-page example: Croatia Open
The ATP tournament page for the Croatia Open includes a “Broadcast and Streaming” page naming HRT as the official national broadcaster for that event. This is an example of an event-level statement: it identifies the broadcaster for that tournament and national market, but it should not be expanded into a claim about every ATP tournament in the country or every edition without checking the current page.
When a tournament page supplies a national broadcaster, use it alongside the ATP TV Schedule. The schedule helps you understand the tour-level listing; the event page can identify the local partner for that specific competition.

What to do when you cannot find your tournament
The event is not visible in the schedule
- Check that you selected the correct tier; a 250 event will not appear in a Masters section.
- Search the ATP site for the full event name and “how to watch.”
- Check whether the event page uses a sponsor or venue name different from the name you searched.
- Confirm the edition year. An older guide may describe rights for a previous tournament.
Your country is not listed
- Look for a regional heading that explicitly includes your country.
- Check the event-specific guide for a broader worldwide-area list.
- Review the tournament’s own broadcast page if one exists.
- Do not treat a provider in a neighboring country as an official option for you without an explicit territorial statement.
The provider is listed, but the match is absent
- Search the provider’s schedule by tournament, date, round and venue.
- Check whether the provider lists a session, court or daily block instead of the individual match.
- Re-read the ATP qualifier for a tournament-only or tier-only restriction.
- Look for a later ATP update or event-specific guide; broadcast details can be revised close to play.
The stream is unavailable at match time
First verify that your account location and viewing location meet the provider’s rules. Then check whether another option listed for your territory carries the event. If the ATP page identifies only one provider for your area, contact that provider for an access explanation; do not substitute an unlisted service merely because it shows the same tournament name.
When to check and recheck
Rights information is time-sensitive. Make an initial check when you decide how to watch, then repeat it near the match date. A practical schedule is:
- Several days or weeks ahead: identify the official provider from the ATP TV Schedule and note any event-specific guide.
- Before arranging access: confirm that the provider covers your country and the exact tournament tier.
- The day before play: inspect the provider’s schedule for the channel, stream and local session time.
- On match day: check for a schedule change, court reassignment or updated start time.
This process avoids relying on an old article, an international listing that excludes your country or a provider that covers a different ATP tier.
