To use an Aniimo Face Code, open the character customization editor, choose Import Face Data, enter the typed Face ID or scan the offered QR option, preview the result, and confirm only after checking the current cost. Face Codes transfer a character’s appearance—not creatures, story progress, currency, account access, or other rewards. The workflow below follows current independent player guides; menu names, prices, and compatibility can change with the client.
What an Aniimo Face Code actually contains
An Aniimo Face Code is a player-shared package of character-appearance data. Depending on how the creator publishes it, the package appears as a typed Face ID, a QR image, or both. The code gives another player a starting point for recreating the same look in the character editor.
That makes a Face Code different from a promotional or gift code. A reward code may grant items or currency; a Face Code is intended for cosmetics. Aniimo List describes the shared data as appearance information and says it does not import a creator’s creatures, story progress, currency, or account. That is an independent guide’s explanation rather than a published official guarantee for every client version, so treat the code as a look-transfer tool, not a save-file transfer.
A good post normally includes a readable Face ID or QR image, a screenshot of the finished character, and notes from the creator. The screenshot lets you judge the result before opening the editor, while the notes can identify the game version, region, server, or any appearance-editing charge the creator encountered.

Check your account, server, and client first
Before importing anything, make sure you are signed in to the account and server that contain the character you intend to edit. One current independent guide warns that an unexpected character-creation screen can appear when a player uses a different sign-in method or server. If the expected character is missing, stop and correct the account or server selection before importing a design.
Aniimo’s official launch notice states that the game launched on Windows PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox on September 16, 2026. The same notice lists mobile availability for September 23, 2026, and says PC and mobile share account data. Shared account data does not, by itself, prove that a particular Face Code works on every platform or in every region.

AniimoDex’s September review likewise reported that the official material it checked did not provide a compatibility matrix. Plan on compatibility being conditional until the game publishes one.

AniimoShare
AniimoShare has a public Face Codes area designed for browsing and copying player creations. Its site says you can browse without an account. Discord sign-in is required to publish, comment, like, or bookmark a design. Entries can show a preview screenshot and creator notes, which are more useful than a bare string copied without context.
AniimoShare also states that submissions are independent fan content, not official game content. Use the page to discover a design, then verify the code in the in-game preview before committing it to your character.

Reddit and other player posts
The Aniimo community on Reddit is another place where players request and post appearances. Phrases such as “Can you share the character code?” and “anywhere designated for people to share their characters face codes?” describe common requests, not an official support channel or a verified preset library.
A September 2026 discussion includes one player reporting that a code produced an error in another region. That is a single anecdote, not evidence of a universal region lock, but it is a reason to record the creator’s region, server, and version whenever they are available.

- Prefer a post that contains both a readable Face ID and an uncropped QR image.
- Compare the screenshot with the character shown in the editor’s preview; a title or thumbnail alone is not proof that the code matches.
- Read the creator’s notes for platform, region, server, game version, and any stated edit cost.
- Be cautious with screenshots that show only a portrait. A portrait is visual reference, not import data.
- Do not treat a code as verified merely because it has likes or comments; community engagement does not establish compatibility.
Import a Face Code step by step
The exact icon placement and controller prompts can vary. Follow the labels shown by your current client rather than a video recorded on another platform.
- Open the correct character. Confirm the account, server, and sign-in method before entering the appearance editor.
- Enter character customization. Look for the editor’s face or appearance controls. Independent guides identify the relevant command as Import Face Data.
- Choose the import command. Select Import Face Data and follow the on-screen prompt. A player report places an import icon in the editor, but the location and controller shortcut may differ.
- Supply the code. Type the Face ID exactly as provided, or select the client’s QR option and present the original QR image. Avoid retyping from a compressed screenshot when a copied ID is available.
- Preview before accepting. Inspect the complete result in the preview. Check facial proportions, hair, skin tone, eyes, makeup, and any other visible settings that matter to you.
- Read the confirmation screen. The client may display a charge or a warning. The reviewed guides do not establish a stable universal price, so do not assume that importing is free or that a price seen by another player applies to you.
- Cancel if anything is wrong. If the preview is not the intended design, or the cost is unexpected, back out before confirming.
- Confirm and save only when satisfied. Accept the import through the client’s confirmation control, then wait for the editor to finish saving before leaving the screen.
If you cannot find the command, check every page of the appearance editor rather than a general account menu. The terminology used by current guides is Import Face Data; your platform may expose it behind an icon or a different controller button.
Save your own appearance before experimenting
Export your current face data before trying another player’s design. The editor’s export or face-data sharing option should produce a typed ID, a QR image, or both. Save the export outside the game with a preview image so you can identify it later.

Use a small record for each design:
- Face ID: preserve the exact characters, including capitalization and any separators shown by the client.
- QR image: keep the original, uncropped image at its original resolution.
- Preview: capture the finished look from the same export.
- Context: note the creation date, platform, region, server, and game version when known.
- Purpose: label whether it is your active design, a backup, or a design you are testing.
Keeping the ID and QR together prevents a common mistake: saving a screenshot of a character and later assuming it contains import data. If you are about to test several designs, export first and confirm that your backup can be read before changing the active appearance.

From the character customization or design area, use the export or face-data sharing command. Post the resulting typed Face ID or QR image with a matching character preview. Aniimo List describes both formats, while AniimoShare encourages a screenshot and creator notes; supplying all of them gives recipients a way to verify what they are importing.
Include the context that can affect compatibility:
- the game version used when the design was exported;
- the platform or client where you created it;
- the region and server, if the client exposes them;
- whether the image is the original QR or a crop;
- any appearance-editing cost shown by your confirmation screen.
Do not publish account credentials, sign-in links, recovery codes, or a request to scan a QR outside the game. Aniimo’s official launch notice, signed “The Polaris Institute Team,” warns: “Never share your account, scan unfamiliar QR codes, or click unofficial links—scams are out there.” Use a Face Code QR only inside the in-game editor. A third-party page should never ask for your Aniimo password in order to display a cosmetic design.
Why a code may fail, and what to do
The Face ID is rejected
Check for copied spaces, missing characters, and look-alike letters or numbers. Ask the creator for a fresh export instead of manually repairing an uncertain string. Also ask which game version and region/server produced it. If the ID still fails, keep your original appearance intact and report the exact message through official support.
The QR code will not scan
Use the original, uncropped QR image at a higher resolution and remove overlays or chat compression if possible. A portrait screenshot cannot substitute for the QR data. If scanning remains unreliable, request the typed Face ID and enter it manually.

The client says “Face is already in usage”
The checked independent guide reports no confirmed fix for this message. Do not delete a character, unlink an account, or overwrite your backup while trying random workarounds. Preserve the existing design and send the exact error, your platform, server, region, and version to official support.
A charge appears that you did not expect
Cancel before the final confirmation and inspect the amount shown by your current client. The available guides do not provide a reliable, universal price table, so a cost reported by another player may be outdated or tied to a different client state.
The creator is in another region or on another version
Ask for the code’s region, server, platform, and version. One Reddit user reported a cross-region error, but that single report does not establish a universal restriction. Because no official compatibility matrix is documented, treat a mismatch as a plausible cause and keep your own export available while testing.
The import opens the wrong character screen
Return to the account and server check. An unexpected creation screen can result from another sign-in method or server, according to an independent guide. Correct that selection before attempting another import; importing on the wrong character can create confusion about which design was changed.

Costs, limits, and what is not documented
Current guides instruct players to read the confirmation screen and save only after verifying the desired result, but they do not establish a stable universal appearance-change price. The amount can therefore be client-dependent, version-dependent, or subject to change. Check the live screen every time rather than relying on a post, video, or remembered price.

The official launch notice confirms platform availability and PC/mobile account-data sharing, not Face ID or QR behavior. It does not promise that a code transfers across regions, servers, platforms, or versions. Likewise, the independent sources reviewed do not publish an import-success rate, a count of available codes, or a complete compatibility table. Avoid treating an individual successful import as proof that every player can use the same code.
A practical sharing format
A clear post separates the information needed to identify a design from the data needed to import it. Put the preview first, then the typed ID and QR image, followed by the context. A concise structure is:
Character preview: [attach matching screenshot]
Face ID: [paste the exact exported ID]
QR: [attach the original QR image]
Platform: [state the client]
Region/server: [state when known]
Game version: [state when known]
Notes: [mention visible differences or the confirmation-screen cost]The bracketed fields above are labels for a post, not values to enter in the game. Replace them with your actual export and details, and never include account credentials.
Final pre-confirmation checklist
- You are on the intended account, character, and server.
- The Face ID was copied exactly or the original QR image is available.
- The preview matches the design you meant to import.
- The confirmation screen’s cost and warning are acceptable.
- Your current appearance has already been exported and backed up.
- The creator’s platform, region/server, and version are recorded when known.
- No account information is being entered on a third-party page or scanned from an unfamiliar link.
With those checks complete, Face Codes are a convenient way to exchange appearance designs while keeping progression and account data separate. Treat every community code as an unverified player submission, verify it in the editor, and retain your own export before making changes.
