Search Google Maps for “gas stations”, open a station’s listing, and check its Business Profile for fuel-price information. Google says gasoline prices appear in some station profiles, but its help pages do not promise prices for every station or fuel grade.
Find stations and check their prices

Open Google Maps and search for “gas stations”. To narrow the results, search for a specific station brand or add a town, city, or other place name. Google’s Android guidance supports searches by place category, and its price guidance also recommends searching for gas stations or a brand.

Select a result or map pin to open the station’s details. Look in its Business Profile for fuel-price information. A price may not appear directly on every map pin.

Compare only prices that are actually shown, and check that the listing identifies the fuel type you need. Google’s guidance does not establish that displayed labels always correspond to your preferred grade or that Maps offers a universal sort-by-price option. Confirm the station details before driving.

Check a stop in CarPlay
In Google Maps on CarPlay, add a stop and inspect its details; those details can include gas prices. The Google help page lists an iPhone 5 or later, iOS 12 or later, Google Maps 5.24 or later, and a CarPlay-supported car as requirements. Google Maps Help says gas stations show current gasoline prices in their Business Profiles on Maps and Search. That does not mean every station listing or every fuel grade will have a price. A missing figure is not proof that the station has no fuel, and it does not necessarily mean your search failed. Google’s reviewed help does not specify a price-update interval or a geographic coverage list, so treat a displayed price as information to check—not a freshness guarantee.

What to do if a price is wrong
Google’s help page directs users to contact OPIS about incorrect gas prices. The guidance does not promise that a report will result in a correction, and it does not describe a complete process for adding a missing price through the Business Profile.
