The confirmed event is RADAR Festival 2027 at Magna in Sheffield, running 30 July–1 August 2027. RADAR’s official announcement names Mick Gordon as a headliner for a live performance of the DOOM soundtrack, with his DOOM Machine, a live band and an orchestra. The festival says tickets are on sale through its own ticket page.
RADAR has not yet published Gordon’s individual festival day or set time in the official material reviewed as of 13 October 2026. Buy a weekend ticket if you want to remove that day-selection risk, or wait for the official running order before buying a day ticket. Do not treat a search-result snippet, an unofficial listing or another performer named Mike Gordon as confirmation.

What RADAR has actually announced
RADAR describes Gordon as a 2027 headliner and presents the booking as the first live performance of the DOOM soundtrack in this announced format. The advertised production is more than a playback of game audio. The festival says it will combine the DOOM Machine, a full live band and a live orchestra.
RADAR’s announcement emphasizes the distinction with the line, “This isn’t a DJ set, pressing play on a laptop.” That is promotional wording from the festival, not a personal quote from Gordon. It is useful for understanding the intended production, but it does not establish the running order, the length of the set or the day on which it will take place.
How to find the official announcement and ticket page
- Start at RADAR Festival’s official website. Use the festival’s homepage rather than a general event calendar. Locate the RADAR 2027 announcement that names Mick Gordon and references the DOOM soundtrack.
- Check the identity in the announcement. Confirm that the listing says “Mick Gordon,” includes the DOOM soundtrack and identifies RADAR Festival 2027 in Sheffield. This prevents a search result for Mike Gordon, a different performer, from being mistaken for the concert you want.
- Follow RADAR’s own ticket link. The official ticket page is the authoritative place for the available ticket types, price displayed at the time of purchase, payment terms and remaining inventory.
- Read the ticket type before selecting it. The page distinguishes weekend tickets from day tickets. A ticket label alone does not tell you whether Mick Gordon is scheduled for that date; only the festival’s published running order can do that.
- Recheck the page immediately before payment. Availability, prices and payment or installment terms can change. Do not rely on an old screenshot, cached page or a search snippet that shows a previous amount.
If a result sends you to a reseller or an article that does not identify RADAR Festival, return to the festival’s own homepage and navigate to the ticket page from there. This keeps the purchase path tied to the event that actually announced Gordon.

Is Mick Gordon playing on a particular day?
Not yet, according to the official material reviewed as of 13 October 2026. RADAR confirms the overall festival window of 30 July–1 August 2027, but the announcement and homepage do not assign Gordon to a specific date or publish a set time.
Headliner status is not a substitute for a schedule. It does not prove that Gordon will play the opening day, closing day or a particular evening. Do not infer a performance date from the order of names on a poster, the festival’s date range or an unofficial article.
The practical rule is simple: before buying a day ticket, find Mick Gordon in RADAR’s official running order and confirm the date shown beside his name. If the running order is not published, a day-ticket purchase cannot be validated against his set.
Weekend ticket or day ticket?
The right choice depends on whether you need certainty before the schedule is released. RADAR’s ticket page says weekend tickets are on sale. It also says day-ticket release is expected after the remaining headliners are announced, so day-ticket availability and timing can change.
| Option | What it gives you | Main risk or limitation | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekend ticket | Access across the 30 July–1 August festival period, subject to the ticket’s stated terms | You pay for a multi-day festival even if you mainly want Gordon | Fans who want to avoid guessing his performance day or who also want the wider lineup |
| Day ticket | Admission for one festival day, if and when RADAR releases that option | The correct day cannot be selected until the official running order identifies Gordon’s date; availability may be limited | Fans who only want one day and are willing to wait for the schedule |
Do not assume that a day ticket bought before the running order is published includes Gordon. The safe sequence is to wait for the official date announcement, match the date to the ticket listing, then purchase while that ticket remains available.

A precise ticket-buying workflow
1. Establish the event you are buying for
Write down the identifying details before opening checkout: Mick Gordon, the DOOM soundtrack, RADAR Festival 2027, Magna in Sheffield and 30 July–1 August 2027. If a listing omits several of these details, treat it as unverified until you can trace it back to RADAR’s official site.
2. Open the live RADAR ticket page
Use the link reached from RADAR’s current homepage or announcement. Read the page itself, not just the wording displayed by a search engine. The festival’s own page is where “on sale” status, ticket categories and current checkout conditions are maintained.
3. Decide whether date certainty matters more than price or flexibility
If seeing Gordon is the sole reason you are attending, do not choose a day ticket until the running order confirms his date. If you can attend any day, or want the complete festival, a weekend ticket avoids the unresolved scheduling question. The choice is yours; RADAR has not published a Gordon-specific day in the reviewed material.

When RADAR publishes a schedule, check the artist’s full name and the date together. Save the schedule version or take a personal note of the date shown at purchase time. A lineup poster without stage times may still leave the exact set time unresolved, so keep checking for later timetable updates.
5. Review the checkout summary
Before entering payment details, confirm the event name, ticket category, quantity, displayed total and any stated payment schedule. RADAR’s ticket page includes time-bound payment information; an amount quoted elsewhere may no longer apply.
6. Complete payment only on the official checkout route
Check that the checkout follows from RADAR’s ticket page and that the event details remain consistent. Keep the confirmation email, order reference and the ticket provider’s stated entry instructions.
7. Revisit the official site after buying
Festival schedules can be updated after tickets are sold. Monitor RADAR’s homepage, announcement and schedule pages for the final day, set time, stage information or operational changes. Your ticket confirmation proves what you bought; it does not replace later event notices.
How to avoid common search mistakes
Confusing Mick Gordon with Mike Gordon
Broad searches can return tour dates for Mike Gordon. Compare the full name, the DOOM soundtrack reference and RADAR Festival before trusting a result. A page that mentions only “Gordon” is not sufficient identification.

Trusting a search snippet as a ticket quote
Search snippets can preserve old wording or payment amounts. RADAR’s live ticket page controls current prices, inventory and terms. Use snippets to locate the official page, not to establish what you will pay.
Assuming the headline position supplies a date
A headline announcement confirms the booking, not the day or set time. Wait for the official running order before matching a day ticket to Gordon.
Using an unofficial event listing as the primary source
Third-party calendars may copy dates, omit updates or attach the wrong performer. If a listing conflicts with RADAR, treat RADAR’s current official pages as the controlling source and look for a schedule update there.

Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →What the advertised concert format means
RADAR is promoting a full live presentation built around Gordon’s DOOM soundtrack work. Its description names three components: the custom-built DOOM Machine, a live band and an orchestra. That makes this different from a conventional DJ appearance or a simple soundtrack playback.
The format is a festival announcement, so details such as the final musician roster, orchestral personnel, stage layout, set length and production schedule should not be invented from the headline description. Look for later official updates if those details matter to your planning.
Venue and practical planning
RADAR lists Magna in Sheffield as the venue. The official homepage supplies the venue and Sheffield location information; verify current travel, entry and accessibility instructions separately when you plan your visit, because those operational details can change before 2027.
Hearing protection
RADAR’s FAQ advises hearing protection and says attendees can ask staff for earplugs. Bring suitable concert earplugs if you use them, and ask event staff where complimentary or emergency earplugs are available. Hearing protection is an attendee-safety measure, not a requirement for finding or purchasing a ticket.
Do not buy unrelated items as part of the ticket process
The official announcement and ticket page do not make a physical soundtrack product, game purchase or streaming subscription necessary for admission. Concentrate on the festival ticket and the terms shown in the official checkout.

Costs, availability and payment terms
No fixed ticket price should be treated as permanent. RADAR’s ticket page says tickets are on sale, but the amount, inventory and any installment wording are tied to the live page at the time you buy. Search engines may display an older figure, and a cached article may describe a payment option that has since changed.
Compare the total shown at checkout, not just a headline price. Check whether the selected product is a weekend or day ticket, how many tickets are in the order, and whether the checkout displays a payment schedule or other terms. The official pages reviewed do not establish a universal price, a guaranteed fee level or a final day-ticket amount, so do not budget from an unofficial number.
Day-ticket timing is also conditional. RADAR says day tickets are expected after the remaining headliners are announced. That is an expectation, not a promise that a particular day will remain in stock. If a day category is missing, do not substitute a reseller listing as proof that RADAR has released it.
What to do if the schedule changes
Keep the email confirmation and check the festival’s official updates after purchase. A later timetable may add a stage, move a set time or clarify Gordon’s date. If the published running order changes, read the ticket provider’s current terms and contact the official ticket channel for questions about admission; do not rely on social-media comments to interpret your order.
Because the announcement covers a festival rather than a standalone one-night show, the ticket may grant access to the event period while the performance timetable remains separate. Your confirmation identifies the access product you purchased. Only RADAR’s later schedule can tell you when Gordon is due on stage.
A schedule-and-purchase checklist
- Confirm the artist is Mick Gordon, not Mike Gordon.
- Confirm the event is RADAR Festival 2027 at Magna in Sheffield.
- Use the official festival homepage and its own ticket link.
- Record the confirmed festival dates: 30 July–1 August 2027.
- Check whether the live ticket page offers weekend tickets, day tickets or both.
- For a day ticket, wait for the official running order and match Gordon’s name to a specific date.
- Read the current total and payment terms at checkout; ignore outdated snippets and screenshots.
- Save your confirmation and continue checking RADAR for schedule or event updates.
- Plan hearing protection; RADAR says staff can provide or direct attendees to earplugs.
When to check again
There are three useful checkpoints. First, check now if you want a weekend ticket while RADAR lists it as on sale. Second, check after the remaining headliners are announced, because RADAR says that is when day-ticket release is expected. Third, check again when the running order appears, then verify the day and set time before committing to a day ticket.
Inventory and payment terms are volatile. A ticket that is available today may not be available later, while a day category that is absent today may appear after additional lineup announcements. Use the current official page at each checkpoint rather than carrying forward an old price or assumption.

Several practical details remain open in the official announcement: Gordon’s festival day, his stage, the set start and end times, the final running order, the length of the presentation and the complete list of performers in the band and orchestra. None of those details can be derived safely from the 30 July–1 August date range or from the word “headliner.”

This distinction helps answer two different questions. “When is RADAR 2027?” has a confirmed answer: 30 July–1 August 2027. “What day is Mick Gordon playing?” does not yet have one on the reviewed official pages. Treat the second question as pending until RADAR publishes a schedule that names him beside a date and, ideally, a stage time.
Bottom line for finding the concert
Use RADAR Festival’s official site as the starting point and buy through its own ticket route. The confirmed event is 30 July–1 August 2027 at Magna, Sheffield, with Mick Gordon presenting the DOOM soundtrack alongside a live band, orchestra and DOOM Machine. Because RADAR has not yet stated his individual day or set time, choose a weekend ticket for broad date coverage or wait for the official running order before buying a day ticket.
