The currently documented, map-wide Easter egg hunt is the limited-time Phantom Program in Battlefield REDSEC on Fort Lyndon. It asks squads to explore for hidden intelligence, Easter eggs and access-code fragments while competing with other squads. Electronic Arts says successful deployments advance the larger mystery and can award XP, Weapon Packages and other rewards. The practical answer to “Where are the Easter eggs?” is not a single published coordinate list: you must search areas players normally rush through, inspect unmarked clues and coordinate with your squad.
That activity is separate from Battlefield 6 campaign collectibles and from environmental references reported by players on multiplayer maps. This guide keeps those three categories distinct so you know which clues are officially documented, which require a mission-by-mission collectible guide and which still need verification in the current live build.

Which Battlefield 6 Easter eggs are you trying to find?
“Easter egg” can mean three different searches in Battlefield 6. Identifying the category first prevents you from following the wrong instructions or assuming that a campaign collectible unlocks a REDSEC event.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches| Search | Where it occurs | What you look for | How firmly locations are verified |

| Phantom Program | REDSEC, Fort Lyndon | Hidden intelligence, Easter eggs and access-code fragments tied to event challenges | Officially announced by EA and confirmed by Battlefield Studios; the cited launch guidance does not publish a coordinate-by-coordinate solution |
| Campaign collectibles | Single-player missions | Hidden intelligence documents, dog tags and a toy T-Rex | Mission-specific directions are available in campaign collectible guides |
| Environmental references reported by players | Various multiplayer and REDSEC maps | Objects, visual references and alleged interactions | Community reports only; verify each claim in the current build |
The Phantom Program is the only one of these that EA currently describes as a map-wide, limited-time operation. It should not be treated as a permanent mode. Check the live event and playlist availability in your region before dropping in.

What the Phantom Program is
EA’s Enter Tidal Strike: Battlefield Season 4 Update and Event Guide, published September 14, 2026, says the Phantom Program begins September 15 in REDSEC. The operation takes place across Fort Lyndon and combines exploration, combat, hidden intelligence, Easter eggs and access-code fragments.
Battlefield Studios’ community Q&A confirms that the eggs are not merely decorative references. Players must track them down and solve them as part of the program’s challenge progression. A successful deployment can advance the larger mystery and provide XP, Weapon Packages and other rewards.

That sentence is the key to the hunt. A normal objective marker is not a complete checklist. The event expects players to investigate spaces that are easy to overlook, notice visual or contextual clues and communicate findings rather than sprinting from one marked contract to the next.
What EA officially tells you to do
Stay close to your squad
EA’s first practical recommendation is to remain near your squad. A clue can be difficult to interpret alone, and a second player can watch an approach, confirm an object or help defend the team while someone investigates. Staying together also limits the risk of losing the information when a player is eliminated or forced to redeploy.
Explore routes players normally rush through
Spend time in areas that a typical match treats as transit: side rooms, dead-end paths, interiors near major objectives and overlooked edges of the playable space. The guide does not identify a guaranteed room or landmark, so the useful behavior is systematic exploration rather than repeatedly checking one rumored spot.
Watch for clues that are not marked
Do not expect every intelligence item, interaction or puzzle step to appear as a standard map icon. Compare what you see in the environment with the event’s current challenge wording, inspect unusual objects and record where a discovery occurred. If a clue seems inert, check whether the squad has found a preceding piece or whether the event is available in the current playlist.
Expect competing squads
Other squads are pursuing the same objectives. Searching slowly can expose you to ambushes, while moving too quickly can miss a clue. Assign one player to security, rotate through cover and avoid assuming that a quiet location is uncontested simply because it is away from the main objective.
A practical Phantom Program search procedure
The following workflow turns EA’s broad advice into a repeatable hunt without pretending that an official coordinate list exists.
- Confirm the event is live. Open the current REDSEC event or playlist information and verify that Phantom Program challenges are available. EA describes the operation as limited-time, so an old menu, video or post may refer to an expired state.
- Read the active challenge text. Note whether the challenge refers to intelligence, an Easter egg, an access-code fragment or a solution step. Use the wording to decide what type of evidence to look for; do not assume every challenge uses the same interaction.
- Form a search role plan. Keep the squad together, but give each player a job: one watches likely approaches, one checks interiors and vertical spaces, and one tracks discovered clues and challenge progress. Swap roles after each area so the security player is not permanently excluded from searching.
- Choose a thorough route through Fort Lyndon. Start with areas your squad would normally cross quickly, then clear nearby side paths and rooms before moving on. The goal is coverage, not a random hunt for a famous landmark.
- Inspect unmarked anomalies. Look for intelligence, unusual props, visual references or interactions that fit the event wording. Check from more than one angle and bring another squad member over before leaving a possible clue behind.
- Record the sequence. Write down the area, nearby landmarks, the order in which clues appeared and what changed after an interaction. Screenshots or clips are useful for your own squad, but an old recording is not proof that the same location still works after a live update.
- Test the access-code progression. When the squad finds a code fragment or puzzle element, compare it with the active challenge state. If nothing advances, confirm that every required fragment or preceding egg has been found instead of repeatedly entering the same partial code.
- Extract or finish the deployment safely. A discovery is only useful if the squad survives long enough for the challenge and reward state to register. Account for rival squads before stopping to inspect another clue.
- Recheck the event panel after the match. Look for challenge advancement, XP or Weapon Package rewards. If progress did not register, note the playlist, time and step that failed before trying the route again.
How to organize a squad search
Fort Lyndon is easier to search when the squad uses a shared vocabulary. Call out a clue by its nearest visible landmark, room type or approach rather than by an uncertain coordinate. One player can maintain a simple sequence such as “fragment one, visual clue, interaction, code attempt,” while another watches the route back to cover. This prevents two players from repeating the same inspection and preserves the order if the challenge requires a preceding step.
Rotate responsibilities between deployments. The player who handled security in one match can lead the next interior sweep, while the recorder confirms whether the event panel changed. This keeps every squad member familiar with the clues and avoids losing the solution if one person disconnects or is eliminated.

Why you will not find an official coordinate list
EA’s September 14 event guide explains the activity and provides tactics, but it does not publish a room-by-room or coordinate-by-coordinate walkthrough. A September 16 guide from The Click likewise reports that the launch notes confirmed the puzzle structure without providing an official coordinate solution. It recommends reproducing locations in the current live build before publishing them as a walkthrough.
That limitation matters because a precise-looking map image can be misleading. Coordinates from an earlier season, an internal test, a different playlist or a changed map state may no longer match what you see. Treat access-code claims and old location posts as time-sensitive leads, not official steps. If a guide presents a complete route, check its publication date and whether the author tested it after the current event update.
How to evaluate community-discovered clues
Players have reported environmental details across Battlefield 6 maps. A Steam Community contributor’s list includes purported references, objects and an alleged Golmud interaction that triggers a yeti sound. These reports can help you decide what to investigate, but they are community claims rather than confirmation from EA or Battlefield Studios.
Use a three-part verification test
- Reproducibility: Can more than one squad member trigger or observe the detail in the current build?
- Context: Does it appear in the active event or is it simply a decorative reference in a normal multiplayer match?
- Persistence: Does it remain after a restart, playlist change or recent patch, or was it seen only once?
Describe a detail as “community-reported” until it passes those checks. Do not present a sound, object or alleged interaction as an official unlock condition unless an EA or Battlefield Studios source confirms it.

The Battlefield 6 campaign includes hidden intelligence documents and mission rewards, according to EA’s New Player Guide to Battlefield 6. Those items belong to single-player missions; they do not constitute the Fort Lyndon Phantom Program and should not be used as evidence that a REDSEC challenge has been completed.
GameSpot’s October 10, 2025 campaign collectible guide reports 30 dog tags and one toy T-Rex, with directions and rewards organized by mission. Use a campaign collectible walkthrough when you want those objects. Load the relevant mission, follow its mission-specific route and track the collectible separately from REDSEC event progress.
Access, editions and what you actually need
Battlefield 6 is the central product for players who want the campaign and regular multiplayer. Before purchasing, check the platform, physical or digital edition, region and current store listing. REDSEC is the setting for the Phantom Program, so do not assume that buying the full game is required for access to that event unless the current official access rules say so. Likewise, do not treat a monitor purchase as part of the hunt: EA’s advice is to adjust field of view for the display and viewing distance you already use.
Availability can change independently of an old guide. Confirm the live REDSEC playlist, the event panel and any regional restrictions before planning a dedicated session. If Phantom Program is no longer listed, archived videos may still explain the concept but cannot establish that its challenges or rewards remain active.

Visibility and setup for a long search
A careful search is easier when your display and camera settings let you inspect interiors without losing peripheral awareness. EA’s player guidance recommends adjusting field of view for your existing monitor and viewing distance. That is configuration advice, not a reason to purchase a new display.
- Choose a field-of-view value you can read comfortably at your normal seating distance.
- Keep brightness and contrast high enough to distinguish objects in shadow without washing out bright outdoor areas.
- Use headphones if possible so a squad member can call out a sound or interaction while another player watches the approach.
- Record the map, playlist and date when you find a clue; this makes later verification possible after an update.
Troubleshooting when a clue does not work
The expected object is missing
First verify that Phantom Program is active in the current playlist. Then check whether the post you followed refers to a previous build or a different map state. Return to the challenge text and search the surrounding route rather than assuming the object has moved to a nearby coordinate.
The interaction appears but progress does not change
Confirm that the squad has completed any preceding challenge step and collected all required fragments. Have another squad member observe the interaction, then check the event panel after the deployment. A single failed attempt is not evidence that a rumored code is correct.

The squad is repeatedly ambushed
Shorten each inspection stop, keep one player on security and clear approaches before the rest of the squad examines a clue. Rival squads are explicitly part of the event’s conditions, so a safe search route is more valuable than a theoretically faster one.
A community video conflicts with your match
Compare its upload date, playlist and map version with your own. If those details differ, label the video as an old lead and retest the claim in the current live build. Do not substitute an unverified route for EA’s confirmed guidance.
What counts as a reliable answer to “Where are the Easter eggs?”
For the live official hunt, the reliable answer is: search Fort Lyndon in REDSEC, stay with the squad, explore normally rushed areas, inspect unmarked clues and solve the eggs as part of Phantom Program challenges. EA and Battlefield Studios confirm that structure, but the public event guide does not provide a complete coordinate list.
If you mean campaign objects, use mission-specific directions for the hidden intelligence, 30 dog tags and toy T-Rex reported by GameSpot. If you mean visual references or unusual sounds in multiplayer, begin with community reports but verify them yourself in the current build and describe them as unconfirmed until reproducible.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Phantom Program permanent?
No. EA describes it as a limited-time REDSEC operation beginning September 15, 2026. Check the current event and playlist menus before relying on an older guide or video.
Does EA publish exact Fort Lyndon coordinates?
The September 14 event guide gives search tactics rather than a room-by-room coordinate list. Treat detailed routes from other sites as time-sensitive until they are reproduced in the current live build.
Do campaign dog tags unlock the Phantom Program?
No. Campaign hidden intelligence, dog tags and the toy T-Rex are single-player collectibles. They are separate from REDSEC’s Fort Lyndon challenges and access-code progression.
What should I do if a clue is not marked on the map?
Use the active challenge wording, inspect nearby side rooms and routes, and bring another squad member to confirm the object or interaction. Record the sequence and check the event panel after the deployment.
Are the Golmud yeti sound and other map rumors official?
They are community-reported leads, not confirmed EA instructions. Verify any sound, object or interaction with multiple players in the current build before calling it an official Easter egg or unlock condition.
Do I need to buy Battlefield 6 to play the Phantom Program?
Do not assume either way. REDSEC hosts the event, while Battlefield 6 includes campaign and multiplayer content. Check the current official access rules, platform, edition and regional store listing.
The Bottom Line
Start with the live Phantom Program listing, then search Fort Lyndon methodically with your squad. Explore routes players rush through, look for unmarked clues, track fragments and challenge order, and expect rival squads. Keep campaign collectibles and player-reported map references in separate categories, and verify every detailed location against the current build.
