To unlock Serpent Breathing in Slayers 2, reach level 25 as a Slayer, unlock Wall Climb, and find Obari on the cliff above Windy Peak. Community guides agree on five Beast Cores, but they disagree on the required Demon Horns and Wen fee. Check Obari’s current dialogue before farming or spending currency.
Where to find Obari
Obari stands on the cliff above the Windy Peak starting area, overlooking the starting village and the Zuko spawn. You need Wall Climb to reach the elevated ledge; Double Jump may also help with the route, though it is described as helpful rather than a Serpent-specific requirement. Once Obari assigns training tasks, the quest marker is reported to point to each training area. If you have not unlocked Wall Climb, do that before setting out for the cliff.
Requirements to check before starting
Community guides report level 25 and the Slayer path as requirements. The general trainer guide says Demons cannot learn breathing styles. These are community-reported requirements, not confirmed developer documentation.

The Serpent guides do not agree on the Horn total or Wen fee, and no official game source in the available material settles the difference. The safest preparation is to bring five Beast Cores, then use Obari’s live dialogue to establish the remaining cost before you commit to a long farm.
How the reported training sequence works
A Serpent-specific community walkthrough describes five mini-games followed by a fight. It says the tasks unlock one at a time and that winning the final encounter unlocks Serpent Breathing. Treat the locations and mechanics below as a walkthrough report rather than developer-confirmed instructions.

- Meditation: At Butterfly Mansion, use the mat in the second room of the large house to the right of the spawn crystal. Click as the moving bar crosses the marker until the meter fills.
- Push Ups: At the push-up mat in the large house, click each circle as its inner ring approaches the edge. The walkthrough says a red aura signals failure.
- Boulder Split: Find the two large boulders between Windy Peak and Mistfall Harbor, then drag each slider to the far end.
- Boulder Push: Enter the maze behind those boulders and push the boulder in the direction shown by the arrow. The walkthrough gives a two-minute limit.
- Aim Training: At the target range near the large house at Butterfly Mansion, click targets as they appear.
- Serpent Trainee: From the Windy Peak shrine, climb the mountain on the right and win the fight.
After the trainee fight, open the Skill Tree and spend skill points to unlock Serpent forms. The walkthrough distinguishes learning the style from purchasing its forms: completing the training unlocks the style, while forms require Skill Tree points.

Where to look for the materials
Guides say Demon Horns drop from demons and Beast Cores from Beast Born Demons. One farming suggestion points to the cave below the Mother Bear area for horns; another points to Beast Demons near Mistfall Harbor’s village gate at night for cores. These are location leads, not guarantees of a drop rate or a particular number of kills. Check Obari’s requirements first so you know what you actually need to collect.

Changing to another breathing style
If you are considering switching away from Serpent later, a general trainer guide reports that changing breathing styles requires a new fee and removes progress on the old style’s forms. Confirm the current terms with the relevant trainer before switching, since this is community-guide information rather than an official policy statement.
