Survival of the Fittest takes you from Kalona Police HQ to a nearby Recruitment Center and back. Follow the route through the station armory and shooting range, rescue civilians from a bus, then collect two items inside the Recruitment Center before escorting the group to the station. There are four collectibles, all close to the main route.
1. Find the armory in Kalona Police HQ
At the start of the chapter, check the tables on the left for the KPD Police Bulletin, the first collectible. Continue through the station and head down to the basement.

When the Rusher grabs you, repeatedly press X to hold it off until Reyes intervenes. Then continue into the armory.

Pick up the Lancer Mk1 and ammunition in the armory. At a firing lane, activate the moving targets. The floor opens and Locusts attack; defeat them before continuing through the station. Headshots are one walkthrough’s tactical suggestion, not a stated requirement.

3. Find the police chief’s badge and leave the station
Proceed to the Tactical Operations room. The Bloodied Police Chief’s Badge is on a shelf beside an officer’s body. Collect it, then continue to the exit.
4. Rescue the civilians at the bus
Clear the enemies in the lot and open the central bus to release the trapped civilians, who will go to the station. If a Rusher pins you or a teammate, follow the on-screen X escape prompt. Afterward, the squad is directed to civilians at the Recruitment Center.

5. Reach the Recruitment Center
Follow Lucas toward the next block. Climb over the car and truck, then turn into the alley at the blockage. Use the dumpster and other available cover while dealing with the Drone and other attackers.
Continue along the route, pick up the Hammerburst, climb the ladder, and pass through the broken window. Clear the enemies outside the Recruitment Center before going in.

6. Collect the final items and return to the station
In the Recruitment Center lobby, go behind the reception counter for the Army Recruitment Pamphlet. The Try On Pilot Helmet is displayed to the right of the counter. Collect both before leaving.
Exit by the right-side route, use the opening beside the road, and continue back to the police station. Reaching the station triggers the chapter-ending cutscene.
