The most efficient Aion 2 Abyss Point (AP) routine is layered: collect predictable Daily Duties and Supply Request rewards first, add weekly and seasonal activities before they expire, then use arena, commissions, events, rifts, or open-Abyss farming only when the expected return justifies the risk. Reward amounts, caps, activity availability, and death rules can change, so use the live activity interface and its tooltips as the final authority.

What Abyss Points are used for

Abyss Points are a progression currency spent in the Abyss Store. Guides describe the store as a source of gear and other advancement items, so AP farming matters even when you are not trying to climb a PvP ranking. The best purchase depends on your character’s build, current equipment, and upgrade bottleneck rather than on a universal shopping order.

One guide recommends buying Stigma Shards first, but that is advice from that guide, not an official priority for every class or account. Check the current store inventory, compare each item with your next upgrade, and avoid spending AP on a resource you cannot use immediately. The AION 2 Help Abyss content guide covers the Supply Request system and Abyss Store in the same overview.

The efficient AP-farming routine

Run the following sequence whenever you log in. It front-loads rewards that are repeatable and relatively predictable, while preserving optional high-risk content for the end of the session.

  1. Open the activity interface. Review Daily Duties, Supply Requests, Command quests, Season Missions, event activities, and any displayed AP limits. Read the current reward tooltip rather than relying on an old guide or remembered value.
  2. Complete available Daily Duties. These are presented by the guides as a predictable baseline. Do them before travelling to the open Abyss, because they do not require you to expose an AP haul to enemy players.
  3. Inspect every active Supply Request. Note whether the request is Emergency, Weekly, Season: Crafting, or Season: Boss, then gather only the listed item type. Turn-ins convert resources into AP and run on different refresh schedules.
  4. Use materials on the board, not on speculation. Do not craft equipment or sell a needed world item until you have checked the active request. A request can require ordinary farmable resources, crafted equipment, or a boss-drop set depending on its category.
  5. Clear weekly and seasonal progress. Add available Command quests and Season Missions to your route. Complete the limited-count or expiring objectives before repeating unlimited activities.
  6. Take available event rewards. Activities such as Shugo Festival can add AP without requiring a winning player-versus-player fight. Availability and reward details are client-dependent, so confirm that the event is active on your character.
  7. Choose a risk tier for extra AP. Arena combat, PvP commissions, rifts, and open-Abyss farming can supplement the baseline. Pick the activity that matches your gear, group support, time, and tolerance for encountering enemy players.
  8. Spend AP deliberately. Visit the Abyss Store after you know which upgrade is next. Keep enough AP for a higher-impact item if your build has an imminent requirement.

Supply Requests: the repeatable AP engine

Supply Requests are the most structured way to turn ordinary play into AP. The current AION 2 Help guide lists four categories:

  • Emergency Supply Requests: use farmable world items and refresh daily.
  • Weekly Supply Requests: use farmable world items and refresh weekly.
  • Season: Crafting requests: use crafted equipment and last for the season.
  • Season: Boss requests: use boss-drop sets and last for the season.

The exact reward and remaining limit are shown on the live request board. The category names and schedules are described in the AION 2 Help guide; they should not be treated as a promise that every future season will use identical items or payouts.

How to decide which request to turn in

  1. Open the Supply Request panel and record the item, quantity, AP payout, and remaining availability.
  2. Compare the request with materials already in your inventory. Prioritize turn-ins that require no expensive purchase or irreversible crafting.
  3. For a crafting request, calculate the equipment cost and whether the resulting item is more valuable for your own progression than the AP payout.
  4. For a boss request, confirm that the set is a surplus drop rather than a piece needed for your character or group.
  5. Submit the request before its displayed refresh or season deadline, then verify that AP was credited.

Emergency and Weekly requests are useful because they fit normal resource farming. Season: Crafting and Season: Boss requests can be larger goals, but they tie up more valuable materials. Treat the displayed AP-per-item result as the relevant efficiency measure for your inventory; a nominally large reward is not efficient if it consumes an upgrade you still need.

Reported AP values and limits

Raid Relay reports figures from global client version 27 data read on October 11–13, 2026. The figures are third-party client-data reporting, not an official published reward table. Use them as planning examples, then verify the number shown in your client.

Activity Reported AP or reward Reported cadence or limit Qualification
Daily Duty 1,000 AP each Reportedly five per day for the server Raid Relay global-client version 27 report; the server wording does not establish an individual entitlement.
Shugo Festival key reward 2,240 AP average for first place Reportedly three per day An average reward reported from the same client-data study; placement and event availability matter.
Verteron Command quest 1,340 AP Reportedly 12 per week for the server Reported cost: 15,000 Kinah per quest; confirm the active limit and price in-game.
Latesran Root Command quest 1,400–2,000 AP Reportedly five per week for the server Reported cost: 15,000 Kinah per quest; the range indicates variable payout.
Weekly Season Missions Up to 94,230 AP Weekly “Up to” is a ceiling reported by Raid Relay, not a guaranteed payout for every character.
Emergency Supply Request 300–6,070 AP Daily refresh Reported range; the item and payout on the active board control your actual reward.
Weekly Supply Request 510–45,580 AP Weekly refresh Reported range; do not assume the maximum is available every week.

Raid Relay says it read global client version 27 data on October 11–13, 2026 and checked some mechanics on its own characters. That detail improves traceability but does not make the figures official or permanent. Patch changes, regional differences, event rotations, and server-wide caps can all change what your character sees. Its full AP-source explanation is at Raid Relay’s Aion 2 Abyss Points guide.

Non-PvP ways to earn AP

You do not have to depend on winning a player fight. The cited guides report several non-PvP or PvP-optional routes, although not every mechanic has been independently confirmed in official documentation.

Daily Duties

Daily Duties are the first activity to check because the guides classify them as predictable. They provide a clear objective and a displayed reward, making them suitable for solo players, under-geared characters, and short sessions. If the client shows a daily limit, finish the remaining duties before spending time on lower-certainty farming.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Command quests

Reported examples include Verteron and Latesran Root Command quests. The reported Kinah cost means their net value depends on your income and on whether the quest consumes time better spent elsewhere. Check the current quest panel for the route, payout, and remaining server or character availability; the figures in the table are not guaranteed personal quotas.

Season Missions

Season Missions can be a major source when their objectives overlap with content you already plan to play. Track the progress bar throughout the season, and avoid leaving a large weekly reward until the final hours. The reported maximum of 94,230 AP is a planning ceiling, not a promise that every mission set or region grants that amount.

Resource turn-ins and monsters

Supply Requests make resource gathering an AP route: farm the world items listed on the active board, then turn them in. Monsters can also appear as a reported AP source through quests or activity objectives. Because the guides do not provide a reliable AP-per-hour rate for every monster area, choose a location based on the current request, travel time, survivability, and competition rather than an invented universal farming spot.

Shugo Festival and rotating events

Shugo Festival is listed as an AP source, with the reported first-place key reward in the table above. Event rules, placements, and schedules can rotate. Open the event panel each day to see whether the activity is available and what the current key or placement reward actually is.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

PvP, arena, rifts, and the open Abyss

PvP commissions, arena combat, and PvP-themed events are reported AP channels. They can be efficient for players who already have the required gear, queue access, and group support, but they are not automatically better than completing predictable duties and requests.

The open Abyss is the highest-uncertainty option because enemy players can interrupt a route and because the current death consequence is not settled by the reviewed material. One guide warns that an open-Abyss death clears accumulated points, while another says global rules are unpublished or unconfirmed and advises checking in-game. Do not assume either outcome. Before carrying a large AP balance into contested content, read the current death and loss tooltip in your client and test the rule only with an amount you can afford to lose.

Risk-based route selection

Route Risk of enemy players Reward predictability Refresh cadence Time or resource cost Availability check
Daily Duties Usually lower than open-Abyss farming; exact encounters vary More predictable when listed in the activity panel Daily, subject to the displayed limit Objective and travel time Check Daily Duties panel
Emergency Supply Requests Depends on where items are farmed Displayed payout is predictable after accepting the request Daily Farmable world items Check active request and remaining count
Weekly Supply Requests Depends on the gathering area Displayed payout is predictable after accepting the request Weekly More items than a daily turn-in may require Check weekly board
Season: Crafting Usually tied to crafting rather than a player fight Displayed payout; material cost can vary Season-length Crafted equipment Check seasonal request requirements
Season: Boss Boss content may include contested or group risks Displayed payout; drop availability varies Season-length Boss-drop sets Check season panel and boss schedule
Command quests and Season Missions Varies by objective and zone Listed reward, but objectives and limits can change Weekly or seasonal Kinah, travel, and objective completion Check quest and season panels
Arena and PvP commissions Direct player combat Depends on participation and outcome As displayed by the activity Queue time, matches, and build requirements Check queue and commission availability
Rifts and open Abyss Higher; enemy encounters and death consequences are unresolved here Less predictable As displayed in the client Travel, survival, and possible recovery time Read current map, activity, and death tooltips

This comparison describes decision factors, not an AP-per-hour ranking. The available guides do not establish a complete, reliable rate comparison across all activities.

Three practical session plans

Short, low-risk session

  1. Review Daily Duties and claim the objectives with the shortest travel path.
  2. Complete Emergency Supply Requests using items already in your inventory.
  3. Advance any Season Mission that overlaps with those duties.
  4. Stop after checking the Abyss Store, or continue only if the client shows a safe event or quest with a clear payout.

This plan suits a new character, a player carrying valuable AP, or anyone who cannot afford a contested-zone interruption.

Full daily session

  1. Complete all available Daily Duties.
  2. Farm the world items required by active Emergency Requests, then submit them.
  3. Play the available Shugo Festival or other event activity.
  4. Progress Command quests and Season Missions while travelling between objectives.
  5. Use arena or a PvP commission if your queue, build, and group are ready.

Do not spend the whole session gathering a material that is not on the active board unless you need it for crafting or another confirmed objective.

Weekly reset plan

  1. At the start of the week, record every Weekly Supply Request, Command quest, and weekly Season Mission.
  2. Reserve the required Kinah, crafted equipment, and boss-drop sets before the final day.
  3. Complete daily activities as they refresh; do not rely on a last-day marathon for server-limited content.
  4. Recheck the board after each reset because item requirements and displayed rewards may have changed.
  5. Spend AP only after accounting for the next weekly or seasonal purchase goal.

How to make the routine more efficient

  • Use the activity interface as a live checklist. It shows what is actually available to your character, which matters more than a static route list.
  • Bundle objectives by location. If a Daily Duty, Command quest, and resource request share a zone, complete them in one trip.
  • Protect expensive inputs. Keep crafted equipment and boss sets needed for your build out of a turn-in until you have compared their progression value with the displayed AP payout.
  • Convert downtime into low-risk progress. While waiting for a queue or group, complete a nearby duty or gather a listed request item.
  • Track server-wide wording carefully. A reported “five per day for the server” or “12 per week for the server” is not evidence that each character receives that many rewards.
  • Set a risk threshold. Decide in advance how much AP you are willing to expose to open-Abyss uncertainty. Bank or spend AP before a risky run if the current client rules make loss possible.

What to do when a reward or activity does not match a guide

The AP payout is different

Check the patch or event context, region, character eligibility, and the tooltip on the active activity. The reported figures are tied to global client version 27 data read October 11–13, 2026; a later update can change a reward without making the older figure “wrong” for its original version.

A Supply Request will not accept your item

Confirm the category and item type. Emergency and Weekly requests use farmable world items, while Season: Crafting requires crafted equipment and Season: Boss requires the specified boss-drop set. Verify quantity, quality, binding status, and the remaining request count shown in the panel.

The activity is missing

Look for a schedule, season requirement, level or quest prerequisite, regional restriction, or server-wide limit. Event and seasonal activities are not guaranteed to be permanently available. If the client does not display an activity, do not assume a guide’s route is currently active.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

You are unsure about death loss

Read the current open-Abyss death tooltip and any warning before entering. The reviewed guides do not establish a definitive global rule: one reports AP loss on death, while another says the rule is unconfirmed. Treat the in-game warning as the operational rule for your current client, and avoid carrying an irreplaceable balance until you understand it.

The route feels slow

Compare the AP shown by the activity with its real cost in travel, Kinah, materials, queue time, and deaths or failed attempts. There is no reliable published AP-per-hour table covering every route, so replace a low-yield activity with the next available duty, request, mission, or event rather than chasing an unverified number.

Where the current evidence is strongest—and where it is not

The consistent practical message across the guides is to combine predictable Daily Duties and Supply Requests with weekly, seasonal, and event content, then use PvP or open-Abyss routes according to your tolerance for risk. AION 2 Guide’s farming overview characterizes Daily Duties and Supply Requests as more predictable and rifts or Abyss farming as higher risk.

The guides also agree that non-PvP options exist, but they are not a complete official rules reference. AION 2 Help’s AP-farming guide lists three broad routes including PvP activities, while Aion2 Guide’s Abyss systems overview discusses regional and system caveats. Neither establishes a permanent reward table, universal cap list, or definitive death-loss rule for every current global-client situation.

Bottom line

For dependable AP, start every session with Daily Duties and active Supply Requests, spend resources only after checking the current board, and finish weekly and seasonal objectives before their limits reset. Add Shugo Festival, Command quests, and Season Missions when available. Use arena, commissions, rifts, or the open Abyss as optional accelerators—not as your only income—after checking the live reward, limit, and death tooltips. Finally, spend AP on the upgrade your character actually needs; a guide’s Stigma Shard suggestion is a starting point, not a rule.
