To download a general copy of your Yandex account data, sign in to the correct Yandex ID, open Your data on Yandex, choose Download data, then select Create archive. Yandex says it will email you when the password-protected archive is ready. If you do not use Yandex Mail, check the data page for its status instead.
That account archive is different from exporting browser files or moving Yandex Mail messages. Use the route that matches what you need: an account-wide archive, browser sync or a local file, or a Mail export through an email client.
Request an archive of your Yandex account data
- Sign in to the Yandex ID that holds the data you want. Check the account carefully if you use more than one.
- Open Your data on Yandex.
- Select Download data, then Create archive.
- Wait for Yandex’s email notification that the archive is ready. If the account does not have Yandex Mail, return to the data page to check its status.
- Use Yandex ID Help for the current instructions on the archive password and opening the file.
Yandex describes this archive as password-protected. The cited English instructions do not specify a guaranteed preparation time, give a complete inventory of included data, or spell out every password-retrieval step. Check the live page and Yandex ID Help for account-specific guidance.
Choose the right export route

Move Yandex Browser data between devices
For transfer or sync rather than a standalone account archive, sign in to Yandex Browser with your Yandex ID and choose which browser data to sync. Yandex lists bookmarks, passwords and cards, autofill, history, tabs, extensions, and settings as transferable data. Its help says copying data to the server may take up to 20 minutes depending on connection speed and the amount of data. That estimate applies to Browser sync, not the account archive above.

Check the active browser profile
If you have multiple Browser profiles, verify which one is active before syncing or exporting. Yandex warns that data, including passwords, could otherwise be shared with the owner of another profile.
Export bookmarks or passwords to files
Yandex Browser can save bookmarks as an HTML file. Passwords can be exported as a password-protected ZIP archive or as CSV. Yandex explicitly warns that the CSV file is unencrypted. Prefer the protected archive when it suits your needs, and keep any exported password file private and secure. Saving a local file to external storage, such as a flash drive, is optional; it is not required to request an account archive.

Yandex Mail documents message export using an email client configured for the account. The Outlook procedure offers export to a PST file for use with Outlook or CSV for another program. In that procedure, enabling Include subfolders exports email, contacts, and calendar as well.

PST and CSV are not universal Yandex Mail export formats: other clients have their own export steps and available formats. Choose a client and output format based on where you plan to use the messages. Follow Yandex Mail’s email-client export instructions for the applicable procedure.
