To earn Yummy in my tummy, cook an expendable creature until it is completely black and the cooking multiplier reads 0, then eat it. For a two-achievement attempt, use a mini-boss as the creature: the guides say eating its burnt body can also meet the condition for Competitive eating.
What you need before you start
- Grill access: NerdsChalk’s 2026 walkthrough says to reach Island 3 and complete the Grillmaster quest by delivering a shark.
- A creature you can eat: For the combined achievement route, the walkthrough recommends a mini-boss summoned with the Beginner Boss Lure. You can instead use an ordinary expendable creature if you only want the burnt-creature achievement.
- Time to watch the cooking cues: The walkthrough describes a normal cooking peak of 1.5× followed by a burnt state at 0. It gives no fixed cooking time, so use the live appearance and readout rather than a timer.
The Island locations, quest sequence, lure price, and cooking readout are reported by a secondary walkthrough, not documented in Steam’s listing. Check the in-game shop and grill if your version differs. Steam confirms that How to Fish is a Dazed Games title and lists Yummy in my tummy among its achievements: Steam listing.
Use a mini-boss for the combined achievement route
1. Unlock the grill on Island 3
According to NerdsChalk’s walkthrough, the Grillmaster quest unlocks the grill after you deliver a shark on Island 3. The game’s Steam listing does not confirm this quest detail.

2. Get the Beginner Boss Lure on Island 2
The walkthrough places this lure in the Island 2 shop and reports a multiplayer price of $40. It describes it as the cheapest mini-boss summon, with beginner encounters including Sunfish or Gammelgäddan. Treat the price and availability as guide-reported details that may change; check the current in-game shop.

3. Summon and defeat the mini-boss
Equip and use the lure, then defeat the encounter. The walkthrough advises bringing a weapon and cooked fish for healing, but does not identify a tested weapon or a guaranteed combat strategy.
4. Keep the body for cooking
Carry the creature to the grill rather than selling it. Use an optional, replaceable target; the sources do not establish the respawn behavior of every creature, so avoid risking a unique story or quest creature needed for progression.

5. Cook it until it is fully burnt
The walkthrough says the cooking multiplier reaches 1.5× at the normal value peak and falls as the creature burns. It says to press F to inspect the multiplier while cooking. For the achievement, do not stop at the normal peak: leave the creature on the heat until it is solid black and the readout is 0. Use both cues together; golden or normally cooked food is not the target.

6. Eat the burnt body
Eat the fully charred mini-boss instead of selling it. The guides say this single eating action can satisfy both the burnt-creature and mini-boss-eating achievement conditions. Steam independently confirms the existence of Yummy in my tummy, but its listing does not detail the unlock steps.

Burnt versus normally cooked: what to watch for
This achievement calls for overcooking, not the usual best-value cooking point. The walkthrough reports 1.5× as the normal cooking peak and 0 as the burnt multiplier. A black appearance plus a zero readout are the stated target cues; the sources do not give a universal timer or frame count.
- At the normal peak: Remove the creature for ordinary food or value; it is not yet burnt.
- For the achievement: Keep cooking past that peak until the body is solid black and the multiplier reads 0, then eat it.
- After it burns: Do not sell it. The walkthrough says it has zero sale value and little healing value, so bring ordinary cooked food separately if you need healing.
What the sources establish
NerdsChalk’s 2026 guide supplies the route, locations, reported price, and cooking cues; a separate achievement guide corroborates the burnt condition and the combined mini-boss idea. Steam’s listing is the primary source for the game’s identity and achievement listing, but it does not verify the detailed mechanics. The game was released on Steam on August 20, 2026, according to that listing. The route and figures here are guide-reported rather than independently tested, and may differ after game updates.
