You can download Facebook Lead Ads submissions as a CSV for a one-time handoff, or connect lead forms to a CRM for ongoing delivery. The CSV route is a manual export; recurring CRM or developer integrations take more setup and need ongoing access and maintenance. Meta’s lead-generation guide describes CRM syncing, while the step-by-step Business Suite export path below comes from a third-party support article and may differ in your account.
Download Facebook leads as a CSV
The following steps reflect a third-party support article modified July 24, 2025. Meta’s relevant help pages were login-gated, so these labels are not independently confirmed for every account, region, role, or interface version. If your Business Suite looks different, use the controls currently shown in your account and consult Meta’s current help documentation.

Open Meta Business Suite for the business or Page associated with the lead form.

Choose More Tools, then Instant Forms.

Find the form whose submissions you need and choose Download.

Select either the option for new leads since the previous download or a date range for a historical export.

Choose CSV, then save the file for spreadsheet review or handoff.

Check that you are in the correct business or Page and have suitable account access. The available sources do not establish a universal role requirement or guarantee that every account displays the same download controls.

Use the route that matches where the leads need to go and who will own the process. Meta’s official lead-generation guide describes syncing leads generated through Meta directly to a CRM and notes Meta Business Partners as a way to make CRM integrations easier. It does not establish that a particular CRM is supported for every account.

Use a CSV for occasional retrieval
A manual export fits a one-off spreadsheet review or a handoff when someone can retrieve and route submissions. The cited instructions allow selecting new leads since the prior download or choosing a date range for a historical export.
Use a CRM or custom integration for ongoing delivery
For repeated delivery, Meta’s guide describes direct CRM syncing. Meta’s developer-maintained Leads Retrieval Set-up & Checker documents technical setup concepts, including app setup, Pages API webhook connections, and lead retrieval through form or ad lead endpoints. This is a developer route, not a promise that a particular configuration is available to every account.
Keep lead retrieval separate from Conversions API data sharing
Downloading submissions retrieves lead information for your use. Meta’s guide discusses the Conversions API as a separate activity: sharing CRM data back to Meta to help optimize toward leads more likely to convert. That downstream measurement and optimization use is not required simply to export a CSV or retrieve leads.
