Check your PC against Steam’s listed requirements
The specifications below are the requirements shown on Steam’s listing, which gives March 11, 2020 as the game’s release date. They are not a guarantee of performance on every PC. In particular, note the substantial difference between the listed minimum and recommended storage.
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 | 64-bit Windows 10 |
| Processor | Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0 GHz | Not stated on Steam’s listing |
| Memory | 4 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| Graphics | Nvidia GTX 460 or AMD HD 5850 or better | Not stated on Steam’s listing |
| DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
| Internet | Broadband internet connection | Broadband internet connection |
| Available storage | 100 GB | 500 GB |
Steam’s page also notes that the Steam client has supported Windows 10 and later only since January 1, 2024. That client-compatibility note is separate from the game’s listed minimum operating systems. If your PC runs Windows 7 or 8.1, verify that the current Steam client works on your machine before relying on the older OS entries in the game requirements.

Choose a control method and distinguish the base game from DLC
Steam lists support for both keyboard and controller. The listing does not establish that specialist rhythm-game hardware is required, so you can start with a supported input device you already own and choose based on your preference.
The store page also lists downloadable song packs and soundtracks separately from the base game. Do not assume those items are included with the main purchase: Steam says the base game is required to use DLC, and DLC is not supported through Steam Family Sharing. Check each product’s listing to see what you are buying.
