A large 1:3 Kratos statue needs furniture, lighting and handling planned around its real footprint and mass—not a standard action-figure shelf. Prime 1 Studio’s current official listing for the Kratos Ultimate Bonus gives approximate dimensions of 95 cm high, 60 cm wide and 61 cm deep, with an approximate weight of 57.6 kg. Measure your finished edition with its chosen weapons installed, then use a rigid, level, load-rated platform, keep it out of direct sunlight and clean the polystone gently with a camera brush, restrained compressed air and water only when necessary.
Start with the real size and weight
The listed 95 × 60 × 61 cm dimensions describe an approximate assembled display envelope, not a guaranteed furniture size. A spear, blade, shield or other swappable accessory can project beyond the base. Measure the exact configuration you intend to display, including the furthest point of every weapon and the route of any LED cable.
The approximately 57.6 kg listed weight is substantial enough to rule out lightweight bookcases, floating shelves with unknown ratings and ordinary display cubes. Prime 1 notes that the piece is handmade and still in development; prototype and final production specifications may differ by up to 10% in size and up to 10 kg in weight. Treat the published figures as planning values, then verify the delivered statue and furniture before final placement.

Choose a platform that can safely carry it
Use a rigid, level shelf, cabinet plinth or dedicated stand whose published load rating comfortably exceeds the statue’s actual weight. The rating must apply to the shelf or surface supporting the base, not merely to the overall cabinet. Check whether the rating assumes an evenly distributed load; a heavy statue concentrated on a relatively small base can stress a weak panel.

Open shelf or cabinet plinth
An open platform provides the easiest access for assembly, inspection and cleaning. Choose a top that is flat and deep enough that the entire base sits on it without an edge overhang. A cabinet plinth can hide cables and provide a broader footprint, but verify the top panel, internal supports and legs rather than relying on a marketing description such as “heavy duty.”
Floor plinth
A floor-standing plinth avoids loading a wall and usually offers a larger footprint. It still needs a verified load rating, a level base and protection from foot traffic, vacuum cleaners, doors and pets. A tall, narrow plinth can transmit more vibration or tip more readily than a broad, low one, so use a stable design and anchor it where appropriate.
Wall-mounted furniture
Wall-mounted shelves save floor space but add two separate requirements: the shelf must carry the load and the wall, fixings and installation must carry it safely. Use the manufacturer’s stated capacity for the installed configuration, identify suitable structural fixing points and follow local building guidance. Do not mount a 57.6 kg-class collectible on an unknown bracket or a fixing selected only for the shelf’s empty weight.

Anchor tall furniture
Anchor tall cabinets or shelving to the wall where appropriate, especially in homes with children, pets or vibration from doors and nearby equipment. Anchoring reduces tip risk; it does not replace a correctly rated shelf or a level base.

Measure before ordering a case or furniture
- Assemble the intended variant on a protected floor. Include the head, hands, shield, weapon or spear and any other installed parts you plan to leave on display.
- Record the maximum height, width and depth. Measure to the furthest protrusion, not just the base.
- Mark cable exits and access points. Note where an LED lead leaves the statue or base and where it must reach a power source.
- Allow handling clearance. You need room to lower the statue into a case or lift it from a shelf without striking the roof, door or side panels.
- Compare those measurements with the furniture’s internal dimensions. For a case, use the clear space inside the doors and shelves, not the external advertised size.
A standard cube-style display case should not be assumed to fit a statue listed at approximately 95 cm high, 60 cm wide and 61 cm deep. An enclosure is suitable only when its internal dimensions exceed the measured footprint and every protrusion, while its shelf and base are rated for the load.

Cases reduce dust and can help with UV control, but they are not automatically safer. A case that is too tight can strike a weapon during installation, block ventilation, pinch a cable or force you to lift the statue at an unsafe angle.
Pick a location that protects paint and parts
Keep direct sunlight away
Sideshow’s polystone-care guide warns that long-term exposure to the sun’s UV rays will cause paint colors to fade over time. Do not place the statue beside an uncovered window, in a sunbeam or where seasonal sunlight reaches the display for only part of the year. Curtains and blinds reduce exposure but are not a substitute for choosing a shaded location.
Avoid rapid temperature changes
Keep the piece away from heating and cooling vents. Air discharged from a radiator, heat pump, air conditioner or fan can create rapid temperature changes and blow dust directly across the paint. A stable room location away from vents is preferable to a spot that alternates between hot and cold air.

Separate the display from traffic
Do not place a large statue where people routinely brush past it, where a door can strike the case or where a vacuum hose can catch a weapon. Leave enough surrounding space to reach the base and inspect the rear without leaning against the figure.
Use low-heat, indirect lighting
For a visible display, use low-heat ambient or cabinet lighting aimed indirectly at the statue. Keep the light off painted surfaces when the display is not being viewed. Evaluate any lamp or strip for heat, UV output, glare and distance from the paint; do not use direct sunlight as the primary illumination.
Assemble detachable parts without stressing them
The listed edition includes swappable heads, hands, shields and weapons, plus LED-lit Mimir eyes. Treat every detachable component as a separate handling task. Assemble over a padded blanket or thick foam sheet on the floor or a low, stable work surface.
- Protect the work area. Remove jewelry and clear the floor so a dropped part cannot strike a hard edge.
- Fit the base first. Confirm that it sits flat and does not rock before adding the body.
- Add the body and large accessories. Support a long blade, spear or other projecting part near its connection point while fitting it; do not use the tip as a handle.
- Install small swappable parts last. Heads, hands and similar pieces are easier to align when the main mass is already stable.
- Route LED wiring without tension. Leave slack at the connection, avoid pinching it under the base and never pull on the wire to move the statue.
- Photograph connector orientation. Take clear pictures before disassembly so each part can be returned to the same position.
Keep the original foam and boxes. The official listing identifies multiple detachable components and notes that shipping may involve two boxes; the original packing is the safest option for a move, return or long-term storage.

Dust polystone with the least force possible
Sideshow product designer Anthony Mestas identifies dust as a primary problem for displayed polystone: dust attracts oils and other airborne contaminants that can eventually discolor a piece if left unchecked. Gentle, repeatable cleaning is safer than an occasional aggressive session.
Routine dusting
- Power down and let any lighting cool. This removes heat and prevents a cable from being pulled while you work.
- Use a clean camera lens brush. Sweep lightly from upper surfaces downward, following contours rather than pressing into seams, decals or joints.
- Use compressed air sparingly. Hold the can or nozzle at a safe distance and use short bursts. Do not spin a loose accessory or drive air into a joint, LED opening or fragile connection.
- Inspect the base and rear. Dust often collects where the statue meets the platform and around cable exits.
A camera lens cleaning brush is the most directly supported first-line tool for detailed polystone surfaces. Keep it reserved for the statue and free of grit; a contaminated brush can drag particles across paint.
When dust is bonded
For dust that will not lift with a brush, use a barely damp, lint-free cloth with water only. Blot or wipe gently over a small area, then dry it immediately with a clean, dry portion of the cloth. Never use harsh chemical cleaners. Do not spray water, cleaner or polish directly onto the statue, base, seams or electronics.
Inspect the statue and display regularly
During routine dusting, check the areas most likely to reveal a problem early:

- Base contact points and any rocking or new gap beneath the base
- Ankles and other narrow load-bearing transitions
- Weapon grips, spear or blade connections and shield mounts
- Head and hand connectors after a part has been changed
- LED cables, plugs and cable exits for pinching or exposed conductors
- Painted seams for lifting, whitening or a change in surface appearance
Stop handling if a joint suddenly feels tight, paint begins to lift, a part shows whitening or wiring is exposed. Do not force the connection or attempt a chemical repair. Consult the edition’s supplied instructions or manufacturer support; edition-specific instructions take priority over general polystone-care advice.

- Strain relief: moving the case door or statue cannot tug the connector.
- Ventilation: the enclosure does not trap heat around the lighting or power hardware.
- Service access: you can reach the connection to switch off or disconnect the LEDs without lifting the statue.
A practical display workflow
- Measure the assembled edition. Record height, width, depth, accessory protrusions and cable exits.
- Select and verify the platform. Confirm a published load rating comfortably above the statue’s actual weight, a rigid surface and a level installation. Anchor tall furniture where appropriate.
- Choose the location. Keep it away from direct sun, windows, vents, radiators, walkways, doors and high-traffic areas.
- Install lighting before the statue. Use low-heat, indirect illumination and keep it off when the display is not being viewed.
- Assemble on padding. Fit the base, body, large accessories and then small swappable parts. Support projecting parts near their connectors.
- Route and test the cable. Follow the final edition instructions; do not rely on an unconfirmed adapter specification.
- Clean gently. Use a camera lens brush first, restrained compressed air second and a water-dampened lint-free cloth only for bonded dust.
- Record the final setup. Photograph connector orientation, accessory placement and cable routing before the first move.
- Inspect during each cleaning session. Stop at signs of tight joints, lifting paint, whitening or exposed wiring.
Moving and storing a heavy Kratos statue
Do not move the assembled piece by its head, weapon, shield, wrist or LED cable. Remove detachable parts in the reverse order of assembly, place each part in its shaped foam and keep the base supported from underneath. Two people may be needed for the main body, depending on the final production weight and the route through your home. The original boxes and foam protect painted surfaces and projecting parts better than improvised blankets alone.
Before a move, clear the route, measure doorways and turns, and decide where the statue will rest between lifting stages. Never leave the statue balanced on a narrow edge or on furniture that has not been checked for the load.

Bottom line for a safe, long-term display
Design the display around the delivered statue rather than a generic shelf: measure every protrusion, use a rigid platform with a comfortably higher load rating, anchor tall furniture where appropriate, and keep the piece away from sunlight, vents and traffic. A correctly sized case can reduce dust and help with UV control, but it must provide clear internal space, ventilation, cable access and adequate support. Gentle camera-brush dusting, restrained compressed air, water-only spot cleaning and careful inspection protect the finish without exposing polystone or electronics to unnecessary force or chemicals.
