The available choices depend on the character. Options Blizzard has described include hairstyles, facial features, skin tones, eye colors, tattoos, jewelry, scars, flowers, and gender. These are examples, not a complete list for every race. Blizzard’s character-creation redesign uses neutral, color-accurate lighting at the Barber Shop to help you judge appearance and color choices (customization announcement; UI design notes).
What can you customize?
Race-specific appearance options
Blizzard has highlighted options such as skin tones, hairstyles, eye colors, tattoos, jewelry, scars, and flowers. Which features appear depends on the character’s race and the options available in the current client; there is no single set of choices that applies to everyone. The Shadowlands customization announcement gives examples of race-specific additions.
