In the original Project Slayers, the reported in-game method is to open the player panel, choose Create Party, enter your friend’s exact Roblox username, and send an invitation. On PC, press M to open the menu; on mobile, press and hold an unused area of the screen away from the movement and action controls. Your friend must accept the invitation.
That game-specific panel is reported by a recent third-party guide, but its current availability is not confirmed by Roblox’s official documentation. Roblox’s original listing also reported no running experiences when checked, so use the platform-level Roblox Party method if the panel or the game itself is unavailable.
What you need before creating the party
Ask your friend for their Roblox username, not merely the display name shown on their profile. The game-specific invitation instructions call for the exact account username, and a spelling or character mismatch can prevent the invite from reaching the intended account. Your friend also needs to be able to accept invitations and join the same experience.
There is an important availability caveat. The original Project Slayers listing identifies M as the menu key, but it reported no running experiences when checked. Roblox also has a separate Project Slayers 2 listing. Do not assume that the sequel uses the same party panel, labels, or controls as the original game.

The steps below therefore separate the reported original-game route from Roblox’s documented Party feature. Try the in-game route only when you are actually in the original experience and can see its menu.
Create a party in Project Slayers on PC
The following labels come from a recent third-party guide checked on 2 September 2026. Roblox’s listing independently confirms the M menu key, but Roblox does not document the game-specific Create Party panel on that listing.
- Join the original Project Slayers experience. Confirm that the title and experience you opened are the original game, not the separately listed sequel.
- Press M. This opens the game menu on PC according to the official listing and the guide.
- Open the player panel. Select the icon that looks like a person or player profile.
- Choose Create Party. This is the game-specific party command reported by the guide.
- Enter your friend’s exact Roblox username. Use the account username they gave you rather than a display name.
- Select Invite. The invitation is sent through the game’s party panel.
- Wait for acceptance. The party is not complete until the invited player accepts the invitation.
If pressing M does nothing, first make sure the game window has focus and that you are in the intended experience. If the player icon or Create Party option is absent, do not substitute instructions from Project Slayers 2; move to the Roblox Party fallback below.

Invite a friend on mobile
The mobile gesture is different from pressing a keyboard key. The guide reports that you should press and hold an unused part of the screen, away from the virtual movement stick, attack buttons, and other touch controls. That gesture is intended to open the same player panel used on PC.
- Open the original Project Slayers experience, if it is currently running and available to you.
- Press and hold an empty area of the screen. Choose a clear spot that does not overlap movement or action controls.
- Open the player-shaped panel icon when the menu appears.
- Tap Create Party. These exact labels are guide-reported rather than confirmed in Roblox’s official game documentation.
- Type the friend’s exact Roblox username and select Invite.
- Have the friend accept the invitation on their device. Acceptance is required before the party is formed.
Touch layouts can vary with device size and game updates. If holding an unused area does not open a panel, check whether the experience is available and use Roblox Party instead of assuming that a control has simply moved.
What to do when Create Party is missing
A missing button can have several explanations: you may be in the separate sequel, the original experience may not currently be running, or the older game-specific panel may no longer be exposed in the current client. The official material available for the original listing confirms the menu key and status, not the continued presence of the game-specific party labels.

Do not keep searching the sequel’s HUD for an identical control. Open the experience details and verify which listing you launched. If the original game cannot be joined, create a platform-level Roblox Party with your friends and launch an available experience together.
Use Roblox Party as the documented fallback
Roblox Support documents Party as a friends-only way to organize co-play across iOS, Android, desktop, and console. It is separate from the reported in-game Project Slayers panel. Roblox says an active Party can include up to six users, and any active member can invite existing friends.
Start a Party from the Chat tab
- Open Roblox and go to the Chat tab.
- Select Start Party.
- Add the Roblox friends you want in the group.
- Select Start. This creates the active Party and its co-play link.
Roblox Party invitations use your existing Roblox friends list rather than an arbitrary username entered into a game-specific panel. If someone is not an existing friend, add them through Roblox first, subject to the account’s communication and safety settings.

Launch an experience with the group
- Open the Party menu.
- Select Play.
- Choose the experience you want to launch.
- Select Join with Party.
Roblox says it finds a server that can accommodate the participants. Experiences that support Roblox’s Party API may place members together or keep them on a team, but those behaviors are not guaranteed for every experience. A Party can therefore organize the launch without guaranteeing a particular in-game squad, server layout, or team assignment.

Which method should you use?

The first method is more direct when the original game’s panel is visible. The second is the documented option when that panel is unavailable or when you need to coordinate through Roblox before launching an experience.

Troubleshoot invitations and joining problems
The friend cannot find the invitation
- Verify that you entered the account username exactly, including spelling and numbers. A display name may not identify the account used for the invitation.
- Ask the friend to check the game’s invitation prompt if you used the in-game panel, or the Roblox Party and Chat areas if you used Roblox Party.
- Have the friend confirm that they accepted the invitation. An invitation that has not been accepted does not complete the game-specific party.
- If the account is not an existing Roblox friend, use the Roblox friendship system before attempting a Roblox Party invite; Roblox Party is friends-only.
The menu or player panel will not open
- On PC, click the game window and press M again. The official original-game listing identifies M as the menu key.
- On mobile, hold a clear area away from every touch control. A press over the movement stick or an action button may be interpreted as gameplay input rather than a menu gesture.
- Confirm that you launched the original experience, not Project Slayers 2. The two listings are separate and their interfaces should not be treated as interchangeable.
- If the control remains absent, use Roblox Party. The game-specific panel is not confirmed by the official listing, and the original experience may not currently be running.
Roblox Party will not let someone join
Roblox says Party communication and invitations can be limited by privacy settings, age, trusted-friend status, and region. The account owner can review the relevant control at Settings > Privacy & content maturity > Communication > Party. Restrictions may prevent a person from receiving or using Party features even when the other members followed the correct steps.
Because Roblox Party is limited to existing friends, check the friendship relationship before changing other settings. If all members can use Party but the chosen experience does not place them together, remember that only experiences supporting the Party API can provide the additional team or same-server behavior Roblox describes.
The original experience cannot be joined at all
The original Project Slayers page reported no running experiences at the time it was checked. In that situation, no in-game party invitation can succeed because there is no active original server to join. Use Roblox Party to coordinate an experience that is available, or wait until the original listing becomes joinable again. Do not infer that the separate Project Slayers 2 experience is a drop-in replacement for the original game’s party system.

Roblox Party is designed for friends, but it is not available without limits. Roblox identifies account privacy controls, age-related protections, trusted-friend status, and regional availability as factors that can affect communication features. If an invitation fails for only one member, compare that account’s settings with the rest of the group rather than repeatedly sending invites.
To review the Party control, open Roblox settings, go to Privacy & content maturity, open Communication, and then choose Party. The account holder can limit or turn off Party there. Any change should be made by the account owner and may still be constrained by age or regional rules.
