To connect Sennheiser headphones, turn on Bluetooth in your phone, tablet, or computer, put the headphones into pairing mode, then choose their name in the device’s Bluetooth list. The button or gesture depends on the exact Sennheiser model, so identify your model before trying a pairing sequence.
Find your Sennheiser model first
Check the label on the headphones, their packaging, or the companion app for the model name. Use Sennheiser’s headband headphones support hub to find the relevant product page and manual. Instructions differ between headband headphones and true wireless earbuds, and may also differ between models in the same product family.

Pair the headphones with a phone, tablet, or computer
- Charge the headphones if needed, and keep them near the phone, tablet, or computer.
- Open the source device’s Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on. Leave the device list open so you can select the headphones when they appear.
- Use the pairing control for your exact Sennheiser model. Follow its manual rather than assuming the power button or a particular button hold applies to every model.
- When the headphone name appears in the Bluetooth list, select it and follow any on-screen prompt. Confirm the connection using the indicator or prompt specified in that model’s guide.
Pairing controls differ by model
HD 450BT
The HD 450BT manual says to press and hold the on/off button for four seconds to start pairing mode. Its instructions for deleting the pairing list use a separate sequence and leave the headphones in pairing mode. See the HD 450BT instruction manual for the full procedure.
ACCENTUM True Wireless
These earbuds enter pairing mode on first power-on. To start it manually, hold both touchpads for at least three seconds, then select “ACCENTUM TW” in the device’s Bluetooth list. The ACCENTUM True Wireless FAQ provides the model-specific steps.

- Around the ear design with padded earcups
- Earpads, headband padding, and audio cord are easily replaceable, ensuring long life
Other Sennheiser models
Do not apply either example above to another model without checking its instructions. Sennheiser’s support hub lists models including MOMENTUM 5 Wireless, Momentum 4 Wireless, HDB 630, ACCENTUM Plus Wireless, ACCENTUM Wireless, HD 450BT, and HD450BT SE. The support hub links to model resources. Bluetooth specifications are also model-specific: for example, Sennheiser lists Bluetooth 5.2 for ACCENTUM Wireless, not as a specification for all its headphones (ACCENTUM Wireless support and specifications).
If your headphones do not appear or connect
- Check pairing mode. Turning on Bluetooth on your phone does not by itself make the headphones discoverable. Repeat the pairing steps for the exact model.
- Check charge. Charge the headphones or earbuds before trying again; the ACCENTUM True Wireless support guidance specifically recommends charging the earbuds before retrying.
- Remove an old pairing. If the source device has a previous entry for the headphones, remove or forget that entry, then put the headphones back into pairing mode and try again.
- Disconnect other devices temporarily. If the headphones may already have an active connection to another device, disconnect it while troubleshooting.
- Restart the source device. Sennheiser support advises restarting the smartphone when connection recovery steps do not work.
For model-specific connection guidance, consult Sennheiser’s headband headphone troubleshooting and cable guidance. If pairing still fails after following the manual, use that model’s support page or contact Sennheiser support.

Resetting is not the same as deleting the pairing list
Do not use a reset as a substitute for pairing-list deletion without checking the model instructions. The ACCENTUM Wireless manual says its 20-second main-button reset preserves pairing settings; deleting its pairing list is done through the Smart Control app. The HD 450BT has its own pairing-list deletion sequence. Consult the relevant instructions before resetting, since procedures and effects vary by model: ACCENTUM Wireless instruction manual and HD 450BT instruction manual.

Do you need an accessory?
No extra product is inherently needed to pair headphones over Bluetooth. If the headphones need charging, use a cable compatible with the model: Sennheiser’s support guidance says current headband headphone models use USB-C and older models use Micro-USB, and directs users to check the product manual. Do not choose a connector based only on the brand or product family.
