Yes. Feedly has a direct integration with Buffer: connect your account, choose the social channels for a story, adjust the post, then add it to your queue, share it, or schedule it. The exact controls may vary by account; Feedly documents a “Share Now” option that Buffer’s integration listing does not mention.
What the Feedly–Buffer integration does
The integration lets you hand off an article you find in Feedly to Buffer for sharing on selected social channels. Buffer lists the integration as active and first-party, and says Feedly’s free plan supports it. Plan eligibility can change, so check Buffer’s current Feedly integration page if availability is important to you.
This is a manual article-sharing workflow: you choose a story in Feedly and send it to Buffer. It is different from adding an RSS or Atom feed inside Buffer, which lets Buffer ingest items from a feed directly.
How to send a Feedly article to Buffer
- Connect the accounts. In Feedly, open settings and integrations and connect Buffer, or select the Buffer icon on a story. Authorize Buffer if prompted. See Feedly’s integration setup instructions.
- Choose social channels. Select the profiles shown for the networks you want to use. Feedly’s instructions describe toggling the profile bubbles in the sharing interface.
- Review and edit the post. Adjust the message, image, and hashtags as needed, and check the post for each selected network before sending it.
- Choose what happens next. Feedly’s help page lists Add to Queue, Share Next, Share Now, and Schedule Post. Buffer’s integration listing mentions Add to Queue, Share Next, and Schedule Post, but not Share Now. Do not assume every account or interface displays the same choices.
Direct sharing or Buffer RSS feeds?
| Workflow | Where you choose content | What it is for | Documented plan detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Feedly-to-Buffer sharing | In Feedly, while viewing a story | Manually send a selected article to Buffer to queue, share, or schedule | Buffer’s listing says Feedly’s free plan supports the integration; confirm current eligibility on Buffer’s listing. |
| Buffer content feeds | In Buffer, from an RSS or Atom feed | Use feed items to create a post or save an idea | Buffer’s help page states up to three feeds on Free and up to 50 on paid plans; these limits may change. See Buffer’s Content Feeds guide. |
Choose the direct integration when you want to select an individual article as you read in Feedly. Consider Buffer’s feed feature when you want to add a feed as a content source within Buffer. The sources establish these different workflows, not a complete feature-by-feature comparison.

Can you automate Feedly articles into Buffer?
Buffer’s guidance on third-party automation describes workflows that begin with an app trigger and then take an action in Buffer. It gives sending tagged Feedly articles to a Buffer queue as an example. Buffer also says its API is available on all plans. For setup details and compatibility, check Buffer’s third-party integrations guide and the instructions for the automation service you choose.
The direct sharing flow described above does not itself establish an automatic rule: it is an article handoff initiated from Feedly.

What to check if the option is missing
- Confirm that Buffer is connected in Feedly, or start from a story’s Buffer icon and complete authorization if asked.
- Check whether the social profiles you expect appear in the sharing interface; Feedly’s documented flow lets you select among the profile bubbles shown.
- If you expect Share Now but do not see it, Feedly documents that choice while Buffer’s listing omits it. The documentation does not explain why the lists differ, so available controls should be checked in your own account.
- If you are looking for RSS feeds rather than a story-by-story handoff, use Buffer’s separate content-feeds workflow and check its current feed limits.
These steps reflect official Feedly and Buffer documentation; they are not a hands-on test, and the documentation does not establish behavior for every account or interface version.
