Phasmophobia’s 2026 Halloween event, Crimson Eye, runs from October 8 through November 1. To make event progress, play contracts on the featured event locations, find Blood Moon totems, and complete investigations and optional objectives. The official announcement names the rewards but does not publish point thresholds or exact redemption steps, so use the in-game event interface to track progress and check what can be claimed.
How to make Crimson Eye event progress
- Update the game and check the event interface. The v0.19.1.0 patch notes confirm the event and add a per-session Seasonal Event toggle that controls event maps. Check the in-game event board for current personal and community progress.
- Select a featured event location. The announced locations are 6 Tanglewood Drive, 42 Edgefield Road, Grafton Farmhouse, 13 Willow Street, Bleasdale Farmhouse, Point Hope on Standard difficulty only, Camp Woodwind, and Nell’s Diner. Point Hope Restricted is excluded. Kinetic Games’ announcement does not give a daily map rotation schedule, so check the in-game selection rather than assuming a rotation.
- Investigate and look for Blood Moon totems. Event points come from finding totems and completing investigations and optional objectives on featured locations. Blood Moon weather makes the challenge harder. The official instructions do not require a particular equipment setup or difficulty strategy.
- Review progress after contracts. Reopen the event interface to see your progress and the community total. The announcement does not provide point thresholds, trophy upgrade requirements, or button-by-button claim instructions; follow the current in-game prompts for any available rewards.
The event’s featured locations and point activities are described in Kinetic Games’ Crimson Eye announcement; the map toggle is documented in the v0.19.1.0 patch notes. Do not rely on thresholds or claim steps from previous years as if they apply to this event.

What rewards are available?
- Seasonal event tee: listed among the event rewards. A separate Twitch Drop also offers the Crimson Eye tee; the announcement does not clarify whether it is the same reward instance as the event-point reward.
- Beholder ID Card and Badge set: listed as an unlockable event reward.
- Blood Moon charm: listed as an unlockable event reward.
- Upgradeable trophy: returning trophy owners progress their existing trophy rather than receiving a new one.
The announcement names these rewards but does not state their point requirements or exact claim process. Check the event interface for the requirements and available actions on your account.

Crimson Eye tee Twitch Drop: through October 15
Watching a total of two hours of Phasmophobia streams earns the Crimson Eye tee. The Drop ends at 11:59 p.m. BST on October 15, 2026. The announcement does not include channel eligibility or account-linking steps; use the official Kinetic Games event announcement and its Twitch Drops instructions for setup. This viewing requirement is separate from earning event points through contracts.

Double XP & Rewards: October 15–22
Completed-investigation rewards are doubled during this period. It is a bonus window, not a stated prerequisite for earning Crimson Eye event rewards.
Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts: October 26–November 1
Kinetic Games announced a Ghost Hunts 4 Hearts activity with the American Heart Association for these dates, but said further details would follow nearer the event. Its participation mechanics are not established in the announcement. Kinetic Games reported that the Phasmophobia community raised over $100,000 for the American Heart Association during the 2025 edition; that is a developer-reported figure, not an independently audited total.

What to check if a reward is not showing
- Confirm that the contract is on one of the announced featured locations and that Point Hope is set to Standard, not Restricted.
- Look for Blood Moon totems and complete optional objectives as well as the investigation; these are the stated sources of event points.
- Check the in-game event interface for your personal progress and any available reward action. The official announcement does not publish universal thresholds or a fixed claim sequence.
- For the tee Twitch Drop, verify the viewing window and consult the official Drop instructions for account setup; stream viewing is distinct from contract progress.
