Find the Tokyo City Dango display inside Horizon Stadium in Shimanoyama, then take a Photo Mode picture with your character outside the car and the Dango mascots in frame. The official reward is the Dango Outfit. “Tokyo City” refers to the themed display inside the stadium—not a landmark in the open-world Tokyo City area.
Where to find the Tokyo City Dango area
The target is at Horizon Stadium on the west side of Shimanoyama. From the map, use the stadium’s south entrance as your route target; the Edamame Time Attack and Horizon Mascot Party markers can help you orient yourself. The Dango display is beside the stadium’s pit-lane area, not out in the open-world Tokyo City district.
- Fast travel to Horizon Stadium’s south entrance.
- Drive toward the Edamame Time Attack start.
- Before reaching the starting line, turn left onto the unmarked road leading toward the pit lane.
- Stop beside the Dango mascot display. Look for the pink Tokyo City signs and the three-round Dango-on-a-stick mascot cutouts.
This route is described by Traxion.GG and Nerd’s Chalk.

How to take a qualifying photo
The Festival Playlist objective is: “Take a photo of your character in the Mascot Party’s Dango area.” The official wording names the subject and area; the practical setup described by the guides is to have your avatar outside the vehicle and include the Dango display in the picture.

- Open Photo Mode near the mascot display. Traxion.GG reports using the D-pad Photo Mode shortcut; the assigned control may differ with your platform or bindings.
- In the Photo Mode character settings, enable or show your character and change the position from “Driver Seat” to an outside-car position.
- Frame both your character and the Dango mascot display in the shot.
- Take the photo and check that the challenge registers as complete.
The character-position setting is the important detail: an image with your avatar still seated in the car may not satisfy the guide-described setup. The official playlist page confirms the objective and reward at Forza.net’s Festival Playlist.
Why #DeliciousDango may not register
- You went to the wrong Tokyo City location. Return to Horizon Stadium in Shimanoyama; the target is its themed Dango display, not an open-world Tokyo City landmark.
- You are near the signs but not the display. Move beside the Dango mascot cutouts rather than photographing the pink Tokyo City signs alone.
- Your character is still in the car. In Photo Mode, set the character to an outside position instead of “Driver Seat,” then take another picture with the display visible.
Reward and availability
The official Festival Playlist entry lists the Dango Outfit as the reward, and an official Forza announcement says players unlock it by completing #DeliciousDango. See the Forza Horizon 6 announcements on Steam. Nerd’s Chalk reports that the challenge is worth two Season Points; that figure is guide-reported and is not shown in the official playlist excerpt cited here.
