To avoid missing a requirement in ARC Raiders, read every objective in the quest log before deploying, complete the named interaction rather than merely visiting the area, and check that the tracker updates before you leave. For items, follow the exact instruction to collect, deliver, or extract; those are different requirements. The current quest list also needs a version caveat: Embark’s October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail update added 22 quests, but the available detailed walkthroughs stop at the earlier Riven Tides update.
What “every quest” means in the current version
Quests branch across Shani, Celeste, Tian Wen, Apollo, and Lance; they are not one fixed linear checklist. Use prerequisites to plan a route, then confirm that each quest is available in your in-game log. For a dated baseline, PC Gamer’s guide lists 100 quests as of Riven Tides, while UrGameTips describes its list as current through that same update. Neither source establishes a complete step-by-step list for the 22 quests added in Frozen Trail 2.0, so those older catalogs should not be treated as exhaustive for the current version.
Embark’s Frozen Trail – 2.0 Update went live October 8, 2026. Its patch notes say that completing quests and quest objectives now grants XP, but they do not provide objective-by-objective walkthroughs for all 22 new quests. Check the live quest log and current official notes for those steps rather than relying on a guide that claims to cover every current quest without showing its update coverage.

- Before queueing: accept the quest and read every tracker entry. Note the map or landmark, the number of required interactions, any item to bring or collect, and whether the final verb is search, activate, repair, photograph, upload, deliver, return, or extract.
- Plan by map, not by assumption: group compatible objectives on one map when practical, but do not count on separate quests sharing progress unless each tracker confirms it.
- At the location: interact with the named object or terminal itself. Reaching the area may satisfy a visit step but not a search, repair, investigation, sabotage, upload, or activation step.
- Confirm the counter: check the relevant quest entry immediately after the interaction. For a photo objective, use the Camera and confirm the photo objective advances before leaving.
- Protect quest items: keep required items until the wording’s hand-in or extraction condition is complete. A pickup does not necessarily finish a step that requires delivery to a trader or a successful extraction.
- Before extracting: review every active objective. If a step is still incomplete, verify the target, map, item, and patch-specific conditions before deciding whether to continue or extract.
This routine follows the objective types and patch history documented by Embark and the pre-Frozen Trail walkthrough; it is not a claim that every quest has been personally tested.

Read the objective verb as a requirement
Quest text often describes more than a destination. Use the verb to identify what the game must register:

These are examples of requirement patterns, not a complete list of steps for every quest. PC Gamer’s quest walkthrough covers detailed objectives through Riven Tides; check its date and compare patch-sensitive steps with Embark’s current notes.
Account for camera changes and other current update details
Frozen Trail 2.0 says The League, Reduced to Rubble, Life of a Pharmacist, Battening Down, and Groundbreaking now require photographs taken with the new Camera. If an older guide describes a different action or leaves out the Camera, follow the current tracker and verify that the photo counter changes.
The update says the Camera may be bought from Shani, crafted at the Workbench, or found Topside. It also describes an Outpost unlock project step that requires a photo of a farmland house. Those details establish ways to obtain the Camera and one Outpost project requirement, not the complete steps for all new quests.
When a quest objective does not count
A stalled counter can mean the wrong object or interaction, an unmet item or extraction condition, an outdated walkthrough, or a map-specific limitation. Check the tracker wording first, then consult the official notes for known issues.
- Picking Up the Pieces on Pendola Pass: Embark’s October 8, 2026 notes say this quest cannot be completed on Pendola Pass and works on other maps. Use a supported map instead.
- Off The Radar: The current 2.0 notes flag that this quest cannot be completed on Pendola Pass. Earlier patch history also documents map-related limitations, so confirm the supported map and current target rather than repeating a stale route.
- Greasing Her Palms: An older guide lists map-specific inspection objectives across Spaceport, Dam Battlegrounds, and Buried City. Embark later expanded the qualifying Spaceport thrusters; if the tracker does not advance, check the current qualifying target rather than assuming the older target list still applies.
- Container credit or multi-objective progress: Embark has previously fixed issues affecting container credit and quests with multiple objectives. If the exact interaction appears correct but no counter moves, compare the current patch notes and recheck the objective in a fresh run.
- Riven Tides steps: The April 28, 2026 Riven Tides notes changed quest details, including the reward timing for Shoring Up Defenses: the Detector is given on acceptance. That is a reminder to distinguish an item received when accepting a quest from one that must be found during a run.
- Cinematic after Sizing Things Up: Frozen Trail 2.0 notes a cinematic that may fail to trigger. Check whether the quest objective itself is complete; the missing cinematic alone does not prove the objective failed.

Choose a quest list that matches your needs
Before following any external checklist, check its coverage and whether it states prerequisites, locations, item conditions, and patch-sensitive changes. A quest catalog can help plan progression without being a complete guide to each live objective.

- UrGameTips’ quest list is dated August 9, 2026 and likewise states coverage through Riven Tides.
- ARC Raiders Hub’s update log provides a quest database changelog; use it as a version cross-check, not as a substitute for the in-game tracker or official patch notes.
For current progression, compare any external list against the quest log and update notes. Do not infer that a list is current merely because it has a large quest count.
