The Redmi 15 is the larger phone, with a higher listed refresh rate, larger battery and higher microSD expansion limit. The Redmi Note 14’s global 4G specification page, meanwhile, identifies its display as AMOLED and lists a 108MP main camera alongside depth and macro cameras. Both pages describe 4G phones with 33W charging, but Xiaomi’s published specs do not establish which is faster, takes better photos or lasts longer in real use.

In practical terms, the Redmi 15’s size may suit someone who prioritizes a bigger viewing area, while the Note 14’s stated AMOLED panel is a meaningful distinction for buyers choosing by display technology. Refresh-rate figures are maximum specifications, not a promise that every app or activity will run at those rates.
Performance: Helio G99-Ultra vs Snapdragon 685
Xiaomi lists a MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra in the Redmi Note 14 and a Snapdragon 685 in the Redmi 15. Those chip names alone do not show which phone performs better in day-to-day use, gaming, or sustained workloads. The available manufacturer specifications do not provide a comparable independent benchmark, so a performance winner cannot be established from them.
Cameras: more megapixels do not settle image quality
The Redmi Note 14 lists a 108MP main camera with separate 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras; the Redmi 15 lists a 50MP main camera and an auxiliary lens. Their front-camera specifications are 20MP and 8MP respectively. These figures describe camera configuration, not photo quality: megapixel counts and lens labels do not establish low-light performance, image processing, video quality, or which phone takes better pictures.

Battery capacity and charging
Xiaomi lists typical capacities of 5500mAh for the Note 14 and 7000mAh for the Redmi 15. Both list 33W charging. The larger stated capacity gives the Redmi 15 a paper advantage in battery size, but capacity by itself does not prove longer battery life; runtime depends on the full device and how it is used. No comparable runtime test is established by the cited specifications.

Storage, SIM and network compatibility
Both models have the same three listed RAM and storage combinations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Both support hybrid SIM and microSD configurations, with Xiaomi listing expansion up to 1TB for the Note 14 and up to 2TB for the Redmi 15. Confirm the exact regional model and card compatibility before buying, since the advertised maximum does not guarantee every card or configuration will work.
The two global pages describe 4G LTE devices, not 5G models. NFC availability varies by market on both. Check the bands and features for the specific country and SKU rather than assuming every regional version matches Xiaomi’s global page.
Durability ratings and charging accessories
Xiaomi lists IP54 for the Redmi Note 14 and IP64 for the Redmi 15. These are ingress-protection ratings, not claims that either phone is waterproof. Xiaomi ties protection to laboratory conditions and cautions that resistance may deteriorate; avoid treating the rating as permission to submerge or expose a phone to liquids.

Price difference: no current like-for-like figure established
There is no supported current price difference here: prices depend on market, seller, memory configuration and date, and the available Xiaomi UK prices are historical promotions for the Redmi Note 14 rather than current matched quotes for both phones.
For context only, Xiaomi UK’s first-sale terms listed the Note 14 at £179 for 6GB+128GB and £229 for 8GB+256GB, with early-bird prices of £149 and £199 during the promotion running 15–31 January 2025. Xiaomi UK’s 2025 Black Friday terms later listed promotional prices of £159 and £209 for those same configurations, against original prices of £179 and £229. These past UK offers are not today’s prices and do not establish how the Redmi 15 compares.
Sources: Xiaomi UK first-sale promotion terms and Xiaomi UK 2025 Black Friday terms. To work out a real difference, compare listings from the same country for the same RAM/storage configuration, and check whether the price is a temporary promotion.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesWhich one should you choose?
- Choose the Redmi Note 14 if the AMOLED panel, higher listed rear-camera megapixel count, or lower microSD capacity limit better fits your priorities. These specifications do not by themselves establish superior image quality.
- Choose the Redmi 15 if you prefer the larger listed display, higher maximum refresh rate, larger stated battery capacity, or higher listed microSD expansion limit.
- Compare local listings before deciding if price, NFC, supported network bands, included accessories, or a specific storage configuration matters; availability and package details vary by region.
