The Moto G86 Power has the stronger listed memory and storage configuration, a higher-resolution display, and higher published dust- and water-ingress ratings. The OnePlus N6x has a slightly larger screen and a larger stated battery. There is no reliable basis here for naming an overall winner: Motorola’s specifications are from a US support page that warns they can vary by market, while OnePlus’s product page is India-specific. Check the exact regional variant and current local price before buying.
How the listed specifications compare
| Category | Moto G86 Power 5G | OnePlus N6x |

| Processor and memory | MediaTek Dimensity 7300; 8 GB physical RAM; 512 GB storage | MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex; listed configurations of 4 GB RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB storage |

Motorola notes that specifications may vary by market. The OnePlus information comes from its India product page, and its RAM and storage configurations are stated in page disclaimers. These are not necessarily the exact variants sold in every country. Motorola’s specifications and OnePlus’s India product page are the relevant manufacturer references.
Which phone has the better display?
The Moto has the more detailed and higher-resolution published display specification: 2712 × 1220 on a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, with refresh rates up to 120 Hz and HDR10+. Motorola also states a peak HDR brightness of up to 4500 nits. The OnePlus N6x listing specifies a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz, but does not provide directly comparable resolution or brightness figures in the cited material.
On specifications alone, the Moto is the clearer choice if resolution and the stated display technology matter most; the OnePlus offers a little more screen area. The available figures do not establish which screen looks better in everyday use: there is no matched independent measurement here, and the brightness claims are not directly comparable.

Memory, storage, and performance
The cited Moto configuration lists 8 GB of physical RAM and 512 GB of storage, compared with the OnePlus page’s 4 GB RAM options paired with 64 GB or 128 GB of storage. That gives the Moto a substantial advantage on paper for buyers who keep many files or want more listed memory. Confirm local configurations before relying on these numbers, since the manufacturer pages cover different markets.
The phones use different MediaTek processors: Dimensity 7300 in the Moto and Dimensity 6360 Apex in the OnePlus. Chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in actual use. The available sources do not provide matched independent performance tests, so they cannot support a definitive speed or gaming ranking.
Battery capacity and advertised runtime
The OnePlus N6x has the larger stated battery capacity: 7,000 mAh equivalent, compared with 6,720 mAh for the Moto. Motorola lists 30 W TurboPower charging for the G86 Power. OnePlus says the N6x can provide “up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge,” based on OnePlus Test Lab data; the company says actual results vary. Motorola’s page lists up to 50 hours, also a manufacturer claim.

Those runtime figures are not a head-to-head result. They come from different manufacturers and testing conditions, so they do not show which phone will last longer for a particular person. The OnePlus has the higher stated capacity; actual endurance depends on use and conditions.
Ingress ratings and durability claims
Motorola lists IP68/IP69 for the G86 Power; OnePlus lists IP64 for the N6x. These are different published ingress-protection ratings, with Motorola listing the higher ratings. They are specifications, not a guarantee that either phone will survive every exposure to dust, water, or an accident. Do not deliberately expose a phone to water based on its rating.

Both manufacturer pages also list a military-standard durability designation: MIL-STD 810H for the Moto and MIL-STD-810H for the OnePlus. Such a designation should not be read as a promise that a device cannot be damaged in a drop or under other conditions.

A 91mobiles comparison search-result snapshot displayed ₹17,835 for the Moto G86 Power and ₹20,999 for the OnePlus N6x, a displayed difference of ₹3,164 with the OnePlus higher. This is a third-party listing snapshot, not a verified current offer or manufacturer price; the underlying page could not be opened for verification. The shown prices may also refer to different configurations.
For a useful buying comparison, check prices on the same day in your country and compare matching RAM and storage variants. Account for seller, discounts, and warranty terms rather than treating the snapshot as a live quote. The 91mobiles comparison result is the source for the displayed figures.
Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Moto G86 Power if the listed higher-resolution AMOLED display, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, or higher published IP ratings best match your priorities.
- Consider the OnePlus N6x if you prefer its slightly larger display or its higher stated battery capacity.
- Compare local listings before deciding if price is decisive. Verify the exact model, storage and RAM configuration, network-band compatibility, warranty, and seller in your market.
The available specifications support those preference-based trade-offs, not a universal winner. Motorola’s page is a US support listing with a market-variation caveat; the OnePlus page is for India. Neither source establishes a comparable future OS or security-update commitment, and the cited price snapshot cannot settle which phone is better value today.
