A bi-directional photo album is designed to hold both landscape and portrait prints, but capacity and layout vary by model. Before buying, check the print size, the album’s separate horizontal and vertical capacities, and how the pages load. For example, the Pioneer BP200/BB listing specifies space for 204 horizontal or 136 vertical 4×6-inch photos—not the same number in both orientations.
What “bi-directional” means in a photo album
In the product listings covered here, “bi-directional” describes pockets or page layouts that accommodate photos in both horizontal (landscape) and vertical (portrait) orientations. Check the page layout and loading style
The BP200/BB listing describes three horizontal or two vertical 4×6 photos per side. It also specifies side-loading clear pages, shaded backgrounds, and memo areas.
