There is no universally best race-and-EVO combination in Pixel Lineage. Choose your base class for its weapon and recurring turn pattern, select a race whose passive solves your immediate goal, then commit to the permanent Super branch whose moves you actually want to use. A survival player may prefer Tideborn or Nightborne, a Fist player has a stated Stonekin synergy, and a defense-oriented build may favor Dwarf. Those are conditional choices, not universal rankings.
The supplied title says “Ultimate Pixel Lineage,” while the available fan guides call the game “Pixel Lineage.” The mechanics below come from an unofficial resource updated October 9, 2026, so confirm descriptions in-game after patches.
What “best” means for your build
Race and EVO solve different problems. Your base class supplies the weapon, opening actions and available Super families. Your race is a rolled passive that modifies how the hero survives, deals damage or progresses. Your Super is a permanent specialization inside that class family, and a later Ultra awakening extends the same path. Treating any one of those choices as an isolated tier list produces bad recommendations.
Use this order when deciding:
- Define the job. Decide whether the build needs reliable solo recovery, burst damage, party support, Energy management, defense, class mastery, gold or loot.
- Pick the base class. Its weapon and turn pattern determine which three Super branches are legal for that hero.
- Compare the race passive. Match the trigger and benefit to the job rather than choosing only by rarity.
- Inspect the Super branch moves. The choice is permanent, so select the branch whose complete kit fits your intended fights.
- Plan the Ultra path. A matching Ultra Sigil awakens the corresponding branch; Ultra Tomes teach later skills.
This process prevents two common errors: recommending a Super from the wrong class family and discarding a useful race simply because it is not in the guide’s top tier.

Confirm the game and current rules first
Search results use both “Ultimate Pixel Lineage” and “Pixel Lineage.” The available material does not prove that those names identify different experiences, so check the Roblox experience title and the current in-game descriptions before spending rolls or making a permanent evolution. The detailed mechanics in this guide are reported by an independent, unofficial fan resource, not an official rules source or a controlled test.
Patch-sensitive details include passive percentages, class actions, branch skills, roll chances and the location of progression items. If an in-game tooltip disagrees with the figures below, use the current tooltip and treat the older figure as historical context.
Choose the base class before the race
The race cannot replace a class’s action kit. Start by choosing the weapon and the kind of turns you want to repeat.

| Archer | Bow; basic arrows ignore a little Defense | Ranger, Deadeye, Corsair | Do you want ranged consistency, precision or a different branch utility? |
Warrior
Warrior is the straightforward choice when a sword opener and protection on the first direct hit define your plan. Compare Berserk, Sentinel and Greatsword in the current branch screen; the available material establishes the branch names but not a universal winner or a complete move-by-move ranking.
Thief
Thief suits players who want dagger attacks and a crit-oriented turn pattern. Rogue, Assassin and Beast Tamer are the legal Super families for this class. A high-crit goal should still be checked against the actual branch skills rather than inferred from the name alone.
Mage
Mage is the Energy-sensitive option. Guard consumes Energy to create a barrier based on Energy, so the value of a race or EVO depends on whether it keeps that resource available at the moments you need protection. Cleric, Hexer and Summoner are Mage branches only.

Fist
Fist uses multi-hit physical techniques. This is the clearest class-specific race interaction in the available guide: Stonekin is reported to increase Fist attacks by 15 percent. That does not prove Stonekin is best in every mode, but it gives a concrete reason to evaluate it first on a Fist hero.
Bard
Bard’s lute kit links successful healing to Energy through Encore: a successful heal restores one Energy. That makes the class attractive when your plan is to alternate support and resource generation. Minstrel, Siren and Pianist are the three branch choices.
Archer
Archer’s basic arrows ignore a little Defense, giving the class a defined ranged damage pattern before evolution. Ranger, Deadeye and Corsair are the available Super families. Select among them only after reading the current skills and deciding whether the branch changes your preferred range, accuracy or utility pattern.
Match the race passive to the job
The fan ranking below is explicitly for solo adventure survival. Its S and A labels are editorial grades, not official ratings, and they should not be applied unchanged to party play, farming or a specific class.
| Race | Reported passive | Best fit to evaluate first | Guide tier for solo survival |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tideborn | Heals 5% of maximum HP at the start of every turn | Long solo fights and predictable recovery | S |
| Nightborne | Heals 15% of attack damage, capped at 7% of maximum HP per move | Attack-focused builds that deal damage consistently | S |
| Seraph | Opening party protection and stronger healing for two rounds | Party openings and short, high-pressure encounters | A |
| Stonekin | 20 extra maximum HP and 15% stronger Fist attacks | Fist damage with additional health | A |
| Dwarf | 15 extra maximum HP and 6% more Defense | Simple, always-on durability | A |
| Celestine | Crit, dodge and Magic bonuses | Mixed offense, evasion and Magic plans | A |
| Goblin | Passive details are not stated in the cited ranking | Gold and loot goals, according to the guide’s note | Not listed in the cited S/A table |
| Sylvan | Passive details are not stated in the cited ranking | Nature-focused plans, according to the guide’s note | Not listed in the cited S/A table |
| Human | Passive details are not stated in the cited ranking | Leveling and class mastery, according to the guide’s note | Not listed in the cited S/A table |
Tideborn versus Nightborne
These two races both receive an S grade for the ranking’s solo-survival goal, but their triggers are opposite enough to matter. Tideborn heals at the start of every turn, so its recovery does not require an attack to land. Nightborne heals from attack damage and cannot exceed 7 percent of maximum HP per move, making it more dependent on dealing damage. Choose Tideborn when predictable turn-based recovery is the priority; choose Nightborne when your class reliably attacks and converts damage into sustain.

Seraph for a party opener
Seraph’s value is concentrated at the beginning of combat: the reported effect protects the party and strengthens healing for two rounds. That is a different use case from Tideborn’s recurring personal recovery. If your hero spends most encounters alone, the opening party effect may contribute less than a passive that activates every turn.

Stonekin for Fist
Stonekin combines 20 additional maximum HP with a stated 15 percent increase to Fist attacks. The named synergy is unusually specific, so it should be a first comparison for Monk, Brawler or Oni plans. On a non-Fist class, evaluate whether the extra health alone justifies giving up a more relevant passive.
Dwarf for defense
Dwarf adds 15 maximum HP and 6 percent Defense. Its profile is easy to value because both benefits are defensive rather than conditional on an attack, healing event or party formation. It is a sensible starting point when survival is the goal but your class does not benefit from Stonekin’s Fist modifier.
Celestine, Goblin, Sylvan and Human
Celestine is described as a mixed package of critical-hit, dodge and Magic bonuses. That breadth can support hybrid plans, but it is less targeted than Stonekin’s Fist modifier or Dwarf’s direct defense. The same guide notes that Goblin may suit gold and loot, Sylvan a Nature plan and Human leveling or class mastery. Those are goal-based suggestions, not evidence that any of the three dominates combat.

The race page lists the following rounded individual chances, attributed to Pixel Lineage Wiki (2026). They are guide-reported game values, not an independently verified statistical study.
| Race | Listed chance |
|---|---|
| Tideborn | 0.7% |
| Nightborne | 0.7% |
| Seraph | 0.7% |
| Stonekin | 8.0% |
| Dwarf | 8.7% |
| Celestine | 1.4% |
| Ashborn | 9.4% |
| Sylvan | 7.2% |
| Vesper | 5.8% |
| Slime | 6.5% |
| Human | 37.7% |
| Goblin | 8.7% |
| Mushroom | 4.3% |
A 0.7 percent listing means a rare roll is difficult to target; it does not make that roll automatically better for your current hero. The ranking itself warns against discarding a useful passive solely to chase a 0.7 percent result. Set a stopping rule before rerolling: keep a passive that directly supports your class and objective unless the replacement solves a clearly larger problem.
How to choose your EVO step by step
1. Lock the class family
Write down the base class before opening the evolution choices. Warrior can only move into Berserk, Sentinel or Greatsword; Thief into Rogue, Assassin or Beast Tamer; Mage into Cleric, Hexer or Summoner; Fist into Monk, Brawler or Oni; Bard into Minstrel, Siren or Pianist; Archer into Ranger, Deadeye or Corsair. Do not select a branch because its name sounds strong if it belongs to another family.

2. Compare complete branch kits
The available overview confirms that the Super choice is permanent but does not establish a universal best branch or publish enough move detail to rank every matchup. Open the current in-game descriptions and compare the skills as a set: damage pattern, defensive tools, healing, Energy costs, cooldown or turn restrictions, target count and any conditions. Choose the kit that supports the turns you expect to repeat, not the single highest-looking number.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minute3. Check the immediate game mode
For solo adventure, recurring recovery and reliable mitigation usually matter more than a party-only opener. For a coordinated party, Seraph’s opening protection or a support-oriented branch may gain value. For farming, a race noted for gold or loot can be more relevant than a combat tier. State the mode explicitly before calling a choice “best.”
4. Verify permanence before confirming
The guide describes the Super selection as permanent for that hero. Read every confirmation panel, note the branch name and compare it with your intended Ultra path. If the game has recently changed the interface, rely on the current confirmation text rather than an older screenshot or guide description.
5. Record the future Ultra route
A matching Ultra Sigil later awakens the matching Ultra branch. The overview says awakening grants the first Ultra skill, while Ultra Tomes teach skills II and III. This means EVO is a progression path, not a one-time cosmetic upgrade or a free swap between branches. Keep the branch identity in mind when obtaining the Sigil and Tomes.

Reliable solo survival
Start by comparing Tideborn’s 5 percent maximum-HP recovery at the start of every turn with Nightborne’s attack-dependent healing. If your class attacks consistently and benefits from converting damage into healing, Nightborne is worth testing; if you need recovery even on a defensive or setup turn, Tideborn is the clearer fit. A defensive alternative is Dwarf, especially when your current problems are incoming damage rather than missing recovery.
Fist damage with a health buffer
For a Fist hero, evaluate Stonekin first because its reported 15 percent Fist-attack increase is directly tied to the class, and its additional 20 maximum HP helps survivability. Then compare Monk, Brawler and Oni by their actual skill descriptions. The race synergy does not decide which Super branch is correct; it only makes the class-and-race pairing worth serious consideration.

Party support
Seraph’s opening protection and stronger healing for two rounds are designed around party value, while Bard’s Encore rewards successful healing with one Energy. A support plan should therefore compare Seraph’s short opening window with the Bard branch skills and the party’s ability to keep healing successful. Do not use a solo-survival tier as the sole answer for a group composition.
Defense-first progression
Dwarf gives a simple 15 maximum HP and 6 percent Defense package. It is a practical choice when you are learning a class, pushing unfamiliar content or repeatedly dying before a branch’s damage matters. Human is separately noted as a leveling and class-mastery option, so a progression-focused player should compare that goal against Dwarf’s combat durability rather than treating either as universally superior.
Economy, Nature or hybrid goals
The guide’s notes associate Goblin with gold and loot, Sylvan with a Nature plan and Human with leveling or class mastery. These suggestions demonstrate why a combat-only tier list is incomplete. If the purpose of the hero is farming or unlocking mastery, choose the passive that advances that objective even when its combat grade is lower.

Common mistakes and how to correct them
- Calling an S-tier race universally best. The ranking is for solo adventure survival. Replace the label with the actual goal and trigger that make the passive valuable.
- Choosing by rarity alone. The listed chances describe how often a roll appears, not how much it helps your class. Keep a useful, lower-rarity passive when it solves your current problem.
- Ignoring trigger conditions. Start-of-turn healing, attack-based healing and a two-round opening effect behave differently. Match the trigger to the turns you can reliably create.
- Mixing class families. A Warrior cannot take a Mage Super branch. Check the legal three-branch list for the base class first.
- Assuming EVO is reversible. The reported Super choice is permanent. Read the confirmation and branch skills before committing.
- Planning Ultra skills too late. The matching Ultra Sigil awakens the branch, and Ultra Tomes teach skills II and III. Decide whether that long-term route fits before confirming the Super.
- Trusting stale guide text after a patch. Recheck the in-game tooltip, especially for percentages, costs, branch moves and item locations.
A practical decision checklist
- Confirm that the Roblox experience you are playing is the Pixel Lineage entry intended by this guide.
- Write one primary goal: solo recovery, damage, support, defense, progression, gold/loot or Nature.
- Select the base class whose weapon and turn pattern you want to repeat.
- List only that class’s three Super branches.
- Compare each branch’s current skills, resource costs and conditions in-game.
- Match the race trigger to your actual turns: Tideborn for start-of-turn recovery, Nightborne for attack-based sustain, Seraph for an opening party effect, Stonekin for Fist synergy, Dwarf for defense or Celestine for a mixed crit/dodge/Magic plan.
- Check whether a goal-specific option such as Goblin, Sylvan or Human serves the hero better than a combat ranking.
- Review the listed rarity and decide how much reroll risk you accept; do not chase a rare result without a concrete benefit.
- Read the permanent-choice confirmation and verify the future Ultra Sigil and Tome path.
- After an update, compare every volatile percentage and description with the current in-game text.
Bottom line for choosing your combination
Build from the inside out: class first, race second, EVO third. Tideborn is the most dependable of the two listed S-tier survival options when you need healing regardless of attack; Nightborne is better aligned with a consistently attacking build. Stonekin has the clearest named class synergy for Fist, Dwarf is the uncomplicated defense choice, Seraph is oriented toward party openings, and Celestine supports a mixed offensive/evasion/Magic profile. Goblin, Sylvan and Human can be correct when economy, Nature or mastery is the real objective.
No source establishes a universal best Super or Ultra branch. Because the evolution is permanent and the detailed rules are unofficial and patch-sensitive, inspect the current branch skills and confirmation text before committing.
