There is no single best 5G phone under ₹15,000. The right choice depends on whether you value performance and a sharp 120Hz display, battery and charging, software longevity, camera flexibility, or broad 5G-band support. In the latest Indian listings checked on October 15, 2026, the Realme P1 5G stands out on paper for its Dimensity 7050 chip, 1080p 120Hz display and 45W charging at ₹13,999; the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G is the clearer longevity and band-support option, with 12 listed 5G bands and a stated four-generation Android-upgrade and four-year security-update policy, but the cited ₹12,499 listing has 4GB RAM and no charger. Compare the exact variant, seller, warranty, box contents, bands and live price before paying.
What you can buy under ₹15,000 right now
Prices and stock move frequently, so treat these as dated snapshots rather than permanent prices. Smartprix’s list was updated October 14, 2026, while the Gadgets 360 list was updated October 12, 2026. The two lists do not contain exactly the same models or variants.

| Lava Blaze Duo 5G | ₹14,051 | Gadgets 360, October 12, 2026 | Included in the same under-₹15,000 list |
Gadgets 360 describes its list as phones under ₹15,000 currently available in India, sorted by overall review rating, with every listed phone carrying an overall rating of 8 or above on that site. That ordering is not a universal performance ranking. TelecomLead’s August 11, 2026 comparison also says the phones should be compared by individual priorities such as battery life, storage, software support, cameras and display quality.

Start with your priority, not the 5G label
“5G” only identifies a network capability. It does not tell you how fast the processor is, how long the battery lasts, which bands are enabled, whether a charger is in the box, or how many Android updates the manufacturer promises. Use this decision order:
#1 Best Overall
- YOUR CONTENT, SUPER SMOOTH: The ultra-clear 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED display of Galaxy A17 5G helps bring your content to life, whether you're scrolling through recipes or video chatting with loved ones.¹
- LIVE FAST. CHARGE FASTER: Focus more on the moment and less on your battery percentage with Galaxy A17 5G. Super Fast Charging powers up your battery so you can get back to life sooner.²
- MEMORIES MADE PICTURE PERFECT: Capture every angle in stunning clarity, from wide family photos to close-ups of friends, with the triple-lens camera on Galaxy A17 5G.
- NEED MORE STORAGE? WE HAVE YOU COVERED: With an improved 2TB of expandable storage, Galaxy A17 5G makes it easy to keep cherished photos, videos and important files readily accessible whenever you need them.³
- BUILT TO LAST: With an improved IP54 rating, Galaxy A17 5G is even more durable than before.⁴ It’s built to resist splashes and dust and comes with a stronger yet slimmer Gorilla Glass Victus front and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer back.
- Set a hard landed-cost limit. Include the phone, a charger if absent, a case, and any delivery or exchange difference.
- Choose the workload. Heavy multitasking and games need a stronger chipset and adequate RAM; messaging, video and payments can use a less powerful platform.
- Choose display priorities. A 120Hz panel makes scrolling and supported games look smoother, while 1080p resolution improves text and image detail. Panel type affects contrast and power use.
- Compare battery capacity and charging together. A larger cell is useful, but charging wattage determines how quickly you can replenish it.
- Check software and network support. A longer update policy and the bands your operator uses can matter more than an extra camera.
- Verify the exact online listing. Confirm memory, seller, warranty, box contents and return terms immediately before checkout.
Performance, RAM and storage
How the listed chips differ
The Realme P1 5G is listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage at ₹13,999. The Moto G34 5G listing pairs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at ₹14,999. The Infinix Note 50X 5G is listed with a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at ₹13,499.
Those chipset names are useful indicators of class, but they do not prove frame rates, thermal behavior or sustained performance in a particular game. The same game can behave differently after software updates, and storage speed, cooling and display resolution also affect the experience. Do not treat a benchmark number or a chip name as a guaranteed gaming result.
How much memory to buy
- 6GB RAM: A sensible baseline for ordinary communication, streaming, payments and moderate multitasking. Keep fewer demanding apps open if the phone uses memory expansion from storage.
- 8GB RAM: Gives the Moto G34 5G listing more headroom for switching among apps, but it does not automatically make its Snapdragon 695 faster than another phone’s chipset.
- 128GB storage: The cited Realme P1, Moto G34 and Infinix Note 50X configurations all use 128GB. This is workable for most users, but large games, offline video and many photos can consume it quickly. Check whether the exact model supports a microSD card before relying on expansion.
When two phones have similar prices, prefer the configuration that gives you enough physical storage without depending on a memory-expansion feature. Confirm whether a listing’s RAM figure includes virtual or extended RAM; the cited snapshot does not establish that detail.

Display: 120Hz is not the whole story
| Phone | Size and resolution in the cited listing | Refresh rate | Decision implication |
|---|---|---|---|
| Realme P1 5G | 6.67 inches, 1080×2400 | 120Hz | Combines the highest stated resolution in this comparison with a fast refresh rate |
| Samsung Galaxy F16 5G (6GB/128GB) | 6.7 inches, 1080×2340 | 90Hz | Sharp 1080p-class resolution with a smoother-than-60Hz refresh rate |
| Motorola Moto G34 5G (8GB/128GB) | 6.5 inches, 720×1600 | 120Hz | Fast motion response on paper, but lower stated resolution than the other two |
Refresh rate controls how often the screen can update; it can make scrolling and compatible games appear smoother. Resolution controls fine detail and text sharpness. AMOLED and LCD panels differ in contrast, black levels and typical power behavior, but the cited listings do not establish the panel type for every model above. Check the manufacturer’s specification page or the exact seller listing if panel technology is decisive for you.

- Charger NOT Included, 6.7" Super AMOLED FHD+, 90Hz Refresh Rate, 385 ppi, 800 nits (HBM), 1080x2340px, 5000mAh Battery

- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 (wide) + 5MP, f/2.2 (ultrawide) + 2MP, f/2.4 (macro), LED flash, panorama, HDR; Front Camera: 13MP, f/2.0, Android 14, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 6.1
- 3G: HSDPA 850/900/1700(AWS)/1900/2100; 4G LTE: 1/2/3/4/5/7/12/13/14/20/25/26/28/29/30/38/39/40/41/48/66/71, 5G: 2/5/25/41/66/71/77/78 SA/NSA/Sub6/mmWave - Nano-SIM + eSIM
- US Model – Global Connectivity – Compatible with Most GSM Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc. Will Also work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Straight Talk.
A 120Hz setting can also use more power than a 60Hz mode, and some phones switch dynamically between rates. Look for an adaptive-refresh option rather than assuming the phone remains at its maximum rate all day.
Battery capacity and charging
| Phone | Battery listed | Wired charging listed | What you can safely conclude |
|---|---|---|---|
| Infinix Note 50X 5G | 5,500mAh | 45W | Largest stated capacity and fast charging among these four entries |
| Realme P1 5G | 5,000mAh | 45W | Matches the fastest stated charging rate here with a standard 5,000mAh capacity |
| Samsung Galaxy F16 5G | 5,000mAh | 25W | Same stated capacity, lower charging wattage than the 45W models |
| Motorola Moto G34 5G | 5,000mAh | 18W | Same stated capacity, slowest listed charging rate in this group |
Capacity and wattage do not establish real-world endurance. Screen brightness, refresh-rate mode, mobile-signal strength, camera use, gaming and background software all change consumption. A 5,500mAh phone can still last less than a well-optimized 5,000mAh phone in a particular workload. Treat these figures as selection inputs, not battery-test results.
Cameras: count hardware, then verify image quality
The cited hardware is:
- Realme P1 5G: 50MP + 2MP rear cameras and a 16MP front camera.
- Samsung Galaxy F16 5G: 50MP + 5MP + 2MP rear cameras and a 13MP front camera.
- Motorola Moto G34 5G: 50MP + 2MP rear cameras and a 16MP front camera.
- Infinix Note 50X 5G: 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
Megapixels and camera count do not tell you exposure consistency, autofocus behavior, night performance, stabilization, video quality or skin-tone rendering. A 5MP or 2MP auxiliary camera may be used for ultrawide, depth or macro duties, but the cited snapshot does not identify each sensor’s role. If photography is your priority, inspect independent samples and reviews for the exact variant instead of selecting by megapixel totals.
Software support and long-term value
The clearest stated policy in this price set
TelecomLead reports that the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and that Samsung promises four generations of Android upgrades plus four years of security updates. That is a concrete longevity commitment reported for this model; confirm the start date and regional terms with Samsung before purchase because update schedules can vary by market and carrier.

The cited comparison price for the Galaxy M06 5G is ₹12,499, and the comparison reports 4GB RAM. A lower price does not compensate for insufficient memory if your usage involves many large apps, so weigh the update promise against the exact RAM configuration.
Do not confuse manufacturer claims with independent testing
A Xiaomi India product page for the Redmi Note 15 5G says, “Long-term optimization ensures 48-month lag-free performance.” This is a manufacturer product-page claim, not an independent endurance or speed test, and no current India price in the supplied market snapshot establishes that this model belongs under ₹15,000. Do not use that statement to place it in this budget shortlist.
5G bands and operator compatibility
The Galaxy M06 5G comparison reports 12 supported 5G bands. More bands can improve compatibility across networks and regions, but band count alone does not guarantee reception or speed. Before buying:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches- Find the 5G bands used by your operator in the circles where you live, work and travel.
- Open the manufacturer’s specification page for the exact Indian model number, not a similarly named imported model.
- Compare the listed bands with your operator’s bands and confirm that the phone is an Indian retail variant.
- Check whether carrier aggregation, VoNR and other network features are supported if your operator requires them; the cited material does not establish those details.
“5G” printed in a product title is therefore not enough. Regional variants can have different radios even when the marketing name is identical.

Charger, warranty and the real checkout price
TelecomLead notes that the cited Amazon Galaxy M06 5G listing excludes a charger. Budget for a compatible USB-C adapter if you select that listing. The supplied snapshots do not establish charger inclusion for the Realme P1, Galaxy F16, Moto G34, Infinix Note 50X or the other models, so inspect the “in the box” section before payment. Charging speed also depends on using a compatible adapter and cable; a third-party adapter may charge more slowly.
Warranty, seller identity and return eligibility are not established by the cited price lists. Check that the seller is authorized for the Indian warranty, that the invoice names the correct model and storage variant, and that the return window covers a dead-on-arrival or wrong-variant shipment. A lower marketplace price can become more expensive if warranty service is unclear or a charger must be added.

Choose the Realme P1 5G when display and charging are the priority
The ₹13,999 listing combines a Dimensity 7050, 6GB/128GB, a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120Hz display and 5,000mAh/45W charging. It is the most coherent fit for someone who wants a sharp, fast-refresh screen and quick wired charging without exceeding the budget snapshot. The listing alone does not prove gaming frame rates or camera quality.

Choose the Infinix Note 50X 5G when capacity matters most
At ₹13,499, its listed 5,500mAh battery and 45W charging give it the largest stated cell and the faster charging tier among these examples. Its 6GB/128GB memory configuration and 50MP rear/8MP front camera hardware may suit moderate users, but verify software support and image quality before treating it as a long-term camera phone.

Choose the Moto G34 5G when you want 8GB RAM at the ceiling of the budget
The ₹14,999 listing provides 8GB/128GB and a Snapdragon 695, plus a 120Hz display. Its stated 720×1600 resolution and 18W charging are trade-offs against that memory configuration. It makes sense only if app switching and RAM capacity matter more to you than a sharper panel or faster charging.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy F16 5G when you prefer a 1080p screen and Samsung’s ecosystem
The 6GB/128GB entry at ₹13,999 lists a 6.7-inch 1080×2340 90Hz display, 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging. Another F16 price entry is ₹12,499 without a specified variant, so confirm whether it has the same RAM and storage before comparing prices. The supplied material does not state its update duration or 5G-band count.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G when updates and band breadth outweigh RAM and charger convenience
The cited ₹12,499 comparison gives the M06 12 supported 5G bands, Android 15/One UI 7 and the stated four-generation Android and four-year security policy. It is reported with 4GB RAM, and the cited Amazon listing excludes a charger. Those are material trade-offs, not footnotes.

- Match the title and box label. Confirm 5G, RAM, storage and color. A listing that omits the variant is not safe to compare with a clearly specified configuration.
- Record the live price. Note the date, seller, coupon, bank offer and exchange condition. Promotional prices can disappear after checkout.
- Open “Technical details.” Check display resolution and panel, battery, charging standard, dimensions, supported bands and SIM configuration.
- Open “In the box.” Verify whether the adapter, cable, case and screen protector are included.
- Check warranty and returns. Confirm Indian warranty coverage, invoice requirements, dead-on-arrival procedure and the return period.
- Compare total cost. Add a charger if needed and account for accessories, delivery and any non-refundable fees.
- Verify after delivery. Photograph the sealed package, confirm the model number and storage in Settings, test charging and make a short call before discarding packaging.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Buying by megapixels alone: Sensor processing and stabilization affect results more than the headline number.
- Buying by refresh rate alone: A 120Hz 720p display is not equivalent to a 90Hz 1080p panel for text clarity.
- Assuming battery capacity equals endurance: Software, signal strength and screen settings change consumption.
- Assuming every 5G phone has the same bands: Verify the Indian model and your operator’s frequencies.
- Ignoring RAM and storage variant names: A ₹12,499 phone may be a different configuration from a ₹13,999 listing of the same model.
- Assuming a charger is included: The cited Galaxy M06 listing explicitly excludes one, and inclusion for other models is not established here.
- Treating a review-list position as a universal ranking: Gadgets 360’s list is sorted by its own review ratings, while TelecomLead says suitability depends on personal priorities.
Final decision rule
For a balanced specification package in the current snapshot, start with the Realme P1 5G if you value a 1080p 120Hz display and 45W charging. Consider the Infinix Note 50X 5G for the largest stated battery, the Moto G34 5G for 8GB RAM, and the Samsung Galaxy F16 5G for its listed 1080p display. Choose the Galaxy M06 5G only after deciding that its 12-band support and stated update policy matter more than its reported 4GB RAM and the extra cost of a charger. Whichever model you select, re-check the live Indian price, exact variant, seller, warranty, bands and box contents on the day you order.
