As of October 13, 2026, Google lists the Fitbit Edge for purchase in 20 markets. The list includes Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States (except Puerto Rico). A listing means the regional Google Store serves the device; it does not guarantee that a unit is in stock or that every feature is offered in your country.
To check your own situation, match your country to the list, open that region’s Google Store Edge page, and confirm local stock, delivery to your address, checkout eligibility, price, and regional feature support. Google requires the shipping address to be in the same region as the Google Store site used for the order.

Use the Google Store Help regional device list as the starting point. It is the official country-level indication that Google Store purchasing is supported. A country missing from that list is not proof that no seller anywhere carries the tracker; it only means the Google Store list does not establish direct Store availability there.

What an official country listing does—and does not—mean
It confirms Store-region eligibility
When your country appears, Google is identifying a Store region in which the Fitbit Edge can be offered. You still need to open that region’s live product page to see whether the item is available to order, available only for preorder, or temporarily unavailable.
It does not guarantee inventory
Google separates regional eligibility from live stock. A product can be listed for a country while the page shows out of stock. If that happens, Google may offer an email notification option. The notification tells you when the product returns, but it does not reserve a tracker and does not guarantee the price, discount, or promotion in effect when you receive the message.
It does not make every feature universal
Google’s launch announcement says Fitbit Edge features can vary by country or region. Therefore, a successful checkout does not establish that every health, software, or service feature works for every buyer. Check the regional feature disclosures on the product page and any linked support documentation before paying.

Google’s purchasing rule is explicit: “To buy a device from the Google Store, your shipping address must be in the same region as the Google Store site you want to buy it from.” In practice, selecting a Store page for another country does not let you send the order to your home address in a different region.
How to check Fitbit Edge availability step by step
1. Match your country to Google’s list
- Open Learn about devices and services available in your region.
- Find the Fitbit Edge section and compare your actual shipping country with the 20 markets listed above.
- For the United States, treat Puerto Rico separately because Google’s entry excludes it.
Use the country where the package will be delivered, not a nearby country, a billing-country assumption, or the location of a temporary trip. Store regions govern delivery and checkout.
2. Open the matching regional Google Store
From the regional Store site, open the Fitbit Edge product page. Confirm that the page is using your country’s currency and language where applicable. A page that you reached through a search result or a shared link can still be set to a different region, so check the Store country selector before proceeding.
3. Check whether ordering is live
Look for the current purchase state on the product page. The button may indicate an ordinary purchase, a preorder, or that the item is unavailable. Add the correct edition to the cart only after confirming that the page accepts your delivery country and shows a deliverable address during checkout.
4. Verify delivery to your exact address
Enter the real delivery address during checkout. Google’s same-region requirement means that a country appearing on the help page is not enough if the address is outside that Store region. The checkout flow is the practical test of whether Google will deliver to your location.

5. Record local price and edition details
Read the amount shown on your regional page rather than converting a United States price. Currency, taxes, offers, and edition availability can differ by market. The product page is the appropriate source for the price you would actually be offered at that time.
6. Review regional feature information
Before placing the order, open the feature or specifications information linked from your local page. Confirm that the health and software functions you need are listed for your country. Google’s announcement specifically warns that feature availability varies by region, so purchase eligibility alone is not a feature guarantee.
7. Use the stock alert if necessary
If the page is out of stock, choose the Google Store back-in-stock email option when it is available. Treat the message as an alert only: it does not hold inventory, reserve a device, or lock in today’s price or promotional terms. Return to the product page when notified and repeat the delivery and feature checks before ordering.
What if your country is not listed?
Check reputable local retail channels
Google announced that retail partners would carry the Fitbit Edge, so a country absent from the Google Store list may still have a legitimate local sales route. The announcement does not provide a country-by-country partner directory. You therefore need to identify a seller operating in your market and verify its authorization independently.
Confirm the protections you would receive
Before buying from a local seller or importing from another region, check:
- Whether the seller is an authorized retail partner or an established retailer with a verifiable business identity.
- Where returns must be sent and how long the return window lasts.
- Which warranty entity handles repairs or replacement in your country.
- Whether the seller will deliver to your address and under what terms.
- Whether the edition and advertised features are intended for your region.
A retailer’s possession of stock is not the same as Google Store support in your country. Keep the seller’s invoice and read its local warranty and return terms before payment.
Be cautious with cross-border Store pages
Trying to order from a neighboring country’s Google Store can fail at checkout because the shipping address must match the Store region. Even if an order is accepted through an intermediary address, you would still need to establish how returns, warranty service, and region-dependent features work for your actual country. The official sources do not establish a general cross-border support policy, so do not assume one.

The announcement’s prices are not a worldwide price list. Do not treat a dollar amount as the price in Australia, Europe, Japan, Singapore, or another market, and do not assume that both editions are offered in every country on the 20-market list.
How to interpret common availability results
Your country is listed, but the page says out of stock
This is a stock problem, not evidence that the country has been removed from the supported Store regions. Sign up for the official back-in-stock message, then revisit the product page when alerted. Because the alert does not reserve inventory or preserve a promotion, check the cart and checkout details again.
Your country is listed, but checkout rejects the address
First verify that the Store site is set to the same country as the delivery address. Then remove any saved address from another region and enter the destination manually. If the regional Store and address still do not match, the Google Store rule prevents that order route; look for a local retail partner instead.
The page is available, but a feature you need is missing
Do not infer feature support from the hardware listing alone. Compare the regional feature disclosure with your requirements. Google states that features vary by region or country, so a device that can be purchased in your market may not expose every function described in global promotional material.
You are in Puerto Rico
The Google Store list names the United States but expressly excludes Puerto Rico. Do not assume that a US Store page will ship there. Check whether a Puerto Rico-specific Store route or an authorized local retailer offers the Edge, and confirm warranty and feature support before ordering.
A local seller has a device even though Google’s list omits your country
That can be a genuine retail option, because Google says partners will carry the product. Verify the seller’s authorization, return process, warranty coverage, delivery terms, edition, and regional features. The official announcement does not identify which partner serves each country, so the seller must substantiate those details.
Google Store versus a local retailer
Use the route that satisfies all four checks: the country or seller serves your market, the item is actually in stock, the device can be delivered to you, and the edition’s features and after-sales protections fit your needs.

Is a country listing enough to prove I can buy today?
No. The list establishes that Google serves the market, while the product page establishes the current state. A preorder label, an out-of-stock notice, or an address rejection changes what you can do immediately.

Does the 20-market count include every territory served by those countries?
No. Treat each entry as the specific Store region Google names. The clearest exception is the United States entry, which expressly excludes Puerto Rico. Do not extend the list to territories or overseas regions without a separate Store confirmation.
Can I use a friend’s address in a listed country?
The same-region rule concerns the shipping address used for the order. A third-party address may solve delivery-region validation, but it does not answer who handles returns, warranty service, taxes, or region-dependent features for the person who will actually use the tracker. Confirm those protections before relying on an intermediary.
Will the back-in-stock email preserve the launch price?
No. Google says the notification does not reserve a device or guarantee the price, discount, or promotion available when stock returns. Recheck the displayed price and terms when you receive the message.

Is buying from a retailer automatically safer in an unlisted country?
No. It may be the only practical route, but authorization, returns, warranty handling, delivery, edition, and regional features still need verification. Google’s announcement says partners will carry the device but does not name a partner for each country.
Timing your check around launch
The October 12 announcement placed the Edge in preorder and scheduled store-shelf availability for October 27, 2026. If you are checking before October 27, a preorder status may be expected rather than an error. If you are checking after that date, the page may still show limited stock or a delayed delivery estimate. In either case, rely on the live regional page instead of assuming that the announced shelf date means immediate delivery in every listed market.
Availability can also differ between the Google Store and a retail partner. One route may show a preorder while another has stock, or a partner may carry one edition but not the other. Compare the exact model, seller, delivery promise, and after-sales terms rather than treating any single “available” label as conclusive.
