Use Starlink’s official availability map to check the exact location where you will install the dish. Enter the complete Venezuelan service address, choose the matching autocomplete result, and review the status, kit and plan options shown for that address. A country-level statement that Starlink serves Venezuela is not confirmation that every address can order service.
The map may show Available or Coming Soon. Continue into the address-specific order flow before buying hardware, because capacity, regulatory approval, plan eligibility and a possible address-dependent demand surcharge can change the result.
What Starlink’s address check actually confirms
Starlink evaluates availability against the service address you submit, not simply the country, state, province or nearest city. The dish must be installed at the location entered in the checker. A nearby address, postal region or general map color can produce a misleading impression if the selected location has different capacity or regulatory status.
The map’s Available and Coming Soon labels are the first screening result. Starlink explains that a pending area can be waiting for service coverage or regulatory approval. “Coming Soon” therefore does not mean that an order can be activated immediately, and “Available” still needs to be confirmed in the order flow for the exact address and account.
#1 Best Overall
- Starlink provides reliable high-speed, low-latency, internet wherever you live
- Service plan required, activate STARLINK by selecting a service plan that is customized to meet your personal needs
- Select from plans suited for households or travel
- Get online in minutes, set up STARLINK with just 2-steps, plug it in and point at the sky
- STARLINK comes with everything needed to get online including a kickstand, gen 3-router, cables and power supply
The most reliable sequence is: check the address, select a plan and kit that the order page actually offers, then verify the account country and all one-time and recurring charges before payment.
Prepare the information you need
- Exact installation address: Use the property where the Starlink dish will operate. Include street details, municipality and any apartment, building or unit information that appears in the address suggestions.
- A matching map suggestion: Starlink’s autocomplete list may contain several nearby locations. Choose the result that identifies the installation site, rather than accepting the first city-level result.
- Your intended account country: Starlink says the country used on the website must match the country registered on the account for activation. A Venezuela installation should be checked with the Venezuela country setting and a matching account.
- Your equipment situation: Decide whether you need a newly purchased kit, already have a Starlink device, or are an existing Roam customer. Venezuela has different routes for each case.
- Time to review the complete order: Availability, capacity and local commercial terms can change. Save the result only as a record of what the page showed at that time, not as a permanent guarantee.
Check the address on Starlink’s map
-
Open the official availability map
Go to Starlink’s Availability Map. Look for the control labelled Service Address and the prompt Check Availability and Plans in Your Area. Use Starlink’s own map rather than relying on a reseller’s coverage graphic or a statement that the country is served.
-
Enter the complete Venezuelan service address
Type the address where the antenna will be installed. Do not enter only “Caracas,” “Maracaibo” or another nearby city if the property is elsewhere. If the site is rural, enter the most precise road, settlement or locality information that the map accepts.

Select the matching autocomplete result
Wait for Starlink’s suggestions and select the entry that corresponds to the physical installation point. Check the map pin and the displayed locality before continuing. If the pin is at the wrong property, edit the address and choose another suggestion.
-
Read the status shown for that location
Record whether the address is marked Available or Coming Soon. Starlink’s explanatory text associates a pending result with coverage or regulatory approval. Do not treat a colored area covering a whole region as proof that your individual address can be activated now.

-
Open the plans and order details
Continue from the address result to see the kit and plans offered for that location. Starlink’s Standard Kit instructions direct customers to enter a service address and select Order now when the kit is available. The options on this next page are more useful than a general country-level coverage claim because they reflect the selected address.
-
Check the country and account before submitting
Confirm that the order flow identifies Venezuela and that the account’s registration country matches. If the country is wrong, stop and correct it before buying equipment; Starlink’s activation guidance warns that a country mismatch can prevent activation.

Interpret each possible map result
Available
An Available result means Starlink is presenting that location as serviceable in the current map and order flow. It does not fix the price, guarantee a particular plan, or reserve capacity indefinitely. Continue until you can see the kit, plan, shipping or collection method and any one-time charge for the address.
Coming Soon
Coming Soon means the map is not offering normal immediate service at the selected location. Starlink says the reason can be pending coverage or regulatory approval. Do not purchase a kit elsewhere on the assumption that hardware alone will bypass this status. Recheck the address later through the same map and use Starlink support if the status conflicts with an order or activation screen.
An unclear pin, duplicate address or broad coverage area
When several suggestions appear, repeat the search with more address detail and inspect the pin. If the map shows a broad shaded region but no clear address result, treat the address as unconfirmed until the order flow accepts it. A country or regional claim cannot establish eligibility at a particular property.

Confirm what the order flow offers
After the map accepts the address, review every item tied to that location:
- Plan name: Note whether the page offers a fixed Residential plan, Roam or another option. Do not assume a plan is available merely because it exists in another country or at another address.
- Activation timing: Look for language indicating immediate activation, a pending area or a capacity limitation.
- Hardware: Confirm that the offered kit is the Starlink Standard Kit or another model explicitly listed for that address. A kit purchased from an unrelated listing is not automatically authorized or activatable.
- One-time charges: Venezuela’s support guidance says a new Residential activation may include a one-time demand surcharge that varies by service address. The amount must be read in the current address-specific flow.
- Recurring service charge: Record the recurring amount and billing currency shown for the selected plan. The official guidance does not establish one universal Venezuela price for every address.
- Purchase route: Determine whether the page directs you to order online or obtain the kit through an approved local retailer.
Save a screenshot or written record of the final address, plan and charges if you need to compare the result later. Recheck immediately before payment because capacity and terms can change.
Venezuela-specific ways to obtain and activate service
Starlink’s Venezuela support guidance describes several routes. Which route applies depends on whether you are a new customer, already have a Roam subscription or possess a Starlink device.
| Customer situation | Route described in Starlink’s guidance | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| New customer who needs equipment | Obtain a newly purchased kit through an approved local retailer and activate it on the eligible Venezuela account. | That the retailer is currently approved, has stock, and the kit can be activated at your exact service address. |
| Existing Starlink customer on Roam | Use the existing Roam service under the Venezuela-specific rules. | Whether the current account and device can continue operating at the intended location and what plan changes are permitted. |
| Customer bringing an existing device | Bring the device and activate Roam where the address and capacity rules allow it. | Device eligibility, account-country match and whether the location is capacity-limited. |
| Customer seeking fixed home service | Use the discounted fixed Residential plan described for Venezuela when the address flow offers it. | Current eligibility, any address-dependent demand surcharge and the one-kit-per-account limit. |
The support page identifies Daka, Multimax and Soytechno as approved local kit retailers. It also says that online purchase directly from Starlink in Venezuela is not yet available under the guidance shown on that page. Retailer approval and stock are changeable, so confirm both before travelling to a store or paying a third party.
Venezuela’s guidance states that each account is limited to one kit. If a household needs more than one installation, do not assume that adding another device to the same account will be accepted; ask Starlink how the current account and address rules apply.

Understand capacity, Residential and Roam restrictions
Capacity can determine whether an apparently serviceable address can activate a particular plan. Starlink’s general activation guidance says Standard and Priority plans cannot be activated in capacity-limited areas. When capacity is unavailable, that guidance describes Roam as a possible activation option, but it also warns that switching back to Standard or Priority may be restricted until capacity opens.
| Option or status | What it means for your decision |
|---|---|
| Fixed Residential | Use this for a fixed installation when it is shown for the Venezuelan address. Check the current recurring charge, any one-time demand surcharge and the local one-kit rule. |
| Roam | May be presented for an existing customer, an imported device or a capacity-limited location. Availability and later plan changes depend on the address and account; do not treat Roam as a guaranteed substitute for Residential. |
| Standard or Priority in a capacity-limited area | Starlink’s activation help says these plans cannot be activated while capacity is unavailable. The page may direct you to wait or use an eligible Roam route instead. |
| Coming Soon | The map associates this status with pending coverage or regulatory approval. It is not an immediate activation confirmation. |
When more than one eligible option appears, compare the plan’s intended use, whether activation is immediate, the one-time address charge, the recurring charge and the purchase source. Choose only from options displayed for your address and account.
Check the kit source before buying
The Standard Kit is the physical product relevant to a reader whose address is serviceable and who needs hardware. Starlink’s kit instructions are address-based: enter the service address and select Order now where the kit is offered. In Venezuela, however, the country-specific support guidance directs customers toward approved local retailers and says direct online purchase is not yet available under that guidance.
- Confirm the retailer’s current approval directly in Starlink’s Venezuela support information or with Starlink support.
- Ask whether the exact kit version is intended for activation in Venezuela.
- Obtain proof of purchase and the device identifier needed for account activation.
- Do not assume that a marketplace listing, imported kit or used device will activate at your address.
- Before opening or installing equipment, make sure the intended account country is Venezuela and that the order flow accepts the service address.
Resolve common availability and activation problems
| What you see | Likely issue | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The map returns no precise address | The address format or locality is too broad for the autocomplete database. | Try additional street, municipality or settlement details, then inspect each pin. Do not substitute a nearby city. |
| The map says Available but checkout shows no plan | Capacity, account country or plan eligibility may differ between the map preview and the order flow. | Re-enter the address, verify the country setting and continue through the account flow. Use the plan actually offered there as the authoritative result. |
| The map says Coming Soon | Coverage or regulatory approval is still pending. | Do not buy hardware solely to bypass the status. Recheck later and ask Starlink support whether a Roam route is permitted for your circumstances. |
| Activation rejects the account country | The website country and account registration country do not match. | Correct the account-country details before activation. Starlink’s guidance specifically warns that the countries must match. |
| Standard or Priority cannot activate | The address is capacity-limited. | Review whether the order flow offers Roam, understanding that later switching to Standard or Priority may remain restricted until capacity opens. |
| A retailer offers a kit but Starlink will not activate it | The seller, kit or address may not meet current Venezuelan eligibility rules. | Pause installation and contact Starlink support with the service address, account country and device details. Do not create multiple accounts to bypass a limitation. |
| The total cost is higher than expected | A one-time demand surcharge may apply to a new Residential activation and can vary by address. | Read the exact charge in the current address-specific order flow before payment; do not rely on a price quoted for another Venezuelan address. |
Use this pre-purchase checklist
- Address: The map pin is at the exact installation property.
- Status: You have distinguished Available from Coming Soon and understand what the label means.
- Plan: The selected plan is explicitly offered for this address and account.
- Capacity: The flow does not show a restriction that blocks the intended plan.
- Country: The order website and Starlink account both identify Venezuela.
- Hardware: The kit source is approved or explicitly accepted in the current Venezuela instructions.
- Charges: You have recorded the recurring service charge and any one-time demand surcharge shown for the address.
- Account limit: You have considered the rule limiting each Venezuelan account to one kit.
- Activation route: You know whether activation uses a new local kit, an existing Roam account or an existing device.
When to recheck the address
Recheck if you move, change the installation property, switch accounts, receive a different plan offer or wait through a “Coming Soon” period. Availability is not a permanent country-wide entitlement: capacity, regulatory approval, retailer status, plan eligibility and address-dependent charges can change.
