Start with your designated bank account, not only the brokerage app. For Lucky Cement book-entry shares, the company’s payment route is electronic credit to the shareholder’s registered bank account when a complete 24-digit IBAN e-mandate is on file. Your broker or CDC records may show the entitlement and corporate-action entry, but they may not be where the cash is deposited. Check the Lucky Cement announcement, your bank transaction history, CDC Access, and the broker’s ledger in that order, then ask the correct record owner to trace any discrepancy.
What “credited” means for a Lucky Cement dividend
There are three related records, and each answers a different question:

A dividend can therefore appear in one system before another is updated. Treat “declared,” “entitled,” “recorded by the broker,” and “cash received” as separate statuses. The bank transaction is the decisive evidence that money arrived; the CDC and broker records help establish why it was due and how it was handled.

Before checking transactions, make sure you are investigating the correct fiscal period and payment notice. Open Lucky Cement’s company page on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) website and locate the relevant dividend announcement. Note the entitlement conditions, the period covered, and whether the notice is an announcement of a declaration, a book-closure result, or an actual credit.

The notice currently listed for 2026
PSX currently lists an item titled “Credit of final cash dividend” dated October 9, 2026. The title confirms that a credit notice exists, but it does not establish the per-share amount, the actual transfer date, eligibility wording, or exceptions. The linked filing should be opened directly before you rely on any of those details.
A secondary summary has reported Rs. 5 per share and an October 8, 2026 credit date. That report is provisional: those figures have not been independently verified against the official filing text here. Do not use the secondary figures to decide that your payment is late, or quote them as the confirmed 2026 payout, until the PSX notice itself supports them.
Do not substitute an older amount
Lucky Cement’s directly readable October 9, 2025 PSX filing concerned the year ended June 30, 2025. It stated a final cash dividend of Rs. 4 per share, described as 200%, and said the amount had been credited electronically to designated bank accounts of shareholders who had supplied an e-mandate with a complete 24-digit IBAN. That is a historical 2025 figure; it is not evidence of the 2026 amount.

2. Check the designated bank account for the cash entry
Once you have the relevant notice and its stated credit date, search the bank account registered for dividend payments. Use the account’s online transaction history, mobile-banking app, ATM statement, or a bank-generated statement covering several days before and after the expected date.

- Open the correct account. If you have more than one account, use the one whose IBAN was supplied through your CDC participant or broker for dividend mandates. A trading-account cash balance is not automatically the designated dividend account.
- Search a sensible date range. Include the announced date and adjacent business days. Banks can post an electronic transfer with a narration or value date that differs from the date you first see it online.
- Review the full transaction description. Look for a credit that identifies Lucky Cement, a dividend, the registrar, or a corporate-action payment. Do not rely only on the running balance; open the transaction details and save the bank’s reference or narration.
- Check the amount against your entitlement. Multiply the declared per-share amount by the eligible shares, then compare that expectation with the posted credit while allowing for any deductions the issuer or bank identifies. Use the notice’s eligibility date and share count, not your current holdings, for this calculation.
- Save evidence. Download or screenshot the transaction detail showing the date, amount, account, and reference number. Keep it with the PSX notice and your broker statement.
If the bank shows the cash but the brokerage app does not, the payment has still reached you; the remaining issue is broker-side reconciliation. If the broker shows an entry but the bank does not, treat the cash as unconfirmed and proceed to the mandate and escalation checks below.
3. Use CDC Access to inspect the corporate-action record
CDC Access can provide corporate-action and dividend information, although the exact labels and menus can vary by account type and interface version. PSX describes CDC Access as available through web and app channels for relevant corporate-action information and cash-dividend records, including its Roshan Equity Investment account route.
- Sign in through the official CDC Access channel associated with your account.
- Open the area labelled for corporate actions, dividends, entitlements, or transaction history. The wording may differ between the web and mobile interfaces.
- Filter by Lucky Cement and the fiscal period or announcement date you identified on PSX.
- Record what the entry says: declared, entitled, processed, paid, rejected, or another status. Also note the number of shares, gross amount, deductions, and any payment or reference date displayed.
- Save or export the record if the service offers that option. If it shows only an event and not a cash confirmation, use the bank statement for the final payment test.
Do not assume that an empty or delayed CDC display means the dividend was not paid. Interface coverage depends on the account route and update cycle. Conversely, a corporate-action entry alone does not replace evidence of the bank credit.
4. Reconcile the broker’s ledger and statement
Broker systems use different names for the same information. Look for an account ledger, cash ledger, transaction history, corporate-actions page, or downloadable account statement. If the app has separate securities and cash views, inspect both.

- Set the date range. Include the expected payment date and several surrounding days.
- Search the security or narration. Use “Lucky Cement,” the company symbol shown by your broker, “dividend,” or “cash dividend.”
- Read the complete entry. Capture the posting date, quantity used for entitlement, gross dividend, displayed deductions, net amount, and any reversal or adjustment.
- Compare with the bank. If the broker statement says the amount was transferred to your designated bank account, match its value and reference against the bank transaction. If the broker instead credits an internal cash balance, verify whether your mandate route is supposed to use that balance or an external bank transfer.
- Download the period statement. A PDF or CSV statement is more useful to support staff than a cropped app screen because it includes the account number, opening and closing balances, and transaction references.
PSX advises investors to review broker statements and CDC sub-account statements periodically and to raise discrepancies with the broker. Ask the broker to explain any difference between its gross entitlement, the amount it says was paid, and the amount appearing at the bank.
5. Verify the IBAN, e-mandate and CNIC records
Lucky Cement’s 2025 notice makes the payment condition explicit: electronic credit was made to designated bank accounts where an e-mandate with a complete 24-digit IBAN had been provided. It also said payments were withheld for shareholders who had not supplied IBAN numbers and/or valid CNIC copies.
What to confirm
- The IBAN is complete and has 24 characters, rather than a shortened account number or an incorrectly entered digit.
- The bank account belongs to the shareholder record used for the dividend and is still active.
- The e-mandate is registered with the relevant CDC participant or broker, not merely saved in your banking app.
- Your CNIC information and copy, where required, are valid and match the shareholder record.
- Any change of bank account was submitted before the issuer’s cut-off date for that dividend.
For book-entry shares, contact the CDC participant or broker that maintains your sub-account and ask it to read back the registered mandate status. Do not email a full CNIC or bank statement to an unverified address; use the participant’s authenticated support channel and follow its document-submission instructions.

The bank has no dividend, and the broker has no entry
First confirm that you were eligible on the notice’s relevant date and that the notice was a credit notice rather than only a declaration. Then ask the CDC participant or broker to verify your share entitlement, 24-digit IBAN, CNIC status, and e-mandate registration. A missing mandate or invalid identity record can cause withholding even when the dividend was validly declared.

The broker shows a dividend, but the bank has no cash
Request the broker’s payment reference, transfer date, destination account details (without asking it to disclose information you are not entitled to), and an explanation of whether the entry is an internal accrual or a completed bank transfer. Check that the bank account you searched is the same account on the mandate. If the broker cannot prove the transfer, ask it to open a payment trace.
The bank has cash, but the broker statement is missing it
Provide the bank transaction reference and date to the broker and request a ledger correction or reconciliation. The payment route may have completed outside the broker’s cash view, so ask for a written explanation of how the entitlement should appear in the statement.
The amount is different from your calculation
Recalculate from the eligible share count and the official per-share amount in the notice, not from your current holdings. Then compare gross and net figures separately. Ask the broker or registrar to identify each displayed deduction and any fractional, rejected, or corrected entry. Do not treat the 2025 Rs. 4 figure as a benchmark for a later year.

The records disagree about your name or identity
Stop sending duplicate mandates until the mismatch is explained. Ask the CDC participant or broker which shareholder record is being used, what CNIC status it has, and whether a correction must be made through the participant, the registrar, or the bank. Keep the original notice and all correspondence so the correction can be tied to one dividend event.

7. Escalate to the organization that owns the missing record

PSX identifies CDC Share Registrar Services Limited as Lucky Cement’s registrar. Ask the broker or CDC participant to confirm whether your case must be routed to the registrar; do not assume the registrar can correct a bank-side posting or a broker ledger on its own.
When opening a complaint, state one precise request: for example, “Please confirm whether the final cash dividend for the stated fiscal year was transferred, identify the registered 24-digit IBAN, and provide the payment reference.” Attach the PSX notice, the relevant bank transaction page, the broker ledger, and the CDC record. Redact unrelated balances, passwords, one-time codes, and unnecessary identity numbers.
8. A repeatable verification checklist
- Locate the correct Lucky Cement dividend notice on the PSX company page.
- Read the official filing for the fiscal period, entitlement conditions, amount, and credit wording.
- Search the designated bank account around the stated credit date.
- Record the bank narration, value date, amount, and transaction reference.
- Review the Lucky Cement entry in CDC Access or the relevant corporate-action view.
- Download the broker ledger or statement and compare its gross, deductions, net amount, and posting date.
- Confirm the complete 24-digit IBAN, e-mandate, valid CNIC record, and correct CDC participant.
- Escalate to the bank, broker/CDC participant, or registrar according to which record is missing.
- Keep one evidence bundle containing the notice, bank record, CDC entry, broker statement, and support correspondence.
What can be concluded about the latest and prior payments
The October 9, 2026 PSX listing establishes that Lucky Cement posted a final-dividend credit notice on that date. Until the linked filing is read, the amount, transfer date, eligibility language, and exceptions remain unconfirmed. The reported Rs. 5 per share and October 8, 2026 date should therefore be treated only as unverified secondary information.
The October 9, 2025 filing is specific and usable as a description of the payment mechanism: Rs. 4 per share for the year ended June 30, 2025, paid electronically to designated bank accounts when a complete 24-digit IBAN e-mandate was available, with withholding where IBAN and/or valid CNIC information was missing. It explains why a brokerage screen alone cannot prove that cash reached you, while also showing why mandate and identity records must be checked when a payment is absent.
