A “Live” label tells you the devotional stream is live when you check; it does not prove it stayed live without interruption for the previous 24 hours. If you manage the channel, check its status and elapsed duration in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. If you are a viewer, check at recorded intervals and treat each check as a snapshot—not proof of what happened between them.

Check whether it is live now, scheduled, or a replay

Open the channel’s stream and look for its current status. YouTube distinguishes “Live Now,” “Upcoming,” and “Live Replay” in Studio. “Upcoming” is a scheduled event, while “Live Replay” is an archived video of a stream that has already happened; neither means the channel is broadcasting live at this moment. See YouTube’s guidance on creating a live stream.

A live indicator is useful for answering one narrow question: is the stream live at the time you viewed it? It does not show whether the broadcast was interrupted earlier or will continue later.

If you are watching as a viewer

Take timestamped observations

  1. Open the channel’s live stream and confirm it is presented as live, not as an upcoming event or replay.
  2. Note the date and time of your check, including the time zone, and what the watch page showed.
  3. Check again at intervals during the period you want to verify. Each observation confirms the status only at that moment.

Repeated checks can show that a stream was live at several observed times. They cannot establish that it remained uninterrupted between those checks. The sources cited here do not document a public viewer-facing uptime history for a channel.

Do not use pause, rewind, or resume as a continuity test

YouTube’s DVR feature can let viewers pause and seek back during a live stream, but DVR behavior is not a record of uninterrupted operation. YouTube says DVR may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours; device and older-app limitations can also apply. A viewer may also be watching behind the live point. See YouTube’s DVR guidance.

If you own or manage the channel

Check the active stream in Live Control Room

  1. Open YouTube Studio and go to the Live Control Room for the active stream.
  2. Check the stream status and any displayed error messages.
  3. Check the elapsed duration while the stream is running. YouTube’s live metrics documentation describes status information and duration in real-time analytics: See your live stream’s metrics.

The displayed duration is the most direct platform-side check available here for the runtime of the current event. If you need evidence that the stream remained continuous—not just that it has accumulated elapsed time—keep additional monitoring or records. The cited YouTube guidance does not describe a public uptime history that viewers can consult.

After the stream ends

Post-stream analytics include duration, but an archived video is not a dependable record for a very long broadcast. YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. That is an archive-capture limit, not a statement that streams longer than 12 hours cannot run. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.

Or let it run in the cloud

If you run a devotional YouTube channel and want an uploaded recording or playlist to keep playing without leaving a computer on, StreamNeo runs the stream from the cloud. Upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It plays uploaded videos; it does not broadcast from a camera, and it streams to YouTube only.
