To check a TCS dividend, find the event on TCS’s Dividend Payment Details page, compare its record date with your registered shareholding, and use the listed payment date as the scheduled—not guaranteed—date of bank credit. If payment is missing, check your registered bank and KYC details, search TCS’s unpaid-dividend records, and contact its registrar with your folio number or DP ID and Client ID. Check tax deducted at source separately in the applicable tax-credit statement.
How do I check TCS dividend dates?
Open TCS Investor Relations and select Dividend Payment Details. Find the fiscal year and quarter, then identify whether the event is an interim, final, or special dividend. The schedule lists the amount per share, record date, actual payment date, and deadline for submitting TDS exemption forms. TCS says it also notifies dividend dates to BSE and NSE. Check the live schedule for the event you need; its past pattern does not establish the date or amount of a future dividend.

How do I check TCS dividend eligibility?
Eligibility is based on the shareholder or beneficial-owner records applicable on the event’s record date. Compare that date with the records for the shares; the announcement date or payment date is not the date used to determine the holder list.

What should I check if a TCS dividend is not credited?
First, compare the date you are checking against the event’s published payment date. The schedule gives a scheduled payment date; it cannot confirm whether an individual transfer succeeded, was returned, or went to the registered account.

For demat holdings, check the bank account details linked to the demat record with your depository participant. For physical holdings, check that the company or registrar has current KYC and bank information. TCS’s FY 2025-26 final-dividend notice specified electronic payment only and called for current bank details for demat shares and current KYC details for physical shares.
- Search TCS’s unpaid-dividend information. TCS says a declared dividend not claimed within 30 days is transferred to its Unpaid Dividend Account, and shareholder details are available online. Use the unpaid-dividend information linked from its Investor FAQs.
- Contact the registrar. Write to MUFG Intime, TCS’s registrar and transfer agent, with your physical folio number or your demat DP ID and Client ID. TCS provides the registrar’s mailing details in the Investor Contacts section of its investor site.
How do I claim an older unclaimed TCS dividend?
TCS’s investor FAQ says dividends unclaimed for seven consecutive years are transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). If the dividend—or shares associated with it—has been transferred to IEPF, the claim route is Form IEPF-5. Use the IEPF-related shareholder information linked from TCS’s Investor FAQs to check the relevant status and claim instructions.

Where can I check TDS on a TCS dividend?
Tax deducted at source (TDS) reporting is separate from the bank payment. TCS says tax credits for transactions in Tax Year 2026-27 are reflected in Form 168; for transactions through FY 2025-26, it identifies Form 26AS. TCS also says the credit appears only after it files its quarterly TDS return and the tax authorities process it, so a bank credit and a tax-statement entry may appear at different times.
For earlier-year Form 26AS, TCS gives this Income Tax portal path: E-file → Income Tax Return → View Form 26AS, then proceed to View Tax Credit (Form 26AS). Follow the portal’s current directions when checking a statement.

TCS’s current FAQ describes 10% TDS for a resident individual with updated PAN when aggregate dividend payable during the tax year exceeds ₹10,000, and no TDS below that threshold. For nonresident shareholders, it describes 20% plus applicable surcharge and cess, subject to treaty relief when required documents are submitted. These are time-sensitive, status-dependent statements, not a personal tax calculation; PAN status, residency, treaty eligibility, timing, and applicable law can affect withholding.

- The TCS dividend schedule can confirm the event’s published amount and dates.
- The record used for the cited event can help you check whether your holding appears to have qualified on the record date.
- TCS’s unpaid-dividend records and MUFG Intime can help trace an unclaimed amount.
- The applicable tax-credit statement can show reported TDS after filing and processing.
- Public pages cannot confirm your individual registered bank account, beneficial ownership on the record date, successful payment or return, or personal tax liability.
