Use Felix Mobile’s official network coverage checker to test an address, suburb, or postcode. It shows separate predicted 4G and 5G results using the labels Good, Moderate, Basic, or No Coverage. If the result and your phone’s actual service disagree, check Felix’s network status checker for an outage, upgrade, or maintenance event.
Check Felix coverage at an address
The checker is free and does not require you to own a 5G phone. It accepts an address, suburb, or postcode and can refine its prediction when you select your device type.
- Open felixmobile.com.au/network.
- Find the coverage checker near the top of the page.
- Enter the street address, suburb, or postcode you want to test.
- Review the separate 4G and 5G results.
- Record the category shown for each network: Good, Moderate, Basic, or No Coverage.
- If the checker offers a device selector, choose the phone or device you intend to use. Felix says this can make the prediction more accurate.
Run the check for the exact place where you expect to use the service. A home address, workplace and a travel destination can produce different results even when they are in the same suburb.
What you need before starting
You do not need a Felix SIM, an active account or a 5G handset simply to view a map result. Have the location details ready and, if you are assessing an existing phone, note its exact device type. Checking the address first lets you separate a coverage question from a handset or account question.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
If you are choosing between several places, check each one separately rather than assuming that a suburb-wide result applies to every street. For a home, use the address where the phone will normally be used. For work, check the workplace rather than your home address. If you are planning a trip, test the destination and any other location where reliable service matters.
What the coverage labels mean
Felix publishes four result labels. They are modelled predictions, not a measurement taken inside your building, so none of them guarantees a particular speed, signal strength or connection experience.
| Checker result | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Good Coverage | The checker predicts the strongest of Felix’s listed coverage categories for that location. Actual indoor performance can still vary. |
| Moderate Coverage | The checker predicts usable coverage with more potential variation than the Good category. Test the exact address and your device before relying on it. |
| Basic Coverage | The checker predicts limited or weaker coverage. Building materials, your position indoors, congestion and device configuration may have a noticeable effect. |
| No Coverage | The checker predicts no Felix coverage at the tested location for that network type. Recheck the address for typing errors and test nearby locations if you are assessing a move or travel route. |
These labels describe Felix’s prediction for the selected location; they are not promises of a minimum download speed or continuous service.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteRead the result as a range of confidence, not a speed test
A map category cannot tell you the exact number of bars you will see, a guaranteed download rate, or whether a call will remain connected in every room. The result is useful for screening a location before you sign up or travel, but it should not be treated as a live measurement. Actual use can change with the building, the phone, your position, network congestion and other local conditions.
“Good” is therefore not a promise that every indoor room will perform well, and “Basic” is not proof that service will be unusable everywhere on the property. The labels are best used to decide whether a location deserves further checking and whether you should keep a 4G fallback in mind.
How to check whether Felix 5G is available
Look specifically at the 5G result after entering your address. A 5G result on the map is only one part of the requirement. Felix says you need all of the following to use its 5G service:
- An active Felix subscription.
- A 5G-compatible phone or other compatible device.
- 5G coverage at your location.
Felix says 5G is included with its plans when those conditions are met; it does not list a separate 5G access fee on the cited plan information. The coverage check itself does not require you to buy a 5G phone. If your current device is not 5G-compatible, the map can still tell you whether 5G is predicted at the address, but that device will not connect to 5G.

The 5G column answers the location part of the question: Felix predicts 5G coverage at the address. It does not confirm that your present handset supports Felix’s 5G service, that your subscription is active, or that an indoor room will receive the signal. Check those conditions independently.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
There is no additional 5G fee identified on Felix’s 5G plan information when the subscription, compatible device and coverage requirements are satisfied. A new phone is only relevant if the device you already have is not compatible and you want to use 5G. Do not buy equipment solely to run the address check.
What happens when 5G is unavailable
Felix says a compatible device may use 4G when 5G is unavailable, provided 4G coverage is present. Therefore, check both columns rather than treating a “No Coverage” 5G result as a complete loss of mobile service.
| 4G result | 5G result | Practical reading |
|---|---|---|
| Coverage shown | Coverage shown | A compatible device and active subscription can potentially use 5G where the conditions are met, with 4G available as an alternative. |
| Coverage shown | No Coverage | Expect 4G rather than 5G at that address, assuming your subscription and device support Felix service. |
| No Coverage | Coverage shown | Do not assume 5G will work: Felix’s published conditions include coverage and a compatible device, and the two map predictions should be rechecked for the exact address. |
| No Coverage | No Coverage | The checker predicts neither network type at the tested location. Verify the location details and consult Felix if the result conflicts with current service. |
The combinations are planning clues, not guarantees. A displayed 5G area still requires the active subscription and compatible device, while a 4G result can be the practical fallback when 5G is absent.

Why the map can differ from reception inside your home
Felix describes the map as predicted coverage outdoors at ground level. It is not a live signal reading from inside your house, office or vehicle. Indoor reception can change substantially because of the building’s construction and your position within it.
- Building materials: Walls, insulation, coated glass and other construction features can weaken an indoor signal.
- Position: A window, upper floor or exterior room may behave differently from a basement or interior room.
- Device compatibility and configuration: A phone must support the relevant network technology and be configured to use it.
- Network conditions: Congestion and other local conditions can affect the experience even when the map predicts coverage.
- Location precision: A postcode-level search may not represent every street or building within that postcode, so use the most specific address the checker accepts.
For these reasons, read Good, Moderate, Basic and No Coverage as screening estimates. Do not convert a category into a guaranteed number of bars, speed or indoor reliability.
A sensible way to validate an important location
If the address is critical for work, travel or a move, use the map as the first check and then test the phone in the places where it will actually be used. Compare an indoor location with an outdoor location when it is safe and practical. Try the room, floor or work area that matters, because a result modelled outdoors at ground level cannot reproduce every indoor condition.
Keep the address and device selection consistent when comparing results. Changing both at once makes it difficult to tell whether a different outcome came from the location or the handset. Also distinguish a persistent indoor limitation from a temporary network event by checking Felix’s status page.
What to do when the prediction and your service disagree
Work through the checks below in order. They separate a map limitation from a temporary network event or a device problem.

1. Confirm the location and network column
Return to the checker, correct any spelling or unit number, and check the 4G and 5G results separately. Make sure you are comparing the result for the same address and the same network type as the service you are testing.
If you initially used only a postcode, repeat the search with the most specific address accepted by the checker. Save or note both displayed categories so you do not accidentally compare a 5G result with a 4G experience.
2. Confirm the 5G prerequisites
If you are troubleshooting 5G, verify that your Felix subscription is active and that the device is 5G-compatible. A 5G-capable address cannot make an incompatible phone connect to 5G.
Also check that you selected the device type, if the checker provided that option. Felix says the selection can make the prediction more accurate. If another compatible device is available, comparing it at the same location can help identify a device-specific issue, although the map itself remains a prediction.
3. Check for an outage or planned work
Open Felix’s network status checker. Felix uses that page for reported outages, upgrades and maintenance. A temporary event can explain a loss of service even when the coverage map predicts service at the address.
This check is especially important when service changed suddenly. A coverage category is not a live incident report, so it cannot show whether Felix is currently performing work or dealing with an outage.
4. Compare an indoor and outdoor test
If it is safe and practical, compare the phone in the building with a location outdoors. A large difference supports Felix’s warning that its map models outdoor, ground-level coverage rather than indoor reception.

6. Avoid drawing conclusions from one moment
Network conditions can affect the experience even when the predicted category is unchanged. Record whether the problem occurs indoors, outdoors, on 4G, on 5G or across both network types. That observation helps you compare the live experience with the appropriate map result and status information without treating one brief test as a permanent coverage verdict.
Coverage map versus network status checker
These Felix tools answer different questions:
| Tool | Question it answers | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Network coverage checker | What coverage does Felix predict at this address? | Before joining Felix, moving, travelling, or checking expected 4G and 5G availability. |
| Network status checker | Is Felix reporting an outage, upgrade or maintenance event now? | When your current service is failing or does not match the coverage prediction. |
The coverage map is a location forecast; the status page reports current network events. Checking only one can leave out the explanation you need.
Felix’s published coverage expansion figure
Felix said that in early 2025 it expanded into more regional areas and that its national coverage had doubled to 1,200,000 square kilometres. This is Felix Mobile’s own company statement, not an independently verified measurement in the cited material. It provides national context, but it cannot determine reception at your address; use the address-specific checker for that decision.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →The figure should not be substituted for a local result. A large national area figure does not indicate whether a particular building, street or postcode has Good, Moderate, Basic or No Coverage. Enter the location you care about and read the separate 4G and 5G predictions.
Common mistakes when checking Felix coverage
- Checking only 5G: A No Coverage 5G result does not necessarily mean there is no service; 4G may be available.
- Assuming the map is an indoor test: Felix models outdoor ground-level coverage, so a room inside a building can perform differently.
- Ignoring the device selector: Selecting the intended device can make the prediction more accurate.
- Confusing coverage with an outage: The map does not replace the separate status checker for current outages, upgrades or maintenance.
- Treating a label as a speed promise: Good, Moderate and Basic are categories, not guaranteed speeds or signal bars.
- Using a broad location when a precise one is available: Check the exact address for the place where service will be used.
- Assuming a 5G map result activates 5G automatically: An active subscription and compatible 5G device are also required.
A practical decision checklist
- Have you entered the exact address, rather than relying only on a broad area name?
- Did you inspect both 4G and 5G results?
- Did you note whether the result is Good, Moderate, Basic or No Coverage?
- Did you select your intended device when that option was available?
- For 5G, is your Felix subscription active and is the device 5G-compatible?
- Are you treating the result as outdoor ground-level modelling rather than an indoor guarantee?
- If current service is failing, did you check the network status page for an outage, upgrade or maintenance?
- If the location is important, did you compare the actual indoor area with an outdoor test where practical?
If all of these checks are complete, you have the information Felix provides for an address-based decision. Actual performance still depends on the local environment, device and current network conditions.

Why is my indoor reception worse than the map result?
Felix’s map models predicted coverage outdoors at ground level. Building construction, your position inside, device configuration, congestion and other conditions can change indoor performance.
What should I do if the map says coverage is available but my phone has no service?
Recheck the exact address and both network results, confirm the 5G prerequisites if relevant, and consult Felix’s network status checker for an outage, upgrade or maintenance event. You can also compare an indoor and outdoor location.
Does Felix’s 1,200,000-square-kilometre figure prove coverage at my home?
No. Felix’s early-2025 statement about national coverage is broad context. Only the address-specific checker can provide Felix’s prediction for your location.
The Bottom Line
Enter your address, suburb or postcode in Felix Mobile’s official coverage checker, inspect both 4G and 5G, and select your device when possible. Treat Good, Moderate, Basic and No Coverage as outdoor screening predictions rather than indoor or speed guarantees. For 5G, you need coverage, an active Felix subscription and a compatible device. If your real-world service does not match the map, check Felix’s network status page for outages, upgrades or maintenance.
