To change your realme lock screen, open Settings > Wallpapers & style > Wallpapers, choose an image, tap Apply, and select the lock-screen option. To use your own picture, open it in Photos and choose Set as wallpaper. The precise labels can differ by realme UI version and phone model.
Change the lock-screen wallpaper in Settings
For realme UI 6.0, realme documents this route to its wallpaper choices:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Wallpapers & style > Wallpapers.
- Choose a built-in image.
- Preview and reposition it if editing controls appear, then tap Apply.
- Select the lock-screen destination. If the phone offers separate choices for the lock screen, home screen, both, or a carousel, choose the one you want.
- Lock the phone and wake the screen to check the result.
The documented UI 6.0 path and Apply choices are in the realme UI 6.0 User Manual. Selecting only the lock screen keeps your home-screen wallpaper separate.

- Open Photos and select the picture you want.
- Tap Set as wallpaper.
- Adjust the preview if your phone provides positioning or cropping controls.
- Choose the lock screen as the destination, then apply the change.
realme’s UI 6.0 manual documents the Photos route and lets you choose between the lock-screen and home-screen destinations. Older UI documentation describes enlarging an image with two fingers or moving it to adjust its position; the controls available on your phone may differ. If the wallpaper menu looks different
Menu names and optional personalization features vary across realme UI versions and models. The older realme UI 1.0 guide, for example, gives a different wallpaper route: Settings > Home Screen and Lock Screen Magazine > Set Wallpaper. If neither documented path matches your phone, search Settings for wallpaper and follow the labels shown on your device.
Newer software may offer additional lock-screen styles, but a feature overview is not a universal setup sequence for every model. realme’s UI 7.0 overview describes a “Brand-new Vibrant Lock Screen” without establishing one step-by-step settings path for all devices. Other personalization controls can also have version-specific paths and model limits, as realme notes in its fingerprint-animation support article.
