To change mouse pointer speed on Android, open Settings and search for pointer speed or mouse. The exact menu varies by device, so use the setting your manufacturer provides. Android’s accessibility options can also enlarge the cursor, click when you stop moving it, control the pointer from a keyboard on Android 16 and up, or magnify the area around it.
Change the mouse pointer speed

Connect a mouse to your Android device by Bluetooth or USB if you have not already. Google’s Android accessibility help covers connecting and using an external mouse.

Open Settings and search for pointer speed or mouse. Choose the result that controls the mouse pointer speed, then adjust it to suit your needs. The Android platform has a mouse pointer speed setting, but Google’s user guidance does not establish one menu path that applies across all devices.

If search does not find the control, check your device maker’s instructions. For Xiaomi devices, Xiaomi documents this path: Settings > Additional settings > Language & input > Keyboard, mouse, and track pad > Pointer speed (Xiaomi support). This path is specific to Xiaomi; other manufacturers may use different labels or menus.

Make the cursor larger
To improve cursor visibility, open Settings > Accessibility > Cursor & touchpad accessibility and move the cursor-size slider. Google documents this option for Android 13 and up; the precise labels or availability can vary with device software. See Google’s cursor and touchpad accessibility instructions.
Click without pressing the mouse button
Autoclick, also called dwell timing, clicks after the pointer stays still for a set interval. It may help people with motor impairments who have difficulty pressing a physical mouse button.

Open Settings > Accessibility > Cursor & touchpad accessibility > Autoclick (Dwell timing).

Turn on Use autoclick.

Adjust the delay and click area, and choose whether minor cursor movement is ignored. You can also set the default action to revert to left-click. The available controls are described in Google’s Android accessibility help.

Control the pointer with a keyboard on Android 16 and up
Mouse Keys lets you move the pointer using keys on a physical keyboard rather than the mouse. Google says these physical keyboard accessibility features are available only on Android 16.0 and up. Mouse Keys includes controls for pointer acceleration and maximum speed; these adjust keyboard-based pointer movement and are separate from the device’s regular mouse pointer speed setting.

Magnify the view around the pointer
To make on-screen details easier to see, open Settings > Accessibility > Magnification and choose a full-screen mode that follows the mouse pointer. Google lists three options: Centered, Edge, and Continuous. Magnification can go up to 8x according to Google’s magnification guidance; available options may depend on Android version and device.
