First, check the Play Edge receipt or the account’s subscription page to see which provider bills you. The official Play Edge page describes EDGE as a game service but does not identify a billing provider or provide an accessible cancellation route, so the right steps depend on who processed your payment.
Identify who bills your Play Edge subscription
- Check the purchase receipt. Look for the company or platform that processed the charge. Search your email for the original confirmation and recent renewal receipts.
- Check subscription pages for accounts you may have used. If you subscribed through a platform, its subscription page should show the active plan. Make sure you are signed in to the account associated with the purchase.
- Use the matching provider’s cancellation process. The available official information does not establish a Play Edge-specific cancellation route for Google Play, Apple, a website, a carrier, or another billing provider. Do not assume that a particular platform billed you just because you use its device or app.
If the provider is unclear, use the receipt’s billing details to contact the company that charged you, and consult the applicable Play Edge terms for service-specific guidance.
Cancel if Google Play billed you
Google’s general instructions apply only if the subscription is listed under the Google Account that was billed. Google says to sign in to the account that holds the subscription, open Google Play’s subscriptions page, choose the subscription, select “Cancel subscription,” and follow the prompts. - Sign in to the Google Account used for the subscription.
- Open the Google Play subscriptions page.
- Select the relevant subscription.
- Tap or click “Cancel subscription” and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Review the confirmation and any plan details shown for your subscription.
Uninstalling the app does not stop billing. Google states: “When you uninstall the app, your subscription won’t cancel.”

If Play Edge is missing from Google Play subscriptions
- Check other Google Accounts you may have used. Google’s instructions require the account that has the subscription.
- Review the receipt to confirm whether Google Play processed the charge.
- If another provider appears on the receipt, cancel through that provider rather than applying Google Play’s steps.
- If you cannot identify the provider, contact the company shown on the charge or receipt before assuming the subscription is canceled.
A subscription missing from one Google Account is not proof that billing has stopped; verify the account and payment provider.
What happens after cancellation
For an ordinary Google Play subscription, cancellation stops the next renewal, while access generally continues through the period already paid for. Google notes that prepaid subscriptions and payment plans can be handled differently, so check the plan details displayed during cancellation. The available information does not verify Play Edge-specific access timing or refund terms.

Canceling by itself does not establish that you qualify for a refund. Check the current policy with the provider that billed you and the applicable Play Edge terms before relying on any refund expectation.
