Book Tirumala darshan tickets only through the official Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) website: https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. First identify your intended visit month and the ticket category that fits your circumstances. Then check TTD’s latest quota-release notice, open the portal at the stated release time, select an available date and complete the instructions currently shown.
TTD releases quotas on different dates and times for different months and categories. A date published for one quota is not a permanent annual timetable, and an announced release does not guarantee that tickets will remain available. Confirm the live calendar, eligibility terms and payment conditions immediately before you pay.
What you need before opening the booking site
A successful online booking starts with information that is easy to overlook. Decide the month you want to visit, the people in your group and the type of access you are seeking. TTD uses separate quotas for several darshan, seva and accommodation categories, so the first release you see may not be the right one for you.
- Target month: Quota notices are issued for a specific future month. Keep the intended visit month fixed while you search.
- Category: Commonly listed routes include Special Entry Darshan, SRIVANI, senior-citizen/persons-with-disabilities/chronic-disease tokens and seva-related options.
- Release notice: Find the newest TTD announcement for that month and category. Read the date and time for the exact quota rather than relying on an old calendar or a social-media post.
- Live availability: Treat the notice as the opening time, not as a reservation. Availability can change before you complete the transaction.
- Current terms: Use the portal’s current prompts for eligibility, identity information, payment and confirmation. TTD’s published notices reviewed for this guide do not establish a permanent screen-by-screen procedure.
Use the official TTD website, not a look-alike booking page
TTD’s quota notices for October and December 2026 both direct devotees to https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. Type the address yourself or verify the domain before entering personal or payment information. A page that uses a different spelling, an unfamiliar domain or a private payment request is not the official route identified in those notices.
#1 Best Overall
The official site may change its menus, labels or ordering between releases. This guide therefore describes the decisions you must make, rather than inventing buttons or fields that may not appear in your session. Follow the wording and validation messages displayed by TTD when you book.
Choose the right ticket category
The category determines which quota you should watch and whether additional eligibility rules apply. The names below are the categories identified in TTD notices; the live portal remains the authority for the current requirements.
Special Entry Darshan
Special Entry Darshan is a standard online darshan route with its own quota release. The October and December 2026 notices both gave a specific 10 AM release for this category. Do not assume that the same time applies to every future month: TTD changes the schedule in its dated announcements.

SRIVANI Trust tickets are a separate allocation and should not be treated as ordinary Special Entry Darshan. TTD has described advance, current-booking and donor-related portions of the SRIVANI quota, with eligibility and reporting conditions that can change. Read the SRIVANI announcement and the live SRIVANI booking page before selecting this route.
Senior citizen, disability and chronic-disease tokens
TTD lists tokens for senior citizens and for people with disabilities or chronic diseases as distinct options. The correct route depends on the visitor’s status and the terms shown for the relevant release. Do not select a general quota and assume that it carries the same access or documentation rules as a special token.
Rank #2
Seva and related options
Arjitha Sevas and other seva-related bookings can have earlier or separate releases from darshan tickets. If your purpose is a seva rather than a standard darshan entry, locate that category in the quota notice instead of waiting for the Special Entry Darshan release.
| Route | What distinguishes it | What to verify online |
|---|---|---|
| Special Entry Darshan | Separate darshan quota with a category-specific release time | Target month, release notice, date availability and current booking terms |
| SRIVANI | Separate trust-ticket allocation with advance, current-booking and other portions described in dated notices | Current allocation, eligibility, reporting time and whether the route is open to you |
| Senior citizen / disability / chronic disease tokens | Eligibility-based token categories | Current eligibility wording, quota date and any information requested by the portal |
| Seva-related options | Arjitha Sevas and other services may release before ordinary darshan quotas | Exact seva category, release time and terms for your visit month |
Current notices do not provide enough information to make a reliable comparison of prices, queue duration or the on-site experience across these routes. Check those terms in the live portal before committing.

- Fix the intended visit month. Write down the month in which you want to report for darshan. Quota announcements are tied to that month, not simply to the day you happen to search.
- Identify the category. Decide whether you need Special Entry Darshan, SRIVANI, an eligibility-based token or a seva-related booking. If more than one category might apply, read each category’s eligibility terms before choosing.
- Find TTD’s latest quota announcement. Use TTD’s official communications and look for the notice that names your target month. Record the release date and time for your category. A notice for another month is only an example of how scheduling works.
- Open the official portal at the announced time. Go to https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. If the portal presents an updated route or notice, read it before proceeding. The current site, rather than an older guide, determines the available booking path.
- Follow the category’s current prompts. Select the relevant darshan or seva service, then choose an available date and any other choices the portal requires. Do not assume that fields, menus or eligibility checks are identical across categories.
- Review the booking summary. Check the visit date, category, number of devotees and every displayed condition. This is the point to stop if the date or route is wrong; do not pay merely because a slot appears.
- Complete the transaction using the portal’s instructions. Enter the information requested on the live page and use the payment method it currently accepts. The notices reviewed here do not establish a current list of payment methods, so do not rely on a list copied from an old article.
- Keep the confirmation details. Save or print the confirmation shown after a successful transaction and retain any booking reference, date and reporting instructions displayed. Use the confirmation and the latest TTD guidance when planning your arrival.
At every step, distinguish an available date from a completed booking. A date is not secured until the portal confirms the transaction.
How TTD’s release schedule works
TTD publishes quota notices for particular target months. The release date and time can differ between Special Entry Darshan, accommodation, SRIVANI, seva and other categories. These announcements are operational schedules, not a standing yearly calendar.
Example: October 2026 quotas
A TTD notice dated July 12, 2026 announced October 2026 quotas. It scheduled Special Entry Darshan tickets for online release on July 24 at 10 AM and accommodation for Tirumala and Tirupati at 3 PM that day. The same notice referred to earlier releases for seva tickets and other categories. Those times apply to the October 2026 announcement only.
Rank #3
Example: December 2026 quotas
A later notice dated September 12, 2026 announced December 2026 quotas. It scheduled Special Entry Darshan for September 24 at 10 AM and accommodation for 3 PM. It also scheduled SRIVANI tickets for September 23 at 11 AM. The changed dates demonstrate why a reader must check the notice for the desired visit month.

| Target visit month | Notice date | Category and release | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 2026 | July 12, 2026 | Special Entry Darshan: July 24 at 10 AM | Dated example for the October quota, not a permanent annual rule |
| October 2026 | July 12, 2026 | Tirumala and Tirupati accommodation: July 24 at 3 PM | Separate from the 10 AM darshan release |
| December 2026 | September 12, 2026 | SRIVANI: September 23 at 11 AM | Category-specific release on a different day |
| December 2026 | September 12, 2026 | Special Entry Darshan: September 24 at 10 AM | Same clock time as the October example, but a different release date |
| December 2026 | September 12, 2026 | Accommodation: September 24 at 3 PM | Separate accommodation quota |
Before paying, compare the notice’s target month, category, release time and the live portal’s available dates. Never carry a date from this table into a different month.
SRIVANI: treat the allocation as a separate, changing system
SRIVANI deserves separate attention because TTD has issued different arrangements at different times. A January 6, 2026 announcement introduced online current booking on a trial basis from January 9. That announcement described a daily 9 AM release, booking until 2 PM, same-day reporting at 4 PM and a one-month trial. Those trial terms should not be presented as a permanent policy.
A later TTD announcement dated May 29, 2026 described a revised allocation effective June 10, 2026 through March 31, 2027. It reported the following daily allocation:
| SRIVANI portion | Number stated in the May 29, 2026 notice | Qualification in that notice |
|---|---|---|
| Advance online tickets | 500 per day | Released three months ahead |
| Current booking at Tirupati Airport | 200 per day | Airport-based current-booking allocation |
| Eligible-donor earmark | 300 per day | For eligible donors who contributed Rs. 10,000 and were awaiting darshan |
| Total online availability stated | 1,500 per day | Figure reported in the revised arrangement; verify the live page |
The same May notice said the donor facility applied to eligible donations made on or after May 1, 2025. It stated that the specified tickets would be released at 9 AM, with darshan at 4 PM for bookings made before 1 PM. These numbers, dates and conditions belong to that dated arrangement. Because SRIVANI allocations are expressly subject to revision, verify the current SRIVANI page and notice before relying on any of them.

Information that older TTD guidance may not settle today
TTD’s online-services FAQ dated June 4, 2016 contains details that readers may still find quoted elsewhere. It says children under 12 did not need tickets, mentions Aadhaar identification for a child, states that failed transactions were refunded within seven working days and says online bookings accepted Indian credit or debit cards.
Those statements are historical guidance from 2016, not guaranteed current rules. Before booking, confirm the present child policy, identity requirements, accepted payment methods and failed-transaction support on the live TTD site. If the portal’s current wording differs, follow the current wording.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to do when a date or transaction does not work
No quota appears
Check that you are viewing the correct target month and category. A quota may not yet have reached its announced release time, or the release may have been published in a newer notice with changed dates. Recheck TTD’s latest announcement instead of repeatedly refreshing an old booking link.
The date is visible but unavailable
An announced release creates an opportunity to book; it does not promise inventory. Confirm that the category is correct, look for another available date shown by the portal and reassess your travel plan. Do not pay for a different category unless its eligibility and reporting terms suit your group.
The schedule conflicts with an older article
Use the newest TTD notice for your target month. The October and December 2026 examples show that release dates change even when the category and clock time look similar.
A payment attempt fails or the confirmation is unclear
Do not assume that a failed or interrupted attempt created a valid booking. Check the portal’s current transaction status and support instructions before trying again, and keep any reference or message displayed by the site. The seven-working-day refund statement found in the 2016 FAQ should not be treated as a present-day guarantee.
You are unsure whether a page is genuine
Stop and return to https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in. TTD’s notices specifically advise devotees to book through that official website only. Do not provide payment details to an intermediary merely because it claims to reserve a TTD slot.

A practical planning timeline
Several weeks or months before travel
- Choose a realistic visit month and list every devotee who may need a ticket.
- Identify whether your group needs Special Entry Darshan, SRIVANI, an eligibility-based token or a seva.
- Watch for TTD’s quota notice naming that month.
On the release day
- Use the exact date and time stated for your category, converted to your local time if you are outside India.
- Open only the official TTD portal and read any current announcement displayed there.
- Allow enough time to review the summary and complete the transaction; an open calendar is not a completed reservation.
After booking
- Store the confirmation and note the booked date, category and reporting instructions.
- Recheck TTD’s current guidance before travelling, especially if your visit is months away or you selected SRIVANI.
- Carry out only the preparation that the current confirmation and official instructions require; do not rely on an outdated checklist.
Key cautions before you pay
- Do not treat examples as rules: July 24 for October 2026 and September 24 for December 2026 are dated releases, not annual dates.
- Do not combine categories: SRIVANI, Special Entry Darshan, tokens and seva bookings have separate allocations and may have different eligibility.
- Do not infer missing details: Current identity-document lists, payment methods, account steps and queue behavior are not established by the notices cited here.
- Do not assume availability: A release notice tells you when to check, not how many tickets will remain when you arrive at the portal.
- Do not use stale policy: The June 4, 2016 FAQ can provide historical context only; verify every child, refund and payment rule on the live site.
Bottom line
Start at https://ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, select the category that genuinely matches your visit, and use TTD’s newest quota notice to time your search. Because release dates and SRIVANI allocations change by month and category, verify the live availability and all booking conditions immediately before payment.
