To add an image slideshow in Hostinger AI Builder’s manual mode, click Add section between two sections, choose Slideshow, and click its thumbnail. Select the new section to add and arrange images, choose navigation controls, and set autoplay or looping. The steps and limits below reflect Hostinger’s documentation as of October 2026.
Add a slideshow section
- Open the page you want to edit in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode.
- Move to the point between two adjoining sections where the slideshow should go, then click Add section.
- Choose Slideshow in the section menu and click its thumbnail to insert it.
- Select the new slideshow section to open its editing controls.
A slideshow is added as a section, not as a standalone image element. Hostinger documents the manual-mode workflow in its slideshow instructions.

For upload troubleshooting, its newer image-upload article lists JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, and WebP as supported formats, and HEIC and TIFF as unsupported. That article recommends WebP files under 10 MB for better performance; this is performance guidance, not a replacement for the documented 15 MB maximum.

Choose navigation, autoplay, and looping
- Navigation: In Style, choose arrows, slide buttons, or both, and set the controls’ color.
- Autoplay: In Settings, choose whether slides advance automatically.
- Loop: In Settings, choose whether the slideshow starts over after the final slide.
Hostinger does not document a vertical slideshow option in its current instructions: “Currently, there’s no option for using a vertical slideshow.”

The section actions let you duplicate, copy, delete, or move the slideshow up or down, and show or hide it on desktop or mobile. If visibility or layout matters, check both versions after editing: Hostinger’s manual-mode overview says the mobile editor is available from the top toolbar.
Manual mode also includes image and gallery elements. A static image presents one image, while a slideshow lets visitors move through a sequence; the available documentation does not specify that these elements share the same controls.
