The Flowtica Folio’s high-tech feature is a paper-to-app workflow: markings printed on its notebook pages let the Flowtica Scribe app recognize a photographed page, transcribe handwriting, extract action points into a to-do list, and make the text searchable. You still take the photo with your phone’s regular camera and upload it yourself; the app does not provide its own camera mode, according to a review published August 25, 2026.
How the Flowtica Folio notebook works with the Scribe
The Folio is a physical notebook cover designed for the Flowtica Scribe. Its included notebook has printed markings that the Scribe app recognizes in an uploaded page photo. The review describes the resulting workflow as handwriting transcription, action-point extraction into a to-do list, photo storage, and searchable text. The page markings are the bridge between handwritten notes and the app; this is not described as simply scanning any unmarked page.

Can you use the Folio with a regular pen?
After filling the supplied notebook, the reviewer suggests replacing it with a conventional notebook and carrying a regular pen in the Folio.
