Razer’s Perfect 180 is a configurable software feature that maps a quick 180-degree turn to a mouse control for low-sensitivity gaming. It is available on two distinct models—the Basilisk V4 Pro and Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed—and the result depends on in-game sensitivity and Razer Synapse’s total-count settings. It is not a mechanical button that guarantees an exact turn in every game.
What Perfect 180 does
Razer describes Perfect 180 as a way to perform an instant 180-degree turn while playing at low sensitivity. You assign the feature to a supported mouse button through Razer Synapse; pressing that mapped control triggers the turn behavior. Razer says the result depends on the game’s sensitivity and Synapse total-count settings, so setup affects how the feature behaves.
Razer lists Perfect 180 on both the Basilisk V4 Pro and Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed product pages. The title does not identify which model it means, and their specifications differ.
How to set it up
Razer says Synapse is used to configure button mappings and other settings. Its HyperSpeed FAQ says Perfect 180 can be mapped to any control; the Pro page describes assignment to a supported mouse button. The official material consulted does not specify a verified, version-specific sequence of menu labels, so the exact steps may depend on the Synapse version.

- Install and open Razer Synapse.
- Choose the Basilisk V4 Pro or Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed that you are configuring.
- Open the mouse’s button-mapping controls and assign Perfect 180 to a supported control.
- Adjust the game sensitivity and Synapse total-count settings, then check the turn in your game.
If the turn does not match your expectation, revisit those settings rather than assuming the button itself produces a fixed rotation in every setup.
Basilisk V4 Pro and HyperSpeed: what differs
Razer’s Japan announcement, published October 8, 2026, positions the Pro as the higher-end model. Its listed prices and launch timing below apply to Japan only; the announcement says the Japan launch is planned for November. They do not establish US pricing, stock, or release timing.

On its current US HyperSpeed product page, Razer separately claims up to 140 hours of battery life over HyperSpeed Wireless and up to 225 hours over Bluetooth. Those are Razer’s stated maximums for different connection modes, not a single combined battery figure. The cited Japan release does not give battery duration for the Pro, and the consulted sources do not establish current US prices or stock for either model.
Charging accessories are optional
Perfect 180 does not require a charging dock. Razer’s HyperSpeed FAQ identifies the Mouse Dock V2 Pro or HyperFlux V2 as optional wireless-charging solutions; using them involves replacing the mouse’s cover puck. They are charging accessories, not prerequisites for mapping or using the feature.

Design and what the evidence establishes
The “Power Ranger’s foot” comparison is a subjective visual impression, not Razer’s product description. The official materials cited here do not substantiate it as a factual design claim.
Razer describes the feature’s intended behavior and states that settings influence the result. The materials cited here do not establish through independent testing that every game and configuration produces an exact 180-degree turn. Readers should also check local availability before choosing a model, since the announced prices and launch month above are specific to Japan.
