What Ørsted’s firewall automation did

Nautobot is the platform Network to Code directly associates with the described automation.
What is known—and not known—about speed
Network to Code contrasts the automated workflow with firewall changes that had taken days or weeks. The useful lesson is the workflow design, not a particular speed claim: encode policy and validate a requested change before it reaches the firewall, while keeping an auditable record of intended and approved state. Teams assessing a similar system can examine:

- Auditability: Is there a reliable source of truth that lets reviewers trace what was requested and approved?
- Change-management integration: How does the workflow connect ticketing and approval processes?

- Human control: Which steps require approval, and which can be deployed automatically?
