MyZubster’s reported MYZ-209 change gives evidence sources stable identifiers and displays Proof v2 and Proof v3 as distinct attestations linked to a Knowledge Card. That makes it easier to inspect where evidence came from and which payload an attestation refers to—but it does not prove the knowledge claim is true. This account follows contributor Nicola Lorenzini’s September 30, 2026 implementation report, not an independent audit of the repository, contract, production deployment, or reward ledger.

Why stable evidence IDs matter

A Knowledge Card in the MyZubster Knowledge Graph can connect to multiple pieces of evidence. Lorenzini reports that the MYZ-209 work assigned evidence records stable SRC-* identifiers so their identity would persist across refreshes and reimports instead of depending on display order or presentation.

That distinction matters when a graph changes. A source can move or be rendered differently while remaining the same evidence record. Stable IDs help people and software continue to refer to that source consistently.

Sources and attestations are different things

The report distinguishes ordinary evidence sources from structured proof attestations. A source supports a knowledge claim; an attestation records a commitment about a payload. Treating them as separate graph concepts helps avoid presenting raw source material as if it were itself a proof record.

MYZ-209 aimed to show Proof v2 and Proof v3 as distinct attestations, preserve the Proof v2 history, avoid duplicate URL nodes, and retain stable evidence identities. Lorenzini says structured fields such as proof type, version, and role are safer ways to classify records than relying only on labels; text detection can remain a fallback for older data.

What Proof v3 is reported to contain

For the Knowledge Card described in the post, Proof v3 includes a SHA-256 digest and an Ethereum Sepolia attestation. The post also lists a contract address and associates deployment and attestation references with the payload and documentation. Those implementation details are reported by the author and have not been independently verified here.

The verification relationship is described as:

  1. Start with the canonical payload.
  2. Calculate or inspect its SHA-256 digest.
  3. Associate an attestation with that digest.
  4. Allow another person to compare the payload and digest and inspect the attestation evidence.

A digest identifies a particular payload, and transaction evidence can help establish that an attestation occurred. Neither establishes that the underlying knowledge is accurate, complete, or trustworthy. As Lorenzini puts it, “The blockchain reference doesn’t magically prove that the knowledge itself is true.”

What visual graph review uncovered

According to the implementation report, the first version built successfully, but inspecting the rendered graph revealed semantic problems a successful build did not catch:

  • RF SIGNAL SHIELDING: Faraday bag blocks WiFi (2.4 & 5GHz), Bluetooth, cell signals including 5G networks, GPS, RFID, and radio signals from low MHz to 40GHz. Prevents device hacking, tracking, spying, and chain of custody corruption.
  • MILITARY GRADE CONSTRUCTION: Built with water-resistant ballistic nylon outer material and two interior layers of high-shielding TitanRF Faraday Fabric on all sides. MIL STD 188-125 and IEEE 299-2006 shielding effectiveness confirmed with full test reports, available upon request.
  • DIGITAL PRIVACY: Offers instant signal isolation for uses such as military and law enforcement forensics investigations, government and executive travel, personal data security, EMP/CME protection, and EMF reduction.
  • UNIVERSAL FIT FOR ALL CELL PHONES: Interior dimensions when closed (device must fit inside these dimensions): 5.5"L x 9"W (14cm x 22.86cm). Easily protect multiple cell phones, credit cards, passports, key fobs, GPS units, transponders, two-way radios, and small devices.
  • ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Four bags included! Unique serial number for asset tracking, transparent pockets on back to place company information/evidence card, secure double roll and Velcro closure.
  • Proof v2 appeared in duplicate representations.
  • Raw evidence used by a grouped proof still appeared as ordinary source nodes in the proof-filter view.
  • The Proof v3 node had no edge connecting it to the Knowledge Card.

The reported fixes grouped proof evidence by version, hid evidence already consumed by a grouped proof from the proof-filter view, and added the missing Proof v3-to-card edge. In the reported production Proof filter, Proof v3, its SHA-256 digest, and Proof v2 were visible; the card connected to Proof v3, and duplicate raw proof sources were absent from that filtered view. Ordinary SRC-* nodes remained visible in the full graph. This is the author’s account of production state at the time of publication, not a current live check.

What the report establishes—and what it does not

The reported change is about making evidence identity and attestation history easier to inspect. It does not provide a complete protocol specification or establish a general security comparison between Proof v2 and Proof v3. Their coexistence is presented as versioned history, not as a ranking of security or quality.

Lorenzini describes a workflow that included implementation, tests, a Vercel preview, visual graph inspection, fixes, a second preview, final verification, merge, and production verification. The post says CI failures were traced to unrelated backend tests and that Daniel Ioni performed the final preview verification. These are details from the author’s account, not independent test results.

The post also reports a 250 MYZ contributor reward, based on maintainer confirmation as described by Lorenzini. It characterizes MYZ as an internal accounting unit, not an on-chain token or fiat payment, and says the public ledger entry had not been independently located at publication.

How to interpret the evidence chain

The useful takeaway is to keep four roles distinct: a source supports knowledge, a stable ID preserves the source’s identity, a digest identifies a payload, and an attestation or transaction record helps inspect a commitment. Lorenzini summarizes the distinction this way: “A source can support knowledge. A digest can identify a payload. An attestation can commit to a digest. A transaction can provide independently inspectable evidence that an attestation occurred.”

These pieces can make a knowledge graph more auditable by showing what was referenced and how a payload was committed to. They do not substitute for assessing the source itself or evaluating whether the claim is true.

Nicola Lorenzini’s September 30, 2026 DEV Community post is the primary account for the MYZ-209 implementation details described here.
