MyCreatorPulse is presented as a single dashboard for Malaysian creators to track public metrics across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Douyin and Xiaohongshu. Its distinguishing feature is a nightly record of those numbers: instead of seeing only a post’s latest totals, a creator can compare snapshots and see what changed over time. Builder Junhan Pang described the service as being in a pilot with a handful of creators when he wrote about it; the live product page and pilot status may have changed since then.
What is MyCreatorPulse?
MyCreatorPulse is a hosted web app designed to bring public creator metrics from six social platforms into one place. Pang says it records followers, views, likes and comments side by side, and keeps nightly snapshots so creators can review post-level growth and historical changes. The product page says it does not require a platform login and retains data for as long as the creator keeps an account. Those are the builder’s and product site’s claims, not independently verified collection or retention results.
The use case is straightforward: a creator who publishes the same content across several apps otherwise has to open each platform separately and compare numbers shown in different interfaces. MyCreatorPulse’s proposed value is a shared view of public figures and their changes, rather than a replacement for every platform’s native analytics.

Native analytics can offer measures that a public-metrics dashboard cannot, including data available only to an account owner. MyCreatorPulse’s stated distinction is cross-platform breadth and a retained history of public numbers. It can help answer questions such as whether a post’s visible likes or views have grown since its previous snapshot; it does not claim to reproduce all private audience or performance data in native creator tools.

That distinction matters when evaluating coverage. “Six platforms” describes the product’s stated scope, not proof that every metric is available for every post or that every platform exposes the same information. A rounded figure, hidden count or metric that a platform does not publish cannot support the same precision as an exact visible total.
How does the app handle missing or imprecise metrics?
Public social data is uneven. Pang notes that YouTube displays subscriber counts in rounded form, such as 12.3K; Instagram does not show views for photos, and a hidden like count is unknown rather than zero; Xiaohongshu does not publicly show views. Treating an unavailable number as zero would falsely imply the post received no activity.
Pang’s stated rule is: “if a platform doesn’t publish a number, the app doesn’t guess it.” This is a useful principle for any cross-platform comparison. Engagement rates also need the right denominator: compare only posts for which the relevant metric is available, rather than calculating a rate from a missing or mismatched figure.

What does the technical stack look like?
Pang reports building the service with Next.js 15 App Router, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind v4. Its database is PostgreSQL hosted on Neon, accessed with Drizzle; the app uses Better Auth, runs on Vercel in the Singapore region, sends email with Resend and uses Cloudflare for DNS. This is the builder’s account of the implementation, not an independent architecture or deployment audit.
How are the daily snapshots scheduled?
The builder describes two scheduled jobs, with times chosen around Malaysia time:
- Snapshot run: 18:00 UTC, which is 2 a.m. in Malaysia (UTC+8).
- Digest: 00:00 UTC, which is 8 a.m. in Malaysia.
According to Pang, each job claims its work date before processing, so a duplicate invocation for that date does nothing. He also says dates are explicitly pinned to Malaysia time and checks are run with TZ=UTC to expose bugs caused by environment-dependent date handling. These are implementation details as reported by the builder, not independently reproduced operational results.

Do platform APIs explain how MyCreatorPulse collects data?
No. The product describes its inputs as public numbers, but the available information does not establish the collection method, platform permissions, or compliance with each platform’s terms. The relevant API documents should not be treated as proof that MyCreatorPulse uses those APIs or has a particular access entitlement.
YouTube’s Analytics and Reporting API documentation describes channel and content-owner analytics, including user activity and ad performance; its Reporting API generates daily reports for unique 24-hour periods. This is distinct from evidence about the app’s own pipeline.
The retrieved TikTok documents are also product-specific. TikTok’s mini-drama analytics documentation describes daily refreshes and notes that some data may be delayed by up to two days, but it concerns that developer analytics product—not general public creator-stat access. TikTok’s Query Creator Info documentation describes a publishing API requiring an access token and the video.publish scope; it is not an analytics endpoint.
Rank #4
The available material does not establish current API access rules for Instagram, Facebook, Douyin or Xiaohongshu, or independently verify the app’s collection practices. Creators considering the service should check its current terms and the relevant platform policies rather than infer approval from the product’s platform list.
What does the app’s build process reveal?
Pang says checks run during the build and that bug regressions are replayed against an in-memory Postgres implementation. He also recounts a test that accidentally relied on a production environment variable and blocked deployments. His lesson was to make test dependencies explicit and exercise date logic in a fixed time zone. This is the author’s account of a development incident, not a general claim about Vercel deployment behavior.

AnyMind Group’s 2026 announcement reports that TikTok’s share of campaigns on its AnyTag platform in Malaysia rose from 8% in 2023 to 44% in 2025; Instagram accounted for 48% of campaigns in 2025. These are AnyTag campaign-share figures, not the share of Malaysian creators using each platform, nor a census of the whole market. They do illustrate why a creator or marketer may want to follow public performance across more than one social network. See AnyMind Group’s announcement for the company’s reporting.

Malaysia’s Competition Commission interim report on the digital economy discusses creator monetization and names Nuffnang and Involve Asia as intermediaries advertisers may use to reach creators. It also describes TikTok Creator Marketplace as a tool for brands to view influencer reach, views and demographics and contact creators. These are ecosystem examples, not confirmed MyCreatorPulse integrations. The report is available from the Malaysia Competition Commission.
What does MyCreatorPulse cost?
The product page advertises RM199 per month and showed a beta-week offer of RM99 for the first month, dated October 5–11, with a seven-day money-back offer on the first payment. It also says users can cancel at any time. The beta dates are time-limited and the listed terms may have changed, so check the MyCreatorPulse website for current pricing and conditions before subscribing.
Who is MyCreatorPulse best suited to?
The product’s stated design is most relevant to a Malaysian creator who publishes across multiple supported platforms and wants a persistent view of changes in publicly visible metrics. It is less suitable as a substitute for private account analytics, or for anyone who needs every platform to provide the same metrics at the same precision. The central trade-off is convenience and historical comparison against the limits of public data and a collection process that has not been independently verified.
