Moonflesh is not used in ordinary Warframe Foundry recipes. It is the temporary currency for Epoch Operation: Taubound, collected on Eris and spent with Praghasa. To buy the entire published shop, including capped currency bundles and every Arcane purchase, plan for 10,494 Moonflesh until you verify the live Vacis Amp Skin price. A secondary listing calculates 10,294 because it prices that skin at 175 instead of 375.
The operation is scheduled for October 15 through November 17, 2026. The event vendor is the final authority on prices, so check Praghasa before you commit to a farming target.
Moonflesh is an event currency, not a crafting ingredient
Moonflesh does not appear in normal Foundry blueprints for Warframes, weapons, companions, or other permanent items. You earn it from eligible Infested enemies and Moonflesh Alerts on Eris, then exchange it with Praghasa during Epoch Operation: Taubound.
Digital Extremes’ October 15, 2026 announcement describes Moonflesh as currency for unique operation rewards, including the Contegorus armor set, Vacis Amp Skin, cosmetics, weapons, Archon Shards, a Legendary Core, and Arcanes. The announcement does not present Moonflesh as a resource you refine or consume in the Foundry.

How much Moonflesh buys the entire Praghasa shop?
There are two totals in circulation because the Vacis Amp Skin is listed at different prices by different secondary sources. The safer planning number is 10,494 Moonflesh, which uses a 375-Moonflesh Vacis price and matches an independent community purchase-total discussion. If the live vendor shows 175, the full total is 10,294.

The arithmetic is straightforward: 2,375 + 1,750 + 1,625 + 1,100 + 3,444 equals 10,294. Raising the new-item subtotal by 200 for the higher Vacis price produces 10,494.

Why do guides disagree by 200 Moonflesh?
The disagreement is limited to the Vacis Amp Skin. One itemized guide lists it at 175 Moonflesh; another full-shop calculation and a community purchase-total discussion use 375. The official announcement confirms that the skin is in the shop, but it does not publish every individual Moonflesh price.
Open Praghasa in the live game and read the price shown on the Vacis Amp Skin. If it is 375, use 10,494 as your reserve target. If it is 175, 10,294 covers the listed inventory. Do not assume an old screenshot or guide reflects the current vendor state.
What is included in the full-shop number?
New Taubound items
The new-item subtotal is either 2,375 or 2,575, depending solely on the Vacis price. It covers the new operation rewards grouped by the itemized guide, including the Contegorus armor components, the amp skin and other event cosmetics.

Returning rewards
Returning rewards add 1,750 Moonflesh. They are part of the published shop total even though they are not new to this operation.
One-time power rewards
Three Tauforged Archon Shards—Crimson, Azure and Amber—plus one Legendary Core cost 1,625 in total. These are one-time purchases, so they do not expand your budget through repeat buys.
Repeatable currency bundles
The listed Kuva, Credits and Endo bundles contribute 1,100 Moonflesh when purchased up to their caps. This is why a player buying only unique rewards will spend substantially less than the full-shop total.
Arcanes at the purchase cap
Eleven Arcane types account for 3,444 Moonflesh when each is purchased to the announced 42-copy limit. The 10,294 and 10,494 figures therefore assume an unusually completionist target: every listed Arcane purchase, every capped currency bundle, returning rewards and all one-time rewards.
Which rewards should you buy first?
If you do not expect to farm the entire reserve, spend in an order that protects limited-time and one-time rewards.

- Claim the new armor, Vacis Amp Skin and other Taubound cosmetics. Verify the Vacis price before calculating how much additional currency you need.
- Purchase returning rewards you actually want. Their combined listed cost is 1,750, but you can omit unwanted items without affecting new-event rewards.
- Use remaining currency on repeatable bundles. Kuva, Credits and Endo are useful sinks, but they are less urgent than unique event inventory.
- Buy Arcanes last. The 3,444-Moonflesh Arcane total assumes all eleven types are taken to 42 copies; stop earlier if you only need particular upgrades.
How do you earn Moonflesh?
Enemy drops on Eris
Eligible Infested enemies drop 2 Moonflesh each on normal difficulty and 3 each on Steel Path. Operation currency is not affected by boosters, according to Digital Extremes’ event information.
Using the conservative 10,494 reserve target, enemy drops alone would require 5,247 eligible enemies at two Moonflesh each, or 3,498 eligible enemies at three each. Those are arithmetic equivalents, not promises about a mission’s enemy count; actual totals depend on which enemies qualify and how many you encounter.
Moonflesh Alerts
Moonflesh Alerts award 50 on normal or 75 on Steel Path. At those fixed rewards, the 10,494 target equals 210 normal Alerts after rounding up, or 140 Steel Path Alerts. Alerts are therefore the fastest predictable injections when they are available, while Steel Path missions provide the higher per-enemy rate.
Planning a mixed farm
Subtract every Alert reward and shop purchase from your target, then divide the remaining amount by 2 for normal eligible enemies or 3 for Steel Path eligible enemies. For example, completing ten Steel Path Alerts contributes 750 Moonflesh; a 10,494 reserve then leaves 9,744 to earn from other Alerts or enemy drops. Keep the Vacis uncertainty in your calculation until the vendor confirms the price.
When does the operation end?
Epoch Operation: Taubound is scheduled to run from October 15 through November 17, 2026. Treat November 17 as the spending deadline. The official materials describe how to earn and trade Moonflesh but do not announce a post-event conversion, automatic refund or permanent vendor after the operation. Spend what you need before the event closes rather than assuming leftover currency will remain useful.
Moonflesh spending is separate from clan trophy progress
Do not combine Praghasa purchases with clan trophy requirements. The official progression table lists Ghost-clan thresholds of 1,500, 3,000, 4,500 and 6,000, with higher thresholds for larger clans. Those figures describe community or clan goals, not the Moonflesh cost of shop inventory. A clan can pursue a trophy tier while an individual spends a different amount at Praghasa.
Common planning mistakes
- Looking for a Foundry blueprint: there is no ordinary crafting recipe that consumes Moonflesh. Open the event vendor, not the Foundry, to use it.
- Budgeting only for new items: the 2,375–2,575 new-item subtotal excludes returning rewards, shards, the Legendary Core, capped currencies and Arcanes.
- Calling 10,294 universally correct: that figure depends on the 175-Moonflesh Vacis listing. Reserve 10,494 until the live price is checked.
- Counting boosters in your farming plan: Digital Extremes states that operation currency is not affected by boosters.
- Waiting until the final day: the event has a fixed closing date and no published post-event conversion, so allow time to spend the balance.
Bottom line for your farming target
For every listed Praghasa reward, including all capped bundles and 42 copies of each of the eleven Arcanes, target 10,494 Moonflesh unless the in-game Vacis Amp Skin is confirmed at 175. In that lower-price case, the complete total is 10,294. Moonflesh itself is an event-shop currency, not a component for ordinary crafting recipes.
