Monopoly GO milestone rewards are event-specific progress tracks. You earn points by completing the objective shown in the live event panel, then claim a reward each time your total reaches a threshold. There is no permanent number of milestones or universal final prize: published schedules include both 62-tier and 100-tier events, with different point costs and dice totals.

The efficient approach is to read the objective before rolling, spend dice only while the next thresholds justify that cost, and treat multiplier advice as a probability-neutral heuristic rather than a guarantee. Always use the event panel currently displayed in your account because objectives, durations, thresholds, rewards and seasonal currencies change.

What a Monopoly GO milestone track is

A milestone track is a progress bar attached to one limited-time event. The event defines an action that earns points. As you accumulate those points, the bar moves through numbered thresholds; each threshold unlocks a reward that you must claim from the event panel. The track ends at a final tier, but the final tier is not fixed across the game.

The objective controls how points are earned

Objectives differ by event. A representative schedule awards points for collecting pickups placed around the board. Another schedule awards points for landing on Chance, Community Chest and Railroad spaces. Those are different playing tasks, so the best way to use dice changes with the event that is active. Read the wording and the scoring icons in the panel before your first roll instead of assuming that a strategy from the previous event still applies.

What can be in a reward

Milestones can award dice rolls, in-game cash, sticker packs and temporary event currencies or event points. A reward may be a one-time bundle at that threshold rather than an amount that repeats at every level. Dice and cash are lasting account resources; a seasonal currency or event point is tied to the relevant event and may disappear when that feature ends.

Points and rewards are separate claims

Passing a threshold makes the reward available, but the event interface still requires you to claim it. Check the track after a run of rolls, particularly before the event timer expires. Unclaimed items should not be treated as safely banked merely because the progress bar passed the required number.

How many milestones are there before the final reward?

There is no single answer. The count belongs to the named event and its edition. The following published schedules illustrate the range rather than establishing a permanent rule:

Published schedule Milestones Total points across track Guaranteed dice listed Qualification
Linguini Milestone 10 62 51,625 18,165 MOGO Wiki Tools, 2026 schedule; event-specific figures
Pluckin Profits 62 51,625 18,215 MOGO Wiki Tools, 2026 schedule; same point total but a different dice total
Kiwi Milestone 13 100 112,900 25,900 MOGO Wiki Tools, 2026 schedule; later event with a longer track

“Guaranteed dice” in these schedules means the dice explicitly listed across the milestones, not a promise that a player can reach the final tier without spending dice. The 62-tier examples already differ by 50 guaranteed dice, showing why copying a chart from one event into another can mislead you. The 100-tier schedule has a higher point requirement and more listed dice, but that does not make it automatically better value: you must compare the dice you expect to spend, the time remaining and the rewards before the final tier.

Why an old chart can be wrong for a live event

Monopoly GO rotates events and seasonal systems. Official Monopoly GO news describes seasonal mechanics that can award rolls, milestone points or tournament points and states that seasonal features leave when the season ends. A chart can therefore be accurate for the event and date printed on it while being wrong for the event currently shown to you. Confirm the event name, its remaining time, the objective and every threshold in your own panel.

How to reach the final tier without wasting dice

Reaching the last milestone is an optimisation decision, not simply a matter of rolling until the bar is full. Use this procedure each time the track changes.

1. Record the live objective

  1. Open the event banner or event icon on the main board.
  2. Read exactly what produces points: pickups, Chance landings, Community Chest landings, Railroad landings or another action.
  3. Note the event end time and the next several thresholds, including their point costs and rewards.

If the objective is pickups, the useful board positions are the spaces currently carrying those pickups. If it is based on Chance, Community Chest or Railroads, those spaces are the relevant targets. A high dice multiplier does not compensate for rolling when the board position cannot produce the event action.

2. Map the next worthwhile checkpoint

Do not evaluate only the grand prize. Write down the point gap from your current total to the next threshold and the reward at that threshold. Then look at the following checkpoint as well. A short run that reaches two useful rewards may be sensible; a long run that consumes your reserve for a weak intermediate item may not be.

Keep a simple record in a note or spreadsheet with four columns: current points, next threshold, dice spent and reward value to your account. Updating it after each meaningful run prevents a progress bar from creating a sunk-cost illusion.

3. Reserve dice for productive windows

Hold part of your dice balance for periods when the objective and board position align. Rolling continuously at a low multiplier can drain the balance while producing few points; rolling continuously at a high multiplier can spend the same reserve even faster. The right window is the one in which several upcoming rolls have a credible opportunity to satisfy the displayed objective and the next reward matters to your account.

There is no universal reserve percentage because accounts have different income, stockpiles and other events. Set your own floor before starting: the amount you need for the next task, tournament or board progress. Stop the milestone run when reaching the next threshold would take you below that floor unless the reward is worth accepting that trade-off.

4. Use the multiplier as a controlled stake

A third-party strategy guide recommends increasing the dice multiplier when you are five to nine spaces from a target reward square. Treat this only as a heuristic. It does not change the underlying board randomness or guarantee that the next roll lands on the desired tile. A high multiplier increases both the points earned when the relevant space is hit and the dice consumed when it is missed.

Apply the heuristic only after checking three conditions:

  • The active objective rewards the space or pickup you are approaching.
  • The threshold you are targeting has a reward that justifies the larger stake.
  • You can absorb several non-target outcomes without losing the dice floor you set in step three.

If any condition fails, stay at a lower multiplier or wait. Do not raise the multiplier simply because the event is ending.

5. Separate points from excitement

Every roll should have a stated purpose: reach a pickup, attempt a target tile, or close a known threshold gap. When a run misses repeatedly, pause and compare the remaining point gap with the dice already spent. The fact that you are “close” is not evidence that the next roll is better value.

6. Apply a stopping rule

Use an expected-value check rather than a promise to finish. In plain terms:

Continue only when the value of the next realistic reward bundle is greater than the dice cost required to reach it, while preserving your account floor.

Value is account-specific. Dice may be more important to you than cash or a sticker pack; a temporary event currency may be worthless if you cannot spend it before the event ends. If the next threshold fails your comparison, stop at the current milestone. A final-tier badge is not automatically a profitable outcome.

7. Recheck after each major threshold

Threshold spacing and rewards often become less attractive or more expensive later in the track. Recalculate after claiming a large reward, after the objective changes, and whenever the timer enters its final portion. Do not assume that a strategy that was efficient for milestones 1–20 remains efficient for milestones 80–100.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

8. Claim everything before the timer expires

Open the event panel after your last run, claim available thresholds and confirm that the reward inventory reflects the claim. If a seasonal currency or point balance is shown separately, check its expiry rules in the event information. The final step is account housekeeping, but it prevents a completed threshold from becoming an unclaimed one.

Choosing a strategy for different objective types

The objective determines what “efficient” means. Compare the two common patterns using the same questions: where points can be earned, how predictable the target spaces are during your current board position, how many points the next reward costs and whether the reward is a lasting resource or a temporary currency.

Objective pattern What earns points Where to focus Main risk Useful check
Pickup collection Collecting the pickups shown on the board Routes and multiplier decisions that give access to active pickup spaces Spending dice after pickups have moved or disappeared Confirm the pickup icons and their current locations before each run
Specific board tiles Landing on Chance, Community Chest and/or Railroad spaces, as specified by the event Approaches to the named tile types Using a high multiplier when the approaching tile is not part of the objective Match the target tile in the event text to the space you are approaching

This comparison is deliberately objective-based. An event may use a different scoring action or combine several actions, so substitute the exact wording from the live panel rather than forcing it into one of these categories.

When pickups are the objective

First identify which pickups count and whether they are clustered or spread across the board. A cluster can make a short, focused run attractive; a sparse layout may require more dice for the same point gain. When a pickup has already been collected, remove it from your mental route. The useful target is the next active pickup, not the location that was valuable one turn ago.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

When named tiles are the objective

For Chance, Community Chest and Railroad scoring, the target is the landing space, not merely passing near it. Use the event objective and current token position to judge whether a multiplier is sensible. A five-to-nine-space approach can be a reason to consider the third-party heuristic, but it is not a reason to ignore the value of the next threshold or to stake your entire dice balance.

How to judge the final tier in the live panel

The final tier is attractive because it is visible, but visibility can hide its marginal cost. Make the decision in three passes.

Pass one: identify what you actually gain

  • List the final reward components: dice, cash, stickers, event points or temporary currency.
  • Mark which components remain useful after the event ends.
  • Check whether the final tier is a single large reward or several smaller items grouped together.

Pass two: price the remaining progress

Calculate the point gap from your current total to the final threshold. Then estimate the dice needed from your recent runs under the same objective and multiplier. This is an estimate, not a published probability. Use a range if your results vary: an optimistic spend and a conservative spend are more honest than one precise-looking number.

Pass three: compare alternatives

Ask what those dice could do elsewhere during the same period. The alternative may be another event, board completion, a tournament objective or simply preserving a reserve. Choose the final tier only when its practical value exceeds the opportunity cost and leaves enough dice for your stated floor.

Quick Wins is a separate reward track

Quick Wins should not be confused with the milestone bar attached to a limited-time event. The official Monopoly GO Help Center says: “Each day, you’ll receive three Quick Win tasks to complete within a 24-hour timeframe.” Completing and claiming those tasks adds points to a weekly prize bar with several milestones and a grand prize. The daily reset is at 13:00 UTC.

How to use Quick Wins alongside an event

  1. Open Quick Wins and note all three tasks after the daily reset.
  2. Complete the tasks that overlap naturally with your normal play instead of forcing expensive rolls solely to finish one.
  3. Claim each completed task so its points enter the weekly bar.
  4. Check the reset time in UTC if you play across time zones; the reset is not necessarily midnight where you live.

Quick Wins points advance their own weekly bar. They do not replace the event objective, and completing a Quick Win does not automatically advance an unrelated milestone track unless the live game explicitly says that it does.

Seasonal changes and event volatility

Seasonal mechanics can add rolls, milestone points or tournament points, then leave when the season ends, according to official Monopoly GO news. That volatility affects both the reward mix and the value of a dice spend. A temporary currency may be excellent during its event and irrelevant afterward; a dice reward can remain useful for a later track.

Common mistakes and how to correct them

Assuming every event has 62 milestones

The two 62-tier schedules above are examples, while the Kiwi Milestone 13 schedule has 100 tiers. Correction: read the live track and record its actual final number before planning a dice budget.

Copying a guaranteed-dice total into another event

Even two 62-milestone schedules list different guaranteed dice totals: 18,165 versus 18,215. Correction: use the figure only with its named event and date.

Raising the multiplier because a target is nearby

The five-to-nine-space advice is a heuristic, not a probability advantage. Correction: raise the multiplier only when the approaching space matches the objective, the reward clears your value test and your dice floor survives a miss.

Rolling after the objective stops paying

Pickups can move or be exhausted, and tile-based scoring applies only to the named spaces. Correction: reread the event panel after a major run and stop when the next rolls no longer serve the objective.

Chasing the grand prize after a poor checkpoint

Progress already made does not make the remaining dice cheaper. Correction: evaluate the next threshold from the current point total and stop when its expected value is lower than the dice cost.

Ignoring the event timer

A theoretically efficient route is useless if there is not enough time to complete and claim it. Correction: include remaining hours, your normal play schedule and the claim step in the decision.

Treating Quick Wins as the same track

Quick Wins has three daily tasks, a weekly prize bar and a 13:00 UTC reset. Correction: manage it separately and claim its points in its own interface.

A compact decision checklist

Use this checklist whenever a new milestone event appears:

  • What exact action earns points?
  • How many milestones does this event contain?
  • What is the next threshold and what does it award?
  • What is the final-tier reward, and which parts remain useful afterward?
  • How many dice can I spend without breaking my account floor?
  • Are target pickups or target tiles currently reachable?
  • Would the five-to-nine-space multiplier heuristic apply, and can I absorb a miss?
  • When will the event end, and have I left time to claim rewards?

If you cannot answer the first three questions from the live panel, do not start a high-multiplier run. The missing information is more important than speed.

Bottom line for efficient milestone play

Monopoly GO milestone rewards are variable event tracks, not a permanent ladder. The published 62- and 100-milestone schedules demonstrate why the event name and date matter. To reach a final tier efficiently, align rolls with the displayed objective, use multiplier increases as a cautious five-to-nine-space heuristic rather than a guarantee, budget dice against each upcoming reward and stop when the remaining value no longer beats the spend. Keep Quick Wins on its separate daily-and-weekly schedule, and verify the live panel whenever a season or event changes.
