Marvel Rivals Competitive ranks run from Bronze to One Above All, with Celestial between Grandmaster and Eternity. Players complete ten placement matches before receiving an assigned rank; the latest detailed official placement rules also say individual performance affects the placement adjustment. Exact Season 10 point thresholds, ordinary match scoring, decay, and reset rules are not specified in the current official notes cited here, so check the Competitive information and reward panel in-game for live details.
What are the Marvel Rivals ranks, in order?
The Competitive ladder, from lowest to highest, is:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Grandmaster
- Celestial
- Eternity
- One Above All
Celestial sits above Grandmaster and below Eternity; it was added in an official January 2025 update. The official update index and a secondary ladder reference support this order. The ladder is commonly described with divisions within ranks, but the official notes cited here do not provide a complete current list of division labels or thresholds. Check the labels and progress indicators shown in your client rather than relying on an older rank chart.

How do placements and rank progression work?
Placement matches determine where you enter the ladder. The latest detailed official placement documentation located for this guide is the Season 7 update: it says that each of the ten placement matches tracks individual performance and that, after match ten, the rank is adjusted by between -100 and +100 Competitive points based on personal results and tier. That adjustment applies to placements; it is not a formula for points gained or lost in ordinary matches. Read the official Season 7 update notes.

In Season 5, the official rules explained that a predicted rank could be used for matchmaking during placements, but it was not the final assigned rank; the actual rank was set after all ten matches. Those notes also said past results informed returning players’ estimated starting rank and gave Silver III as an estimated start for players who had never completed ten ranked matches in a season. These are dated Season 5 examples, not confirmed guarantees for Season 10. See the official Season 5 patch notes.
What point thresholds, match gains, and decay apply?
The official Season 10 notes cited here do not give a complete live table of point thresholds, an ordinary-match gain or loss formula, or a decay schedule. Avoid treating numbers from older community guides as current. Open Competitive information in the game and use the live rank and points displayed there as the authority for your account and season.

How do seasonal rank resets work?
Resets have changed between seasons, so historical demotion figures should not be used to predict a current reset. For example, the January 2025 notes described a seven-division demotion between Season 0 and Season 1, while later season documentation used different placement approaches. Neither example establishes the Season 10 reset formula. Check official update notes for the season transition in question.
What are the Season 10 rank rewards?
As of October 7, 2026, Season 10 was active; Season 10.5 was listed as arriving October 9. The Season 10.0 Gold-tier costume reward was Gorr the God Butcher — Gods’ Graveyard. The official Season 10 notes confirm the reward but do not restate all eligibility conditions, so consult the in-game reward panel for the required matches and ending rank. Older rules can explain why advice from prior seasons differs. Season 5 notes required ten ranked matches during a half-season and a Gold-or-higher finish for that half-season’s Gold costume eligibility; season-end rewards also depended on completed placements and the required ending rank. Party rules can also change by season. Season 5 official notes documented no five-player stacks from Bronze through Grandmaster and solo- or duo-only queues in Celestial, Eternity, and One Above All at that time.
